Macy has been awesome. I work as a firefighter and am away at work for long hours and have to have reliable caretakers for my #1 pup while I am gone. My german shepherd can be dog/people reactive when on his leash, so that adds to my stress while I am away. Macy showed up for a meet and greet and was well prepared to find out if her and my pup would be a good match. She communicates and responds to requests fast, even last minute ones! She takes care of my pup with great care and attention. Overall she is great and hopefully will be around to help me and my pup out for a while! Highly recommend.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I understand that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, and amphibians of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic medications if needed, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs on walks, providing enrichment and play, and giving plenty of attention and affection. I know how important routines are, so I’ll do my best to keep your pet’s schedule consistent. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Coastal and Marine Biology, and caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. My background has taught me to be observant, responsible, and attentive to animal behavior and well-being. I treat every pet as if they were my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is simple: to provide dependable, loving care so your pets are happy, healthy, and stress-free until you return home. I am currently fully available! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I keep a flexible schedule so I can provide reliable care for dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, birds, and other pets. I make time for feeding, exercise, enrichment, cleaning habitats, administering medications when needed, and following each pet’s individual routine. My goal is to provide consistent, attentive care that keeps every pet comfortable, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes, where pets can stay in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I do not board animals in my own home. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets closely during visits and walks, and provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: There’s nothing a little of my love and patience can’t handle. Everyone’s pets are different and have different needs. Maybe you have an escape artist, your pups love to talk, or perhaps you are still potty training. If your pet has special needs, I’m here for you! If you are a new pet owner, I’m here for you! I have experience with luxury property management, farm sitting, pet sitting, and green cleaning. I always send pictures so you can see how your buddies are getting along and receive timely updates on how our day/night is going. I consider your pets, property, and neighborly relations my first priority. I love animals more than I can say. I’ve been dog sitting for 13 years, but just set up my profile on Rover. I have my own dog, Booker, and I watch your pets to fund his pricey allergy medication! I love talking with pawrents about their experiences, funny stories, and products they love! I get along with all animal lovers. One thing always remains the same when I’m with your pets, lots of love and tender care. Needless to say, there is nothing more rewarding than gaining the trust and affection of a pet in such a short amount of time. I‘m happy to accommodate you this season. I have a very flexible remote work schedule. I’m here for your timing and needs, but prefer not to be in traffic at rush hour. I can care for pets in your home and I am not at all concerned about how clean your house is. I am just there to watch your pets!

About: I’ve always loved animals since I was young, watching all the pets in my neighborhood starting at 10 years old. I have over 100 volunteer hours at vet rescue clinic. I have 1 senior dog that I understand the care that comes along with that and the need of wanting to leave them in good hands when you aren’t home. I also have another younger high energy dog that comes with the need of many walks, paddleboard rides, and playtime to get all their energy out. Big dogs are not a problem as also I grew up with a mastiff. I am currently a university student, so I have plenty of free time when I am not in class. Most of my free time is in the afternoon or weekends. Just message me what works best for you and I am sure I will have time to accommodate that. When caring for your animals at your home I will treat them as they are my own pets. I want to be sure to match their routine so they will be comfortable at all times. Fresh water will always be available, along with tons of love and affection. I will be sure to keep you update as well with photos and text messages so you know your dog is happy while you are not there. My goal is to provide not just basic care, but exceptional care making sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved until you return home.

About: My love for animals started before I can even remember and has been a constant throughout my entire life. I grew up in a home filled with pets, including three Labs, a Beagle, English Springer Spaniel, two cats (both adopted), and two Mini Dachshunds all with their own personalities and temperaments whom brought years of memories. When I was a 20-year-old student at Florida State University, I brought home my own Mini Doxie, Lil Man Lynyrd Skynyrd, who became my absolute best friend for 16.5 wonderful years before peacefully crossing over the Rainbow Bridge to reunite with our other beloved family members—Sasha, Kona, Captain, Charlie, Bob Marley, Oakley, Lucy, and Mighty Jack Jackson. Today, I also help care for my parents' 16-year-old Mini Dachshund, Camo, who has been fully blind since birth (PRA), and was Lynyrd's very best buddy. Over the years, I've been fortunate to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, including those with special needs such as blindness, diabetes, missing limbs, cataracts, and allergies. My special-needs and four (and three) legged friends have always found a special place in my heart. I truly believe that every animal has their own story, personality, and unique needs. I am patient, compassionate, attentive, and understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, extra snuggles, medication, or simply a calm and loving companion, I will care for them as if they were one of my own. To me, pets aren't just animals—they're family. ❤️🐾 I work in sales and have the flexibility for drop in’s and also able to accept dogs at my home as well. My Doxie crossed over the rainbow bridge recently, and I miss having furry friends in my home. I cared for my dogs in different ways based on their medical needs, personalities ect… I live in a two story townhome now, and do not currently have any pets, but do have two small young children. Dogs must be family oriented or overnights.

About: Walking, playing, nails trims, administering medications and follow dietary needs. I can do all that while giving your babies love and attention. Anything else, feel free to ask or bring it to my attention. I work part-time hours, so I have time to come tend to your furry friends before work and right after. Willing to do overnights as well. In the clients home I follow any specific rules, be it putting pets in a crate over night or putting them in their own beds. I can separate pets during feedings, administer medications, and more.

About: Hi! I'm Billie, and I'd love the opportunity to care for your pet while you're away. I've spent more than 35 years caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and special attention. As a lifelong dog owner, I understand that every pet has unique needs, routines, and personalities, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. My husband works from home, and I have a flexible part-time schedule, so your pet will receive plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, exercise, and affection throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing fetch, relaxing on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll tailor their care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm experienced with administering medications, caring for senior dogs, and recognizing when something just isn't quite right. I also have professional dog grooming experience, which is available as an optional add-on service. Our home is shared with two friendly dogs—Veronica, a gentle Standard Poodle, and Edgar Allen, an easygoing Pug—who have taught me even more about patience, compassion, and individualized care. Communication is important to me, so you'll receive regular photo updates and messages, giving you peace of mind while you're away. For everyone's safety, I require a meet-and-greet before first-time boarding and only accept friendly, non-aggressive pets that are current on flea prevention. I'd love to meet you and your furry family member and provide the same level of care I'd want for my own pets. Pet care is a natural part of our everyday life. My husband works from home during the day, and I work part-time with a flexible schedule, so someone is always home to provide supervision, companionship, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of affection. Our own dogs are part of the family, and caring for them is our daily routine. Whether your pet is staying in our home or I'm caring for them in yours, I make sure they receive the same love, attention, and consistency they're accustomed to. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special medical or dietary needs so I can provide individualized care. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or yours, I maintain a clean, calm, and secure environment with constant supervision, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection. For everyone's safety, I require a meet-and-greet before first-time boarding and cannot accept dogs with a history of aggression or pets with contagious illnesses or flea infestations.

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
