“David has been an incredible help, not only with walking my service dog Leo, but also during my recovery from surgery. He consistently goes above and beyond, helping bring in my mail, taking care of my trash bins, and checking in to make sure everything is okay when I wasn’t able to do those things myself. Most importantly, I trust him completely with Leo. He is dependable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the animals he works with. Leo is always happy to see him, which says everything. Knowing David is helping gives me total peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, trustworthy, and willing to go the extra mile, I cannot recommend David highly enough. We are so grateful for all of his help!”

Met Aaliyah prior to the walk and gave her information on Paco. She was super receptive and reassuring. Day of walk, she arrived on time, communicated well, and even reach out to verify rather than ignore it. Super appreciative of her help. We plan to use her again in the future.

Juliana provides great care for my dog Paco. We have a reoccurring schedule set up and she is consistent and thorough with her services. Based on my experiences, I would recommend her to any pet owner in need. She communicates well and provides a very friendly and caring demeanor towards animals. She has proven to be reliable and consistent, which are two things I’d assume all owners are looking for when we are looking for a helping hand. Thanks for all you do Juliana.

Greg is seriously the best dog walker I could ask for. He’s super flexible and always helps me out when my schedule changes last minute. My 100 lb lab, Copper, LOVES him and is always worn out after their walks. Greg makes sure Copper has water and that he’s safely secured in the house before leaving, which I really appreciate while I’m at work. I’ll definitely be using him for all future walks. Thanks so much, Greg!

Erica was very helpful and rather sweet even though I haven’t met her in person but chatted a bit. She sent pictures of my pup and was very communicative the time she spent with Brucey. I’m new to the area and she even shared info on vet and grooming places. I was eager to find someone at last minute because I just moved in and I’m new to this city. I’m happy I found her, she is very close to my place and I will use her services again.

Thank you to Carly W! This was our first experience with Rover and Carly was amazing with our Jack. She was attentive to our boy and gave us updates and pics. Communication with Carly was top notch, professional and just all around very sweet lady. We highly without any doubt recommend her and will be a repeat client of her for sure. Thanks Carly W and your kiddos💕🐶

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
