“I have nothing but positive things to say! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my pet with someone. The updates and service is great I would highly recommend for boarding to anyone!”

“Fran and Gabe are the best, they spoiled our Carolina so much that she did not want to leave! They took such great care of Carolina and kept me updated on how she was doing and sent cute photos everyday she was with them. I would highly recommend Fran and Gabe and will definitely be bring Carolina back to them.”

“Absolutely recommend Mozelle!! She was sweet when we first met and she updated us with pictures and videos of our pup having fun. When we brought him home he was happy to see the kids…but if he could talk, we felt he was trying to tell us how much fun he had and how well he was taken care of. Thank you Mozelle. It’s hard nowadays to trust in a complete stranger to care for a member of our family, but you totally treated our pup like family. And that means so much to us. ✌🏼 🐶”

“Carol was awesome! She took Lilli on very short notice and sent a bunch of pictures. Based on the pictures, Lilli had much more fun than at her normal sitter's house. Guess we found a new one :)”

“Lulu was splendidly taken care of by Megan and family ( her husband Brian and Honey , their Cavalier). Lulu & Honey became fast friends and her 2 week stay was greatly enhanced by this new friendship! Megan sent me charming photos of Lulu on a daily basis and I was absolutely sure that she was being excellently and lovingly cared for. Megan has a lovely house and fenced in backyard where Lulu was able to romp & play. Lulu was so happy there - she no doubt would like me to go on another trip sometime soon so she could return. Of course - I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to rebook with Megan. The treatment was 5 star and I recommend her fully!!”

“Jennifer and her family were very sweet! Jennifer was incredibly responsive to messages and sent the cutest pics/videos of my cat. This was my first time ever using Rover or having my cat boarded, so I was extra nervous about leaving my fur baby, but could tell she was in great hands. She will be my first choice if I need a sitter again!”

“Awesome sitter, my wheelie boy is so very safe there. I am so grateful to have found a safe place for him. Your dog is 100% safe here. Thank you Willam.”

“Amazing experience! Billie and her husband took such great care of our Standard Poodle who is sensitive and doesn't like to be away from us. Thank you very much for providing such wonderful care for our Teddy and keeping him occupied! And a special thanks to their Poodle Veronica who kept our Teddy company!”

“Angelina took such great care of our boy! We were so nervous using Rover for the first time, but having the meet and greet put us at ease. Angelina was super communicative and her dogs got along great with Roland. Will definitely be reaching out to her again with any future pet sitting needs!”

“What a wonderful experience with Any. She was very tolerant of my 2 super active spring doodles and me. After having a few mishaps on my journey out of town can back to my girls very happy”
“Renee was wonderful with our Bean! It was our first time leaving him with anyone other than family and she put us right at ease and took such great care of him and treated him like royalty. 🐶👑 Thank you so much! We will be using her and our go-to sitter from now on!”

“Samuel and his family did an awesome job watching our 2 goldendoodles Our girls have very different personalities with one clingy and always near someone and the other wanting to chase/play with other dogs. Samuel works from home and has two dogs so both our girls were happy during g their stay Videos and pictures were provided depicting their activities I would recommend him and will use his services in the future.”

“My dog’s home away from home, she absolutely loves being at Hailey and Will’s. I am never worried about her while she is there, I know they treat her as their own. She comes home wiped out from playing with their dogs which means I still get a little break when I get home.”

“Nikki was very responsive and caring. Our pups felt right at home with her. Nikki was flexible with our reservation and very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely book with Nikki again.”

About: I've had pets since I was a kid. I had my very own dog Ariel at 7 years old. Being around dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and fish were always a constant in my life. I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I also take care of rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, fish, and birds. I only housesit and do drop in's, in Palm City and Stuart only. Thank you!🙂 Planning in advance helps you to plan your trips. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I truly love helping people. My 12 year old son (middle schooler-mature/responsible) would come with me for overnights. He is very caring and respectful with pets. I am a previous hospital accountant that wants and enjoys helping others. My calendar is updated for the whole year of 2026 so you can plan trips in advance. **I will be on vacation out of the country from July 15-30** Boarding (in my home): We have a parakeet that I will keep in my sons room when we have guests. I live in a gated community and am very careful when leashing dogs inside my home before going for walks. House Sitting (in your home): I treat my clients home with respect and trust (just like my own). I make sure the home is locked after leaving and the pets have food and clean water. I was a foster parent to kids for 2 1/2 years. I have been thoroughly screened and I understand how important it is to be safe with your sweet babies.

Deborah and her husband are truly lovely people. Their cozy home is in a nice small gated neighborhood that’s ideal for dog walks. Deborah communicates wonderfully and always sends the sweetest photos. It warms my heart every time Bandit lights up with excitement the moment he sees her! This was my first time using Rover, and the experience was excellent. I highly recommend Deborah- I feel confident that Bandit is loved and well cared for with her. ❤️

Have not left Max with anyone but family when we’re away, but we needed another option this time and I feel like we hit the jackpot with Renee! She is truly someone who loves animals and clearly understands their language. We could not have been more happy with her care and continued updates on Max while we were away. We will absolutely use her again in the future.💕

Heidi took amazing care of our three Frenchies. She was incredibly attentive and responsible, always keeping us updated and sending photos, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout our entire trip. It was clear they were in great hands, and we could truly relax knowing they were well cared for. We would absolutely trust Heidi again and highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
