“Have just started booking Jaina to walk my 2 80lb Labs weekdays when I am at work. Both are excessively friendly, but will never be service dog trained quality. She has quickly learned to control the quirks of the very excitable 3 yr old chocolate and to then shift gears for laid back 4 yr old black lab. Communications have been excellent and she asks the right questions. Will highly recommend (except for around noon weekdays :) )”

About: Hey everyone! My name is Kelsey and I live in Stuart, I have been dog sitting for the past 4 years now with Rover. I've had dogs since I was a kid, sat for others and fostered for a few weeks as well. I have experience with all age ranges of dogs, including giving medications to senior dogs, and dogs that need a little extra care. Looking forward to gaining regular or one time clients! I work part-time at a golf course, shifts are typically 6-8 hours and out early. I work 3-4 shifts a week, aside from that I'll be home with your pet or available for morning/evening drop ins! I do prefer to meet the dog and owner prior to first drop in or walk just to get a better feel for what the dog will require.
“Macy has been awesome. I work as a firefighter and am away at work for long hours and have to have reliable caretakers for my #1 pup while I am gone. My german shepherd can be dog/people reactive when on his leash, so that adds to my stress while I am away. Macy showed up for a meet and greet and was well prepared to find out if her and my pup would be a good match. She communicates and responds to requests fast, even last minute ones! She takes care of my pup with great care and attention. Overall she is great and hopefully will be around to help me and my pup out for a while! Highly recommend.”

“Greg is seriously the best dog walker I could ask for. He’s super flexible and always helps me out when my schedule changes last minute. My 100 lb lab, Copper, LOVES him and is always worn out after their walks. Greg makes sure Copper has water and that he’s safely secured in the house before leaving, which I really appreciate while I’m at work. I’ll definitely be using him for all future walks. Thanks so much, Greg!”

About: I would love to care for your fur babies while you are away or working! I am a responsible and active person and will do everything I can to keep the pets as taken care of as possible like they were one of my own. With having labradors my whole life and now a 6 month old lab/shepherd puppy myself, I am used to high energy and the responsibility that comes along with dogs. I work from home which makes it even easier to be available throughout the day. I also have about 8 years of experience loving on cat friends as well! I work from home so I have availability to stop by when I’m not on a call and take care of your fur babies while you’re away or at work as well If I was to go to your home, I would treat your pet and home with respect and reliability. I want you and your pet satisfied with my care!
About: Hi there, I’m Kam and I live in Stuart with my family while I’m finishing my college degree. I’m a huge animal lover and I’ve always had dogs, cats and various other animals in my life. I enjoy the responsibility of caring for them and giving them the best life available. Every wag, happy dance, and silly personality and what makes your pet feel safe and comfortable is a pleasure for me. Keeping them happy, content and not stressed while their favorite person is away is one of my favorite job perks. From daily walks, feeding, enrichment and playtime, I feel it’s all important and am happy to help where I can. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities because I believe every pet deserves individualized time. Cats hold a special place in my heart because they are judgmental and loving, all at the same time. I am also comfortable around aquariums “fish” and small pets as well. I can offer in-house pet sitting, daily drop-ins and can even take them to a park if you would like additional outdoor time for them. Whether your pet is an energetic playmate, a shy sweetheart, or a senior who needs a little extra patience, I’ll take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. I’m an organized person that pays attention to the little details that are special for each pet. I’ll care for your pet with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I will consistently send photos and updates so you can see exactly how your best friend is doing. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your consideration. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and have built into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule and offer morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a midday potty break, an evening walk, or extra attention while you’re away, I’m committed to being dependable, punctual, and responsive. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your schedule whenever possible Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your routines, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special requests so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you’re away. I’ll treat your home with the same respect I treat my own and make sure everything is secure before I leave. Communication is important, so you will receive regular updates, photos, and messages after every visit. My goal is for you to feel completely confident knowing your pet is safe, loved, and in caring hands.

About: I have owned 3 cats in my adult life and 3 dogs (German Shepherd and 2 Greyhounds). I love walking dogs and exploring new paths around neighborhoods! I have taken care of elderly cats and dogs, including giving medications. I currently cannot have pets due to my community rules, so I would love the opportunity to love your pets! I am retired and am available most of the time even on short notice. I love dogs and cats but cannot have them where we live unfortunately. I can only care for pets in their own home due to our condo regulations. I will abide by my clients wishes for safety and the environment.
About: I have actually received many positive reviews for the sitting I have done up to this point, 4 years professionally and a lifetime of experience too! I have mostly had furred and some feathered pets, and have watched them for people I know in their homes too. I've done lots of official sits the past few years, and have been invited back for repeat sits several times. I'm conscientious and organized etc. by nature, and also have a calm presence that most pets quickly warm up to. I've taken care of indoor, outdoor and indoor/outdoor pets before, and am good with doors and keeping them where they need to be. I've also been recommended for other sits, and have had many others reach out to me for sits. I've also done a few sits without even having to meet the owners, like if they needed to take off or needed me to fill in as a replacement, so that's always an option if it ever comes down to it. I've even obliged when the first pick ahead of me falls through, which is no bother for me and probably ends up for the best anyway! My first 15 reviews shown here are just some of the many actual sitting-related reviews I've received over the past few years. I am flexible in general and can accommodate most any pet care requirements and scenarios. And feeding as well as play times and so forth. I am very good with doors and keeping pets contained and where they need to be. I am also attentive and enjoy giving pets attention.
About: Walking, playing, nails trims, administering medications and follow dietary needs. I can do all that while giving your babies love and attention. Anything else, feel free to ask or bring it to my attention. I work part-time hours, so I have time to come tend to your furry friends before work and right after. Willing to do overnights as well. In the clients home I follow any specific rules, be it putting pets in a crate over night or putting them in their own beds. I can separate pets during feedings, administer medications, and more.
About: I have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for dogs, including my own as well as dogs for friends, family, and clients. I have primarily worked with small to medium sized dogs, but I also have experience caring for larger breeds. I have cared for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs, including my own dog who lived to be 17. I am especially comfortable caring for senior dogs. I have experience administering medications as needed, and I understand how important patience, consistency, and routine are for older dogs. I am very reliable when it comes to following schedules for meals, walks, medications, and daily care. Communication is very important to me, and I know how reassuring updates can be for pet parents. I am happy to send regular messages and photos during visits or stays if you would like, so you can feel confident and at ease while you are away. Whether I am house sitting, stopping by for drop in visits, or taking dogs on walks, I treat every dog as if they were my own. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that means playing, walking, or simply providing companionship. I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Please see my cat care bio for more information about my experience caring for cats as well. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently available full-time, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and give pets the time and attention they deserve. I am able to plan my days around feedings, walks, drop-in visits, and companionship, and I prioritize being present and attentive during each visit or stay. I have experience managing pet care alongside remote work, so I am comfortable staying in the home and maintaining routines while ensuring pets are never left without proper care or attention. My schedule allows me to be reliable, responsive, and consistent, whether a pet needs regular walks, multiple daily visits, or overnight care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on safety, consistency, and respect for both the pet and the space. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, and any household guidelines. I make sure pets are always secure during walks and visits and keep doors, gates, and leashes properly checked. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality, comfort level, and any special needs, especially for senior pets. I maintain a calm and familiar environment by sticking to their usual routine and providing companionship, playtime, and attention at their pace. I also treat my client’s home with care and respect. I keep the space clean and tidy, handle litter boxes and feeding areas responsibly, and make sure everything is left as it was found. I communicate regularly with pet parents and provide updates and photos so they can feel confident that their pet and home are in good hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
