“Sahar sent pictures while I was away. Sahar has a large fenced in back yard. Buddy had fun running around the yard. Buddy is a playful happy dog and he had fun playing with the children. I would recommend her and use her again. I was very happy”

“10 stars if possible. He continously communicates with me and reports me all meals and walks with pictures . We are so happy to find him. We were relax all the time in our trip because our dogs were in good hands. What a relief!! We recommend 100% Colton and definitely we will look for him again in the future. Thank you, Ileana and Danny”

About: I am a former manager of a Doggy Daycare in the greater DC Metropolitan area, Pet and Home Care. This daycare was an outdoor yard which contained up to 40 dogs at a time, of all breeds, sizes, and different behaviors. As an involved worker, I gained extensive experience, and learned how to enforce training, administer medications, work with aggressive/difficult breeds, and handle all animal care needs with ease. Through this company, I also did overnight pet visits in the clients home, in-home walks, visits, & feedings, and special requests. I've cared for dogs, cats, exotic animals, farm animals, and more. I am a former nanny, and former cat-owner myself, and have devoted my entire life to caring for animals and people. I consider myself a fun-loving, empathetic, energetic human who is ready to take on any challenges. Thanks for giving this a read, let me know if you have any other questions for me! I am a seasonal gig worker, so when I am home, I stay home! I will not leave your pet alone for more than 4 hours at a time (at most), and pride myself on being active and fun. I love to go on walks, have plenty of space in my yard to run around (on a leash of course), and live near dog parks if you're comfortable with that. You let me know what your dog needs schedule wise, and I will work with it! I have an large non-fenced, open yard. I don't have a lot of neighbors near the property, nor other animals, and I've always walked dogs (and sometimes cats!) on a leash around my property for a short time. Across the street is a proper neighborhood with sidewalks and suburbs where I will take dogs on any walk longer than 15 minutes. I have a one bedroom house, ground level, with no other pets, roommates, or unexpected visitors. I am a big cuddler, and want the pets to feel calm and at home when they are with me.
“Briana was great and communicative. She sent me pictures and updates daily about my Bella. I’d definitely have her board Bella again. I had peace of mind knowing Bella was in great hands.”

About: Hi! My name is Starla, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have four dogs of my own and have grown up caring for many different types of animals. My love for pets is what inspired me to start dog walking and pet sitting. I understand that pets are family, and I will care for your furry friend as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I am dedicated to making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am responsible, trustworthy, patient, and passionate about animal care, and I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I look forward to giving your pet the attention, care, and affection they deserve I love all my animals, they are my life. Everything I do revolves around them, so I’m very sure your dog is safe with me! I have a fenced yard in plenty of furry babies. Your dog can play with. I love each animal that comes my way, and respect your animal boundaries by caring for them.

About: I’m an avid humanitarian and animal lover with extensive experience with dogs. I currently have more time on my hands to help others in need! Currently I’m working part time in Jupiter. I have Monday through Thursday off and work Friday through Sunday. Every morning dedicated to long dog walks! I have a gated yard and one sweet (and lonely) dog. He is wonderful with all dogs, all sizes and would welcome your pup happily!
“Jennifer and her family were very sweet! Jennifer was incredibly responsive to messages and sent the cutest pics/videos of my cat. This was my first time ever using Rover or having my cat boarded, so I was extra nervous about leaving my fur baby, but could tell she was in great hands. She will be my first choice if I need a sitter again!”

Available seven days a week in south Vero greater area. Prefer to do all business before dark unless being asked to house sit overnight. “Jessica exceeded any and all expectations I had before I left on my three-week trip. In fact, based on the many photos I received while away, I was afraid Sugar, my dog, would not want to come home with me! Thankfully, that wasn’t the case! Jessica followed the strict diet Sugar has to maintain to avoid pancreatitis. And Sugar looked fantastic when I picked her up. If I could give Jess 10 stars, I would. I will definitely be using her in the future. Thanks, Jessica!!!!”

About: Hi! I’m Eliany! When I’m not performing, I love caring for pups and cats! I have experience looking after both young and older dogs, which includes house sitting as well (for both dogs and cats). Totally comfortable giving medicine, if needed, as one of my past pups was geriatric and needed daily meds. I’m committed to keeping your furry friends safe and caring for them just as you would! :) I currently have my schedule open since I’m on the search for a part time job. As long as I know ahead of time, I should be able to accommodate most routines. If I’m caring for your furry friend at my home, there are no roomates or other pets, so rest assured that I’ll be caring for your pet full time. I have no problem putting beds, water bowls, or things of the sort in my home for the time being. I do have experience house sitting for both cats and dogs. For the dogs I’ve house sat, we would normally go on daily walks, routine feedings, and attended dog parks sometimes. I’m also comfortable giving medication, if needed. As for house sitting for cats, I’ve given routine feedings, kept for fresh water out, cleaned out litters regularly.
“This was a top boarding experience! My dog was well taken care of. Thank you for the kindness, attentiveness an all the communication during the duration of the stay.”

“Rosa took wonderful care of our 4-month-old puppy, Hazel, while we were away for nine days. Leaving such a young puppy for that long can be stressful, but Rosa made us feel completely at ease with her kindness, reliability, and genuine love for Hazel. Hazel was clearly happy, well cared for, and comfortable when we returned. We are so grateful for the attention and affection Rosa gave her, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter. We would gladly have Rosa watch Hazel again!”

“Alondra and her family took such wonderful care of my Daisy! I reached out last minute on a holiday weekend, and she was willing to welcome Daisy as a new client without hesitation, which speaks volumes about her flexibility and kindness. Daisy was also recovering from a recent injury, and Alondra and her family were incredibly attentive to her needs and followed all of her care instructions to a T. They truly made her feel at home; she was allowed on the furniture, got to play, give everyone kisses, and be her normal, affectionate self. 🥰 Daisy can be a little nervous in a new environment and typically won’t eat well for the first 24 hours. Not on Alondra’s watch! She actually HAND FED Daisy to make sure she ate… and she did! That little act of kindness meant so much to me and showed me just how genuinely cared for Daisy was while I was away. I’m so thankful to Alondra and her family for treating Daisy like one of their own. Knowing she was safe, comfortable, loved, and so well cared for gave me such peace of mind. I would recommend them a million times over and would absolutely trust them with Daisy again!”

“Allyson was the absolute best sitter. She treated him like he was her own. Picasso was a great host! I will recommend Allyson to everyone I know. Thank you Allyson and Picasso. Newton says he would like to come see Picasso again ❤️”

“Alyssa and her husband were great! Very accommodating and wonderful communication. Sent a great pic of my 2 very large very happy puppies to let me see the fun they were having. Her training and experience really set my mind at ease and would recommend their services to anyone. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Denise was great to take my dog in a week before I had to leave. My dog got along great with her dog. I recommend her highly. My dog had to take medicine for allergies and Denise didn’t hesitate to do the job. I will bring my dog to her anytime.”

“Madeline was absolutely wonderful. Milo enjoyed his time with her. She kept me posted during his stay. I felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby in her care. I strongly recommend using her to take of your fur baby. Milo will definitely be returning.”

They did such a great job with our dog. He was spoiled and loved. Can thank Kaleigh and her family for thanking such good care of our dog, Rico. This was our first time using Rover and it was a great experience. She send updates with pictures which was great. Gave us so much peace while we were on our trip. Thank you Kaleigh!

Emily and her family treated our Scottie with the highest love and care possible! She thought of every detail and shared the loveliest photos with us. Her love for animals is clear and you will have absolutely zero worries while your pet is vacationing.with her. She far exceeded our pet sitting expectations! Thank you!

We have had our fur babies with Joe 3 or 4 times now over the years and they always come back happy and healthy. He sends videos and regular updates so we have something to watch when we’re missing them. When an unexpected issue came up this time, Joe took Penny and Poppy for over an entire month at short notice. He’s the sweetest and best caregiver we could ever ask for. See you again soon!

Went over before dropping off Mocha for a meet and greet. Stephanie's home is lovely and spotless. Was a little concerned that my dog was going to get too excited with Stephanie's cat but all was good. Mocha had knee surgery in January of 2026 and needed a few medicines. Stephanie was not concerned that this was too much. She sent me pictures of Mocha at least daily even one with Mocha and the children all dressed up in costumes. Her sweet children gave Mocha some of their stuffed animals. I would feel extremely comfortable leaving Mocha with Stephanie again. Thank you!

Melanie & Daniel were absolutely wonderful with our dog, Millie! They kept in touch with many updates and photos on a daily basis while we were away. Millie was so happy with them, she seemed reluctant to depart after he week with them. Much gratitude to both Melanie and Daniel .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
