“Gemar was fantastic. Communication was quick and clear, and followed all instructions perfectly. Both of my dogs were well-fed, cared for, and genuinely happy when I got home. About: I’ve been dog sitting for over 4 years and have grown up surrounded by dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly treat every pet like family. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pet and provide attentive care. I’m available for walks and drop-ins throughout the week at flexible times, and on weekends I’m available before 7 AM and after 2 PM. I’m happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, and consistent weekly schedules to help keep your pet’s routine smooth and stress-free. You can count on me to be reliable, punctual, and communicative. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is carefully supervised and pets are always kept on a secure leash during walks and potty breaks. I never allow off-leash time in unsecured areas.

About: Hi! I’m Yanely 💗 I grew up with a Poodle and English Bulldog, so i’ve always loved dogs. Sadly, i’ve lost both of them and really miss having a furry companion around! I’m currently in nursing school and looking to spend my free time doing something I love. I already enjoy going on walks, so having a pup join me would make them even better! 🐶💗 While being in school, I have flexibility around my class schedule and enjoy using my free time to stay active and spend time with dogs I’ll follow their normal routine, give them plenty of attention and love, and make sure they have everything they need! I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own
About: I offer more than just a quick drop in; I provide dedicated attentive, companionship tailored to your pet’s unique routine and personality. With a sharp eye for health and safety, reliable communication, and a genuine love for what I do, I ensure your pet stays happy healthy and stress-free — giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I intentionally manage my schedule so that I am never rushed, ensuring I always arrive on time and have the dedicated energy your pet deserves. Because my routine is built around consistency, I am able to offer reliable predictable visit windows that keep your pets on their preferred feeding, exercise, and potty schedules. This structure allows me to give your animal my undivided attention during our time together, making their well-being my top priority. I will treat your space with the upmost respect, privacy and professionalism. My focus is on maintaining your pets familiar environment, keeping them safe in their own territory, and strictly following their established feeding, exercise, and medical schedules.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life since I was a little girl. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to old age dogs & pregnant mommas dogs. I’ve learned how to train them to walk on leashes how to crate train them and train them on command. I’ve worked with dogs Who’ve had many health issues as well. I have plenty of patience for happy, excited puppies, and plenty of love for calm lap dogs (even if they aren’t really lap dogs). I am a stay at home mom of 4 & im in school part time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’ll be free mostly anytime. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space . I do have dogs on my property, they have their own rooms for sleeping and playing . I live on an end street so not much activity happens on my street, so we’ll be able to talk walks as well . I also can crate them if needed .
“Elaine did such an AMAZING job watching my baby boy while I went home to visit my family on Christmas! This was my first time having Elaine as a sitter and she was as reassuring as she could possibly be! I was looped into some crazy flight cancellations and Elaine was very accommodating to meet all of my needs during those crazy times! She is very reliable and I highly recommended ??”

“Annie did great once again, went over and above as we had a little "ant infestation" problem which she handled for us and took great care of our kitty. Any chance anybody has to use Annie, we HIGHLY recommend her. Thanks Annie for all you did and continue to do for us.”

“Samantha was wonderful and always made sure Hudson was taken care of. Samantha sent me photos everyday of Hudson while I was gone and I felt comfortable knowing he was in good hands.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palm City
I could not have asked for a better sitter. I have a geriatric dog, and Sarah was everything I could ever hope or wish for. Sarah was extremely reliable, great with communication, and always prompt. She was always on time, sent many pictures during the day, and followed instructions to the T. I was out of state, and knew my dog was in good hands, and I will continue to use her services, and will always recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
