“Nicole was absolutely great. Couldn't be happier with her service, care and updates while watching our dog Molly. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a great care.”

“Cely and Joshua were so warm and accommodating! I received so many videos and photos that made me miss Mikey less. They took such good care of him, he played with their dogs and Cely even washed Mikey's favorite blanket. Couldn't recommend them more!”

“Hailey and William were very easy to work with. Although we were not able to make it work, they were very accommodating in trying. They also helped me to have a better picture as to how our dogs are when we're not with them. Communication was fantastic. Hailey gave us many updates. Their home is set up very well for dogs. We felt very safe leaving our babies in their care.”

“Our dog, Archie, always has a wonderful time under Maria’s attentive care. Thank you Maria for providing such a lovely environment for lots of fresh air, exercise and genuine care!”

“Kaleigh was so great with my pups!!! She always kept me updated with photos and let me know how the dogs were doing! I definitely recommend her and will use her again for sure!”

“Laura was very good with Ollie sent to us pictures to make sure that he was ok . I liked because her house has a fenced back yard so I did need to be worried about Ollie takes off. Thanks again Laura 🤗”

“Before we left my wife was having separation anxiety from leaving her fur babies. William and his wife made sure they gave updates and photos as often as possible to help ease her mind. They are true animal lovers! I know our pets were well taken care of and will be using their services again in the future.”

“Sahar sent pictures while I was away. Sahar has a large fenced in back yard. Buddy had fun running around the yard. Buddy is a playful happy dog and he had fun playing with the children. I would recommend her and use her again. I was very happy”

“Mason and Chelsea were great. Mason treated Hunter like a king and took great care of him. He communicated with me regularly and let me know how Hunter was doing or contacted me if he had any questions. I would definitely use them again”

“Rosa was amazing with Piper! She kept me updated with photos and messages the whole time, and it was clear he felt comfortable and loved in her care. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time playing with her family and other dogs. I’d absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend 😊”

“I had to take medical leave out of state and wanted my fur baby nearby for the month I would be unavailable. I interviewed three prospects in the area and settled on Alondra due to her consistency and confidence. I was not wrong. Alondra and her husband Franco and their two boys soon became GOATs second family. Their dog Alika, his BFF. They were so good about walking per my instructions early in the mornings and late evenings to ensure the Florida heat was not an issue. In addition, I received and abundance of videos and pictures and texts throughout every day. She stayed available to receive phone calls as well. Alondra, along with her entire family provided the bestest care for my baby boi. He's a dalmatian and they are very high energy dogs, so she worked hard to keep his energy levels in check with daily walls and playtime in their beautiful backyard. We have actually become friends through this experience and I could not be more excited to share their dedication and love. If you ever need to take a break from life and want an affordable and extremely caring experience for yourself and your pup, I highly recommend leaving your pup with Alondra and her family!!!”

“Allyson was the absolute best sitter. She treated him like he was her own. Picasso was a great host! I will recommend Allyson to everyone I know. Thank you Allyson and Picasso. Newton says he would like to come see Picasso again ❤️”

“Jennifer and her family were very sweet! Jennifer was incredibly responsive to messages and sent the cutest pics/videos of my cat. This was my first time ever using Rover or having my cat boarded, so I was extra nervous about leaving my fur baby, but could tell she was in great hands. She will be my first choice if I need a sitter again!”

“We had contacted Ms. Harriet about boarding our little yorkiepoo Reesie this past weekend. Reesie was in such good hands with her. What I really liked about her was that she only boards one dog at a time which is what we were looking for when searching for a sitter. We wanted a more one-on one interaction where Reesie was able to feel comfortable. She made Reesie feel at ease and I think they both enjoyed each other’s company very much. She also kept us updated on how she was doing through out the day and sent us pictures of Reesie which put me at ease. Ms. Harriet comes highly recommended and we can’t wait for Reesie to come see her again for future visits!! ?”

“I highly recommend Nikki and Michael to care for dogs. They are amazing caregivers and have a perfect home and yard for our dogs to visit. Our dogs loved running in the yard and were happy.”

About: I've been animal sitting since I was very young, have never had a home without a pet, have raised, trained, sat, and taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I have been relied on for years by friends, family, neighbors, local community members, colleagues, and even friends of friends to care for and watch over their fur babies. I have even been flown out of state to watch over pets of a employer because of how much trust they had in me. I sent frequent photos and updates so you never have to worry about how your pet is doing! I currently work as a Door Dash delivery driver so I choose my hours and will not take any orders if I have a pet in my care, I can stay home and put all my focus on taking care of your pet 24/7! I have a large bathroom and crate if you prefer your dog in a more controlled environment, I have a large side yard and plenty of nearby dog parks and a very safe sidewalk for longer walks and running and playing.
“So thankful for Maiden and her family. I don’t know who’s happier- me or my fur baby! I have to keep my little Frenchie from jumping out of our SUV when we get to her house. He is best buddies with Jiggy and Gamora. I am fully confident leaving him knowing he’s well taken care of. Maiden takes pictures and asks questions as needed. It’s important to me that he is at a well kept and sanitary home. Outside there is a fenced pool but there is plenty of room for the dogs to run around. I highly recommend Maiden. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Megan was amazing - she's so friendly and kind! My guy had such a fun and peaceful stay with her and her little family. She sent me updates and pictures everyday, and treated him like he was her own. It made our trip so much better knowing he was in such great hands. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
