“This is my 1st visit with Kendra and she was amazing with our 14yr old baby! Kendra's daughters were so caring and loving towards Scruffy. I highly recommend her! She will be my go to dog sitter moving forward hands down!”

“Once again, Magnus enjoyed a wonderful stay with Catherine. I really appreciated how she was able to accept the booking at the last minute. 5 stars only because I couldn’t give any more!!”

“Harriet was amazing!!! She loved my dog with her whole heart!!! Jillie was so well taken care and had oodles of attention and snuggles. Harriet was great about keeping me up to date and sending me pictures and sharing stories. My dog searched our home looking for her when she got back. I think "Jilliie" really misses Harriet!!”

“Lulu was splendidly taken care of by Megan and family ( her husband Brian and Honey , their Cavalier). Lulu & Honey became fast friends and her 2 week stay was greatly enhanced by this new friendship! Megan sent me charming photos of Lulu on a daily basis and I was absolutely sure that she was being excellently and lovingly cared for. Megan has a lovely house and fenced in backyard where Lulu was able to romp & play. Lulu was so happy there - she no doubt would like me to go on another trip sometime soon so she could return. Of course - I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to rebook with Megan. The treatment was 5 star and I recommend her fully!!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our baby. It was such a relief knowing that she was in your hands. From our first meeting, we knew that we were making the right choice. It is really hard to pick a stranger to take care of your dog. We had no hesitation in choosing the both of you. We will be back again next winter and will give you a call then. Thanks again, Joan & Steve”

“Carol thanks again for great job yourself, husband and Able have done taking care of my KoHo. Much appreciate the care and kindness you show him and the nice updates. Will see you again when I travel.”

“Yussel and family did a fantastic job of taking care of Jake while we were gone. They have a wonderful fenced backyard and played fetch with him a lot. He was very well cared for. We would highly recommend her for boarding your dog!!!”

“Absolutely recommend Mozelle!! She was sweet when we first met and she updated us with pictures and videos of our pup having fun. When we brought him home he was happy to see the kids…but if he could talk, we felt he was trying to tell us how much fun he had and how well he was taken care of. Thank you Mozelle. It’s hard nowadays to trust in a complete stranger to care for a member of our family, but you totally treated our pup like family. And that means so much to us. ✌🏼 🐶”

“Daniel was great! Very communicative with pictures and videos during my pups stay. Very accommodating with drop off and pick up timeframe. Pup had a blast and will definitely use again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was very young. I love all breeds of dogs and have a way of connecting with any pooch. Dogs are our trusted friends and companions and I always treat them like a member of the family. I am comfortable walking, feeding, boarding, and playing with dogs. I am available for boarding on weekends (I currently have a full time job on Mondays through Fridays). I am a great fit for any pet owners who need to make plans for pet care if you are away for the weekend. I can keep your dogs comfortable in any manner of your choosing in my house. I have room in multiple bedrooms and in my living room and a big yard for them to walk around in. I can put them in a crate if that is what they are used to or let them stay in a bed if you prefer. I am a big proponent in plenty of exercise and play time for dogs.
“Danielle was amazing with our dog! This was my first time leaving her anywhere overnight, but Danielle definitely helped put me at ease. She sent several pictures and videos during the weekend and always let me know how my dog was doing. Remy was exhausted when we got home Danielle definitely kept her entertained! She was very sweet and always responsive and attentive. We will definitely be using Danielle again! Thank you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Thank you so much Edwin and Jannina for spoiling and loving my little fur ball my mind was at ease knowing he was well taken care of you guys would definitely be my first choice when I need another sitter”

“Wow absolutely the best doggy sitter. She was very communicative with us , sent pictures without me asking and always provided updates on our fur baby. My doggy immediately adapted to her because she has such a great energy . I highly recommend Daniela if you are looking for a person that is loving and caring.”

“We were so impressed with our Rover sitter! They watched our Maltipoo, Denver, for three days while we were at Disney World and took amazing care of him. We were nervous because of a past bad experience, but the daily photos and updates put us completely at ease. Denver was happy and well-loved the whole time. Highly recommend!”

“Thank you for everything! Nikki and her family did wonderful with our dogs and constantly sent me updates and pictures. I was so glad I go enjoy my vacation and know my dogs were in good hands! We will definitely bring using her again!!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
