“Macy has been awesome. I work as a firefighter and am away at work for long hours and have to have reliable caretakers for my #1 pup while I am gone. My german shepherd can be dog/people reactive when on his leash, so that adds to my stress while I am away. Macy showed up for a meet and greet and was well prepared to find out if her and my pup would be a good match. She communicates and responds to requests fast, even last minute ones! She takes care of my pup with great care and attention. Overall she is great and hopefully will be around to help me and my pup out for a while! Highly recommend.”

“Jackie was a total life saver! I’m a travel nurse and I work long hours overnights. Jackie bonded with my girl Tessie (who has her quirks, and is a total puller/jumper!) and worked with my schedule to make sure Tessie was getting walked and exercise before going to bed and first thing in the morning. She went above and beyond (and even left a magnet with a picture of her and Tessie on my fridge!). It was such a comfort to be at work and see my girl out enjoying herself. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, who communicates well, and who gets along with all types of dogs look no further. Thank you again Jackie! We wouldn’t have made it through the past few weeks without you! -Holly & Tessie”

About: I've been caring for animals my entire life and have always had a special love for dogs. I grew up with three family dogs, giving me years of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, administering basic care, and understanding each dog's unique personality and needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own with patience, love, and plenty of attention. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, lots of playtime, or simply relaxing with a companion, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I can easily work pet care into my daily routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. My priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away, so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in caring and reliable hands.
About: Hey everyone! My name is Kelsey and I live in Stuart, I have been dog sitting for the past 4 years now with Rover. I've had dogs since I was a kid, sat for others and fostered for a few weeks as well. I have experience with all age ranges of dogs, including giving medications to senior dogs, and dogs that need a little extra care. Looking forward to gaining regular or one time clients! I work part-time at a golf course, shifts are typically 6-8 hours and out early. I work 3-4 shifts a week, aside from that I'll be home with your pet or available for morning/evening drop ins! I do prefer to meet the dog and owner prior to first drop in or walk just to get a better feel for what the dog will require.
“Billie is absolutely amazing! It was so comforting knowing that Billie would be there for them when I was unable to. Billie always sent photos and videos of her visits and ALL of my babies looked happy and loved! Billie definitely goes the extra mile, not only for my babies but to bring peace of mind to myself!! I will definitely call on her any time I need assistance!!”

About: I would love to care for your fur babies while you are away or working! I am a responsible and active person and will do everything I can to keep the pets as taken care of as possible like they were one of my own. With having labradors my whole life and now a 6 month old lab/shepherd puppy myself, I am used to high energy and the responsibility that comes along with dogs. I work from home which makes it even easier to be available throughout the day. I also have about 8 years of experience loving on cat friends as well! I work from home so I have availability to stop by when I’m not on a call and take care of your fur babies while you’re away or at work as well If I was to go to your home, I would treat your pet and home with respect and reliability. I want you and your pet satisfied with my care!

About: I believe they will see that I will care for their dogs as I do my own. My boy "Jax" in the picture, he took his last run on 12-17-2023. Miss him dearly. RIP My angel! I grew up with Poms and went on to the large breeds once I was on my own. Germans shepherds, Newfoundland, English Mastiffs, Afghan Hound and a Great Dane. I am a dog and animal lover PERIOD. I really should have been a vet, vet tech or maybe even a zoologist! But I'm happy just to spend time with the dogs. I have house broken and trained all my dogs personally to basic commands and even some tricks. Some dogs are verbal and some are visual. Not all dogs are the same! That's why I LOVE them SO much!! ~ Reba I own a small Swimming Pool Service Company and have for 20 years. I no longer work in the field I occasionally go troubleshooting jobs or meet with new clients. So I'm semi-retired and home quite a bit I don't really go much of anywhere. I have a fenced-in yard, bordered by bamboo and lots of sniffing/hunting areas. However, they are never left unattended. I'm always outside with them. There is also a pool for the swimmers and a grassy area for just for playing.
About: Walking, playing, nails trims, administering medications and follow dietary needs. I can do all that while giving your babies love and attention. Anything else, feel free to ask or bring it to my attention. I work part-time hours, so I have time to come tend to your furry friends before work and right after. Willing to do overnights as well. In the clients home I follow any specific rules, be it putting pets in a crate over night or putting them in their own beds. I can separate pets during feedings, administer medications, and more.
About: Owned and taken care of animals since I was little. Cats, dogs, other mammals/reptiles. Great with dogs no matter the energy or temperament, I can get them to feel comfortable. Besides caring for my son after school and summer camps, I have free time most of the day to do any checks or walks as long as it's not overnight/late night. I can care for them with provided toys/food/area or I am capable of taking them on walks if they need time out farther from the house. I know older dogs may not want to play fetch but still need to walk around the block a bit. Also cleaning if the owner has the area and supplies is no issue, I love giving dogs a bath.

About: Every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owner is away. With a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for dogs—including having a Husky and two Yorkshire Terriers of my own—I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I have experience caring for dogs at different life stages, including both young and senior pets, and I know how important it is to tailor care to each individual animal. Whether your pet needs plenty of exercise and high-energy play or simply calm companionship and reassurance, I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel comfortable. As a sitter, I am reliable, punctual, attentive, and compassionate. I prioritize your pet’s emotional well-being and physical safety while maintaining a clean, secure, and comfortable environment. I also understand the importance of following routines, respecting instructions, and keeping owners informed while they are away. In an emergency, I remain calm, assess the situation carefully, contact the owner promptly, and prioritize veterinary care when necessary. My goal is to provide dependable, personalized care and treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. I look forward to getting to know your furry family member and giving them the care and companionship they deserve! I’m a full-time online student working toward my bachelor’s degree, which gives me a flexible schedule compared to a traditional in-person student. I can easily plan my schoolwork around pet care and make sure I have dedicated time for each pet. As long as I have time to complete my homework either before or during a pet stay, I’m happy to spend extended periods with your pet. This flexibility makes me a great fit for overnight stays and house sitting, especially for owners who prefer having someone stay in their home with their pet. I can bring my schoolwork with me and work quietly while still being present, attentive, and available for your pet throughout the day. My schedule allows me to provide companionship and care while also maintaining my school responsibilities, making overnight and longer stays especially convenient for me. I care for every pet as if they were my own, while making sure to follow the routines and instructions their owner has provided. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their pet comfortable by maintaining their normal feeding, playtime, bathroom, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For overnight stays and house sitting, I’m happy to spend extended periods in the home so pets have companionship rather than being left alone for long stretches. Since I’m a full-time online student, I can bring my schoolwork with me and work quietly from the client’s home while still being present and attentive to their pet. I also make sure the home stays clean and secure, provide plenty of attention and enrichment, and respect each pet’s individual personality and boundaries. My goal is to make the experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible for both the pet and their owner.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Stuart
Macy is more than just a dog walker, she puts her heart into taking care of your fur babies.. from the first interaction of her asking for an “intro visit” to make sure the animals & her were a good fit (even brought a questionnaire that asked all and any questions that would make her do the best visits possible) to daily photos to in-depth descriptions of how the walks/ animals were. I 10000% would recommend Macy over and over again!
Tiffany was wonderful with our fur baby! She was very accommodating, punctual, and our dog loved her. She kept us posted on their walks. How far they walked, where they walked, and what he accomplished. She also sent a picture of the dog at the end of the walks. We would highly recommend Tiffany, and will be requesting her to take care of our dog in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
