You could probably say I enjoy being around dogs more than most people. I consider dogs angels. I love to spoil them. My two girls are very spoiled. I have always had a dog. At one time I had 4 large dogs. I know what distress looks like and I know animal safeguarding. My husband and I have a deep bond with animals. We will care for your dog just as if they were ours.

We could not do a meet and greet in advance because we are not local. We had some back and forth conversation to give both of us peace of mind that this was a good fit. I can confirm it was a great fit. Theresa appeared to be attentive to my 3 doodle mixes. She sent frequent pictures and communications. I could tell through the photos that my fur babies felt safe (i.e. sleeping on back). I would absolutely love my fur babies to visit again next time we are in the area.
Absolutely wonderful! They loved my 2 pups like their own. Very attentive, conscientious, accommodating, and great communication. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!
You can tell Theresa loves animals!! And she really cared for our dog (Toby) a lot!! It was not easy being away for as long as we were and making sure the person caring for your animal will take care of them like you do..but let just say…Theresa will!! She would text us a few times letting us know how well Toby was doing and pictures which we really appreciated. She has checked on our cat a few times when we went away for short trips and she is very reliable and again checks-in to give updates when she can!! Definitely choose Theresa!!
I'm so happy to write a testimonial about Theresa's love and knowledge of dogs, and actually animals in general. For one, she had been a dog or cat owner her entire life, which included a variety of breeds, so she knows the different personalities, health and nutrition, grooming etc. and what to expect. She also has rescued a few. We trusted her with our dog Jack, so much so that we would not consider making reservations or purchasing plane tickets until we checked with Theresa to make sure she would be available at the times we would be gone. He let us know this by the way he was always so excited and happy to see her. Theresa is a retired school teacher who move to Florida with her husband and two Shih Tzu's. She is looking to fill her time doing what she loves, spending more time with dogs and getting more exercise for herself. My husband and I highly recommend Theresa as part of your team at Rover. I have a fenced in yard and a safe place to walk dogs. I have two female Shitzus and they are very very friendly. I have had puppies, teenage dogs, and seniors. We only care for one families’ dog(s) at a time so they receive the care they deserve. We will send lots of pictures of your dog during our time with us and we will always follow your care instructions.

It depends on the day and the dog but we usually go for walks or drives. We may go to the beach but it depends on the dog I have. They get treats, we play ball and with our toys. I also give them rest time during the day. I cuddle with them and make them comfortable.
