About: I grew up around horses and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I now balance a desk-based career with pet sitting and dog walking, which is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I’ve cared for dogs with a range of personalities and routines, and I aim to make the experience easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. When I lived in Colorado, I went through extensive training with my own dog, which gave me a strong foundation in structure, consistency, and reading behavior. I now have the best boy, Scruff, and I bring that same level of care and awareness to every dog I work with. What I Provide: * Reliable, consistent care! * Walks and visits tailored to your dog’s energy level and routine. * Updates and photos so you always know how things are going. * Careful attention to behavior, mood, and any changes. * Respectful, clean care in your home and for your pet’s space. * Happy follow detailed instructions, routines, and preferences. * Will adapt to your dog’s positive and negative markers and work with cues that are already familiar to your family. What Sets Me Apart: * Lifelong experience with a variety of pets with a strong instinct for animal behavior. * Hands-on training experience, with a focus on structure and consistency. * Experience caring for a senior dog, so I understand patience, routine, and trust. * Calm, observant approach that works well for both energetic and more sensitive dogs. * Clear, consistent communication so you feel confident while you’re away. I’m very selective about who cares for my own dog, Scruff, and hold myself to that same standard! I’m always happy to do a meet and greet to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone! I currently work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible and dependable schedule for pet care. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, and I prioritize consistency for pets who thrive on routine. Because I have control over my day-to-day schedule, I’m intentional about the bookings I take on to ensure each pet receives reliable, attentive care. This also allows me to be responsive and flexible when needs shift or plans change. I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure your pet feels comfortable in their environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and instructions so things feel as normal and stress-free as possible, whether that’s feeding, walks, or any specific preferences your dog is used to. I’m mindful of the details that matter, like secure leashing, safe entry and exit, and leaving your home exactly as I found it. I also keep a close eye on behavior and energy levels, and I’ll communicate anything notable so you’re never left wondering how things are going. If caring for a pet in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and structured environment where pets can settle in comfortably. My dog, Scruff, is well-trained, and I ensure any interactions are safe, gradual, and a good fit for both dogs, though I don’t do introductions without pet parents first! At the end of the day, I understand how much trust this takes. I treat every pet and home with the same level of care and respect that I expect for my own.

Kathleen has been a lifesaver, stepped in at the very last minute after I began fostering a dog and needed coverage for a long work day 2x a week. Raider obviously adores her and she is prompt, thorough and very loving with Raider. I also scheduled an extra visit when I had an unexpected meeting and she was able and willing! She has had to roll with some issues as he is a new foster, out of shelter for 6 months and we are just getting a routine down. Thank you Kathleen!

Judy is the best! I had hip surgery & needed someone to walk my dog Roxy. On very short notice, I sent a request to Judy on Rover & she quickly responded that she could help me out. She came the next day & when Roxy & I met her, you could just tell how much Judy truly loves dogs! She got down on the ground & Roxy was all over her with kisses. I always said that dogs know what people are genuine dog lovers & who are not. Roxy knew right away that Judy was the walker for her. I totally agree! Judy’s been walking Roxy for over 2 weeks now…she is always on time & is constantly in contact with me. I highly recommend her!

About: I really enjoy being outdoors and walking my dogs regularly, since I was able to take a few steps I've enjoyed walking dogs. I have always felt I have a good connection with animals in general (except spiders). I understand you must be patient when taking dogs for a walk as some dogs may be older and have different needs. I've had dogs as small as chihuahuas to yellow labs. I volunteer at animal services and Born Free animal shelter when I can. I really care about the well being of dogs and their happiness. I can bring treats on our walk or any toy they enjoy. I am very athletic so I have no problem running with the dog(s) either. I understand the importance of being able to trust that your animals are in safe hands♥️ I teach at a local elementary school so afternoons work best for me! I’m available any time of day on the weekends. My husband is home during the day and is able to help out as well if your baby is at our house The safety of your pet and of mine are my number one priority. If I’m taking care of your baby at my house, The animals will not ever be left alone, especially if it’s a new introduction. And if I’m coming to you, any and all detailed directions are very much appreciated.

About: I have been around and taken care of pets my whole life! I often like to take trips to animal shelters just to give extra love to as many dogs and cats as I can, so I figured why not help people out on this app who don’t always have time for their fur baby! I am in flight school, meaning I have a flexible and pretty open schedule! I don’t have a set schedule for the most part, so I can work around you! My apartment complex has a dog park, depending on if your dog is a social butterfly or not. I’d love to take your pet on trips to the beach, or I can also offer to hang out with your pet in your home to escape the heat!

I am home from college for the summer so I am mostly available anytime and I will try my best to work with your schedule! About: I grew up with 3 dogs and 3 cats in my childhood home. I have one old boy left from then, and I still help out in his senior years. I have groomed those three at home, and since moving into my own house, I dog sit small-large sized dogs, both in my own home and in clients homes. I regularly brush the dog’s teeth, trim nails, bathe, and brush their overcoat. I also take care of the grooming for my own two cats. I’ve grown up around all different types of animals, so I’m ready for any specific needs your pets have. I’m currently unemployed and dog sitting to make money, so I am free at all times of the day and night to care for your pets. I do not have a fenced in yard, but that’s no problem because I do not mind a little outside time to take them outside on the leash. I have a park down the street that I walk the dogs to so they can sniff around and stretch their legs. I can also do any extra food care, brushing, bathing, medication, or any needs you have from me. I can fit a crate if needed, but I don’t require any kind of crate.

About: My best friends have always been my animals. I was lucky enough to be raised around horses, cows, donkeys, goats, dogs, and of course cats. I have a large ranch style property where we go for walks throughout the day. An initial meet and greet is appreciated so your kids know me and realize they are safe and one of your dirty shirts is always appreciated so they have your scent. I'm also licensed and insured. I'm a homebody and have a ranch style property. I'm up before the sun and start the day. The "kids" are fed and walked first thing and then we go for walks through the day. Its good exercise for all of us... and they can watch the horses. They live in the home like it's their own. I've been told they get excited when they know their mom and dad are dropping them off. I watch how they react and me and the kids go from there. The property is very large. I even have a fake fire hydrant in the back yard (which is pretty cute). The neighbors horses are always fun to watch and pet in the morning. It's very calm here.

About: I’ve had a dog my whole life and have been dog-sitting for friends and family for years, so I know just how to keep pets happy and healthy while their owners are away. I also regularly take care of my neighbors’ cats when they go on vacation, making sure they get fed, have playtime, and feel comfortable in their own space. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, which makes pet care feel like second nature to me. What Sets Me Apart: What makes me stand out from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs and my familiarity with both dogs and cats. I’m used to caring for pets with different personalities, from playful puppies to older, more mellow dogs. I’m also flexible when it comes to feeding schedules, medication, and any special needs your pets may have. I understand the importance of creating a calm, nurturing environment for pets, especially when their owners are away. Whether it’s a long walk, some fun playtime, or just some quiet companionship, I ensure your pet feels safe and loved. I’m currently available for pet care throughout the summer. My schedule is flexible, with some trips planned (though the exact dates are still being finalized). I’m actively applying for another job, but I can adjust my time to ensure your pets are well cared for. Whether you need a dog walker, sitter, or someone to check in on your pets, I’m happy to work with you to accommodate their needs for the summer. I take the safety and well-being of your pets seriously. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I always create a calm, comfortable environment that they can feel safe and relaxed in. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure to pet-proof the area, ensuring that there are no hazards or anything that could cause them distress. I have a dog-friendly environment with plenty of space for play, walks, and lounging. I also make sure your pet’s belongings, such as food and favorite toys, are accessible to keep them at ease. When I care for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible to minimize stress and provide a sense of familiarity. I always make sure to keep their living space clean and secure and will follow any specific instructions you have regarding feeding, medications, or special care. Most importantly, I am dedicated to building trust with both you and your pets. I keep you updated with pictures, messages, and video calls if desired, so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, and I truly cannot imagine life without them as part of the family. That is not just something I say. It is how I live. I have had cats since I was six years old, and my wife and I have shared our home with both cats and dogs our entire adult lives. Right now, our little crew includes our ten year old dog Nara and our two younger cats, Chiri and Lulu. Living in a multi-pet household has taught me how to read different personalities, manage different energy levels, and create a calm, respectful environment where everyone feels secure. I do not see pets as property. They are sentient, emotional members of the family with their own routines, preferences, and boundaries. When I care for your pet, I approach them with patience, attentiveness, and genuine respect. I adjust to their temperament. High energy or shy. Playful or independent. Young or senior. My goal is always the same. Make them feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their own space. My wife brings years of pet sitting experience and previously worked as a dog trainer and consultant. I have learned a great deal from her about behavior, structure, positive reinforcement, and how to respond calmly in different situations. That experience has shaped how I show up with animals. Steady. Observant. Consistent. When caring for your pets, I focus on: • Keeping routines consistent • Providing appropriate play and enrichment • Maintaining clean food, water, and litter areas • Offering calm companionship when that is what they need • Sending thoughtful updates and photos so you feel completely at ease Leaving your pets in someone else’s care requires trust. I take that responsibility seriously. I will treat your pets the way I treat my own. With patience, kindness, and real affection. If you are looking for someone who understands that your pets are family, I would love to help. 🐾 My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I focus on keeping their routine consistent, with regular potty breaks, play when they’re up for it, and plenty of companionship rather than quick, rushed visits. I’m available for afternoon and evening visits, weekend care, overnight stays in your home, house sitting, and extended care when needed. Whether your pet needs a few check-ins during the day, weekend coverage, or overnight care, I’m happy to work around what fits best for you. I aim to be present, attentive, and easy to communicate with, and I’ll send regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is comfortable and well cared for. If you have specific timing or needs, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to find a setup that works well for you and your pets. 🐾 Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for your pets, whether in your home or mine. In your home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I carefully follow feeding instructions, medication schedules, walking preferences, and any household guidelines you provide. I’m attentive to details like doors, gates, leashes, and secure areas so your pet stays safe at all times, and I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. My approach is calm, patient, and low-stress. I use fear-free handling techniques and pay close attention to behavior and subtle changes, especially for pets who may be more sensitive or require extra care. I’m also certified in Dog CPR & First Aid, so I’m prepared to recognize and respond appropriately if any concerns arise. I believe in clear, proactive communication. If anything seems off, I’ll reach out right away so you always feel informed and at ease. I aim to create an environment where every pet feels safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. They’re family, and I treat them that way. 🐾

Melissa has been so good to myself & my new little puppy, Bear! She is very flexible and communicates well- not only with updates (pictures & messages), but she is also able to provide input with any questions I may have. She is always attentive to Bear’s needs, and goes out of her way to spend the extra time with him that a puppy needs. She has made this experience easy and comfortable, so I have no worries leaving my puppy in her care. I would recommend Melissa over and over again!
