Animal Science Grad: Dogs,Cats,Buns
Ohio State Animal Science graduate, worked at horse barns and volunteered at animal shelters - I have two large rescue dogs and a cat. Worked at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium as a zookeeper, the pet insurance industry and a veterinary supply distributor! (yep - I LOVE animals!) Trained puppies, advance knowledge of pet healthcare, trained under licensed dog and horse massage therapist, experienced with larger breeds - have 2 German Shepherd mixes of my own! Friends and family come to me with pet care questions all across the US to help figure out what is going on with their animals. I work remotely and I am flexible with my routine currently. I have been walking dogs on Rover for the past 4 years, I have experience in dog daycare, kennels and hospitals. I LOVE to walk and run, I live a very active lifestyle. I also trained under my professor for therapeutic massages for dogs and horses, always good for a warm up before a walk for senior pups!

I do not care for people’s pets in my personal home, but I’m always very observant in all situations. I believe full attention is a necessary component to a safe dog walk and visit.

Katiann walks my senior dog multiple times each week. It's truly a special time for my pup. He is completely spoiled and gets soooo much attention the whole time with petting, joint massages, and enthusiastic praise! When she walks in the door, my dog squeaks and whines with happiness and big tail wags! During walks, she often works on training and always makes careful notes and pictures when his poop looks funny or he is walking or behaving differently. Senior dogs can have very subtle health changes, so I am so happy to have someone with so much expertise paying close attention to my dog. Once when my dog stole a ton of coffee beans, she knew immediately that this was a huge problem (compared to all the other times he eats things off the street) and got hold of me at work. She kindly drove him to the ER, so I could meet them there directly. That meant so much to me. We are very lucky to be on Katiann's schedule!!
Katiann is the best! We can relax knowing she will take great care of our fur babies plus she communicates how they are doing after each visit!
Katiann is wonderful with both our dog and cat. We can relax and enjoy our vacations knowing our furbabies are happy and well cared for. She is great at writing notes and sending us pics too.
