About: I am an accredited trainer in basic obedience and own a black lab mobility service dog. Prefer to care for pets in the comfort of their own home. . Available seven days a week in south Vero greater area. Prefer to do all business before dark unless being asked to house sit overnight. I do not have a fenced yard nor the ability to walk large dogs unless they use a Gentle Leader or comparable. Prefer client's home for care.
“Lots of communication and loved getting pictures of my dogs throughout their stay! They had such a great time! Will be rebooking when needed in the future:)”

About: I absolutely love working with dogs of all ages and personalities, and I treat every pup like they’re part of my own family! Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of hands-on experience with leash-reactive dogs, helping them stay calm and confident on walks so they can enjoy their time outside. I also have a soft spot for puppies – I love channeling their energy into play, positive training, and building good habits early on. Senior dogs hold a special place in my heart too, and I make sure they get all the extra patience, comfort, and gentle care they need to feel their best. Every dog is unique, and I always take the time to get to know their personality and routine so they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make every visit or walk a fun and positive experience for your pup, while giving you total peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. Pet care is a big part of my life, and with a flexible, open schedule, I can easily make time for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m happy to adjust to your pup’s routine and needs to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. When I visit your pup for a walk or drop-in, my goal is to make it the best part of their day! For walks, I keep things safe and fun, matching the pace to your dog’s energy level while keeping an eye on Florida’s heat. I plan routes with shade, carry water when needed, and adjust walk times to avoid the hottest part of the day so pups stay comfortable. During drop-ins, I make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I always follow your instructions so their routine stays consistent and they feel happy and cared for while you’re away.
“Theresa and Joe took great care of our two dogs! I couldn't ask for a better place to leave them. Their house is clean and they have a huge fenced in backyard for the dogs to run around in, and a screened-in outdoor area too. The dogs got lots of outside time but lots of indoor relaxing time too. It was clear that they were given tons of attention. Their 3 dogs are friendly, well-behaved and well-adjusted. Theresa sent me updates and has a flexible schedule. I'll definitely be sending my pups to Theresa's house in the future and highly recommend her services!”
“This is my 1st visit with Kendra and she was amazing with our 14yr old baby! Kendra's daughters were so caring and loving towards Scruffy. I highly recommend her! She will be my go to dog sitter moving forward hands down!”

“Allyson was the absolute best sitter. She treated him like he was her own. Picasso was a great host! I will recommend Allyson to everyone I know. Thank you Allyson and Picasso. Newton says he would like to come see Picasso again ❤️”

About: Hi! My name is Starla, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have four dogs of my own and have grown up caring for many different types of animals. My love for pets is what inspired me to start dog walking and pet sitting. I understand that pets are family, and I will care for your furry friend as if they were my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I am dedicated to making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I am responsible, trustworthy, patient, and passionate about animal care, and I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I look forward to giving your pet the attention, care, and affection they deserve I love all my animals, they are my life. Everything I do revolves around them, so I’m very sure your dog is safe with me! I have a fenced yard in plenty of furry babies. Your dog can play with. I love each animal that comes my way, and respect your animal boundaries by caring for them.
“Jessica and Zara ( her dog) made our dog Teddy feel sooo welcomed and cozy in her home. The whole time we were away she sent us pictures which made me feel confident that he was in the best hands. We are so grateful for their loving care for our Teddy!”

“I had a wonderful experience with this sitter. They were able to take my fur-baby on short notice, and their home was spotless, welcoming, and conveniently located. The fenced yard was the perfect size, and they were very flexible with both drop‑off and pick‑up times. The adorable scarves they made were such a thoughtful touch.”

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and 3 cats in my childhood home. I have one old boy left from then, and I still help out in his senior years. I have groomed those three at home, and since moving into my own house, I dog sit small-large sized dogs, both in my own home and in clients homes. I regularly brush the dog’s teeth, trim nails, bathe, and brush their overcoat. I also take care of the grooming for my own two cats. I’ve grown up around all different types of animals, so I’m ready for any specific needs your pets have. I’m currently unemployed and dog sitting to make money, so I am free at all times of the day and night to care for your pets. I do not have a fenced in yard, but that’s no problem because I do not mind a little outside time to take them outside on the leash. I have a park down the street that I walk the dogs to so they can sniff around and stretch their legs. I can also do any extra food care, brushing, bathing, medication, or any needs you have from me. I can fit a crate if needed, but I don’t require any kind of crate.

“Absolutely recommend Mozelle!! She was sweet when we first met and she updated us with pictures and videos of our pup having fun. When we brought him home he was happy to see the kids…but if he could talk, we felt he was trying to tell us how much fun he had and how well he was taken care of. Thank you Mozelle. It’s hard nowadays to trust in a complete stranger to care for a member of our family, but you totally treated our pup like family. And that means so much to us. ✌🏼 🐶”

“Nikki & Michael did a great job watching our 13-year-old lab mix. He got his meds and walks. When we picked him up, he really seemed happy and at home with both Nikki & Michael. We would highly recommend them and are looking forward to booking with them again. Jim & Jean”

“Chloe and Luna received lots of love and had so much fun staying here! I will definitely be reaching out again, hopefully sooner than later. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my babies!”

I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I have taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. Whether it be family or friends; pet owners have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and care for their fur babies. I have my own 8 year old husky and care for all dogs as if they are my own. I currently work part time as a pharmacy technician, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet during the week. Pet care is part of my daily routine through feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, and companionship. I prioritize keeping pets happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a big backyard, lots of toys and a 8 year old husky of my own who loves other dogs. I can crate your dog if needed/separate.

Max had a wonderful time at Kaleigh's home. Every picture expressed how much he enjoyed his stay. Kaleigh is very communicative and will make your pet feel welcomed in her home. We accidently forgot to bring Max's blanket that he loves to sleep on but Kaleigh made sure that he was very comfortable for bed. We appreciate how you accommodated his needs. Thank you!

We have had our fur babies with Joe 3 or 4 times now over the years and they always come back happy and healthy. He sends videos and regular updates so we have something to watch when we’re missing them. When an unexpected issue came up this time, Joe took Penny and Poppy for over an entire month at short notice. He’s the sweetest and best caregiver we could ever ask for. See you again soon!

Went over before dropping off Mocha for a meet and greet. Stephanie's home is lovely and spotless. Was a little concerned that my dog was going to get too excited with Stephanie's cat but all was good. Mocha had knee surgery in January of 2026 and needed a few medicines. Stephanie was not concerned that this was too much. She sent me pictures of Mocha at least daily even one with Mocha and the children all dressed up in costumes. Her sweet children gave Mocha some of their stuffed animals. I would feel extremely comfortable leaving Mocha with Stephanie again. Thank you!

Melanie & Daniel were absolutely wonderful with our dog, Millie! They kept in touch with many updates and photos on a daily basis while we were away. Millie was so happy with them, she seemed reluctant to depart after he week with them. Much gratitude to both Melanie and Daniel .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
