Best first experience with Rover! Amanda was incredible with our girl Aurora and I could tell from the updates that she was having a fantastic time staying with Amanda and her sweet family. She was so well cared for and it put my heart at ease to know we could get away for a cruise and know Aurora was in good hands. I happily recommend Amanda for anyone looking for a fantastic dog sitter! We'd love to have her sit for us again on our next trip!
Amanda and her family were amazing! I could tell Oliver was having so much fun hanging out with her and her kids. She sent lots of pictures so I could gush over him all weekend. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!

Schedule
I work 10 hour shifts and have one day off during the week. I am home every weekend. Your pet can relax in his/her own room until they get comfortable. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years.

I have a fenced in yard and 3 loving, friendly cats, and two pet-loving boys, ages 5 and 7 to welcome your furry companion. I have a guest (animal) room that I can keep a crate in or just to keep your pet in until they are comfortable to come out. This room has its own window to let fresh air in.
A typical day
Pets are like individual people. I would ask the owners what kinds of activities, games their pet enjoys, and go along with those. Walks, nice long walks in parks or trails or other pleasant places are always appreciated. Games, interactive play with toys, balls, even a stick are fun. Some dogs really enjoy chilling, watching TV while laying in/on your lap, being scratched. Some dogs love having their ears played with, others not so much. Some know and like doing tricks for praise and treats. Some dogs just love having someone talk to them! It just depends on the individual.
