About: 20+ years of pet care experience. Growing up we had 4 dogs , 6 cats and a whole array of other critters. When it comes to pet sitting, drop by visits or just a quick walk, I’m your guy! I have a full time job that I work Tuesday-Friday 8-6. Im currently available Mondays, Friday evenings, Saturdays & Sundays. Holidays vary since I may be out of town I have two cats myself so ensuring a safe, clean environment is number 1 on my list. If there’s no mess or hazard, I’d ensure all essentials are either available or given at time specified. For example feeding and or medication time, along with kibble/ water restock. If there’s a list, follow the list lol

“Jessica took great care of Roxy while we were away. She was loving and caring. Jessica sent photos everyday and spent time doing Roxys 2 favorite things. Treats and brushes. I will be booking Jessica next time we go out of town!”

About: Hi! I’m a physical therapist during the week and available for dog walking on weekends. I can also help during the week early in the morning. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve cared for many different pets, including dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, and a hedgehog. I previously had a deaf dog with special needs, which taught me patience and how to provide extra care when needed. I currently have an almost 12-year-old dog, so I’m comfortable with senior dogs as well. I’d love the opportunity to give your dog a safe, fun walk and the attention they deserve! I currently attend college and am on the soccer team, so I have plenty of gaps between my schedule, but nothing concrete enough for a full time job. I have large gaps between classes during the week and free weekends for the most part n I cannot bring dogs into my own apartment, as I am in a temporary living environment that does not allow pets. However, I am willing to help in any ways I can.
“So thankful for Macy. Our sweet boy has a stomach ache and she played with him outside and gave him a little extra time just in case he needed to potty. Really appreciate it!”

“Lorianne did a great job taking care of our cat, Winnie, while we were away for 5 days. Winnie can be anxious, but Lorianne was patient with Winnie. By day 2, Winnie was rubbing on her. Lorianne sent daily pictures and updates. Highly recommend!”
“Heidi is so great. She was very gentle and took such great care of my vizsla, who is anxious. She updated me with pictures and I could tell he was comfortable and taken care of.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for over 4 years and have grown up surrounded by dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly treat every pet like family. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pet and provide attentive care. I’m available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week at flexible times, and on weekends I’m available before 7 AM and after 2 PM. I’m happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, and consistent weekly schedules to help keep your pet’s routine smooth and stress-free. You can count on me to be reliable, punctual, and communicative. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is carefully supervised and pets are always kept on a secure leash during walks and potty breaks. I never allow off-leash time in unsecured areas.
About: Hi there! 😊 I’m a lifelong dog lover and the proud dog mom of three amazing pups, including my sweet 11-year-old beagle, Rosco, and my two energetic Staffordshire Terriers. For over 11 years, I’ve been the primary caregiver for every part of their lives, from daily walks, feeding, playtime, and enrichment to administering medications, cleaning ears, treating skin irritations, monitoring health changes, and helping them through illnesses, injuries, and vet visits. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities because I believe every pet deserves individualized care. I know every wag, happy dance, and goofy personality is different, and getting to know what makes your pet feel comfortable is one of my favorite parts of the job. Whether your dog is an energetic adventure buddy, a shy sweetheart, or a senior who needs a little extra patience, I’ll take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. I’ll care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away, and I’ll always send regular updates and plenty of photos so you can see exactly how your best friend is doing. 🐾💛 Pet care is something I truly enjoy and have built into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule and offer morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, an evening walk, or extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to being dependable, punctual, and responsive. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your schedule whenever possible! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your routines, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special requests so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I treat my own and make sure everything is secure before I leave. Communication is incredibly important to me, so you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and messages after every visit. My goal is for you to feel completely confident knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in caring hands from the moment I arrive until the moment I leave.

“Another great visit from Lauren with our two dogs. Went above and beyond: I asked her to let the dogs out to go to the bathroom at a particular time. She did that but also took them for a walk. Didn’t expect that, but so appreciated that she took the time to give them some exercise.”

“Samantha was sweet! She made our first experience easy and stress free. She answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. My pup loved having her come visit and play with her! We will definitely be booking Samantha again!”

About: Owned and taken care of animals since I was little. Cats, dogs, other mammals/reptiles. Great with dogs no matter the energy or temperament, I can get them to feel comfortable. Besides caring for my son after school and summer camps, I have free time most of the day to do any checks or walks as long as it's not overnight/late night. I can care for them with provided toys/food/area or I am capable of taking them on walks if they need time out farther from the house. I know older dogs may not want to play fetch but still need to walk around the block a bit. Also cleaning if the owner has the area and supplies is no issue, I love giving dogs a bath.

“Samantha was amazing, she took great care of our cat while we were gone. She arrived on time, was very responsible, and our cat was happy and healthy when we got home. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stuart. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
