I have owned all different kinds of pets, and I currently own one crazy cat named Boo I have previous experience and am comfortable caring for amputee, partially blind/deaf, medically needy, injured, young, and senior pets. About: Myself and husband, Jim, have been pet owners since childhood, (the 1970's ) Taking care of household pets from kittens/puppies to seniors as well as livestock animals. We love our pets like family! We provide a safe, secure, loving environment. Your pets may not want to leave! I am retired and Jim is semi-retired. We are able to give all visiting dogs our full attention. We offer a flexible schedule to meet your dogs' needs to whatever he/she will need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. We have a double fenced yard: the main over-sized yard has a 5' chainlink on 2 sides, and 6' sold cedar fence on the other side. We have upgraded our backyard to include 500 square feet of artificial dog- friendly turf. The turf yard has its own 3 ft wire fence all around it. The whole yard has multiple shade trees to keep temperatures cooler, especially in summer. All dogs are allowed in the air-conditioned house and on most furniture. Sleeping arrangements are what works for your dog's comfort. Whether it's on the cool tile floor or on the bed/sofa your dog will be accommodated to their liking. **As an added step in protecting your dog's well being, we also have our own insurance policy through Pet Sitters' Associates.**

About: I bring over 10 years of hands-on animal care experience, working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, Cats, birds and reptiles. My background includes serving as an Animal Control Sergeant for a local government shelter for five years. In this role, I was responsible for the daily care and handling of shelter animals, including walking, feeding, and monitoring their health. I also conducted investigations into animal welfare cases and responded to “manner of keeping” concerns, which gave me extensive experience reading animal behavior and ensuring safe, appropriate handling in a wide range of situations. In addition, I worked as an in-home foster for service dog organizations, raising and training puppies for approximately 14 months at a time. This experience required consistency, patience, and attention to detail, including early stage training, socialization, and preparing dogs for advanced service work. Outside of my professional roles, I have been dog sitting and providing pet care services for over a decade. I am experienced in managing multiple dogs at once, including those with special diets, medications, and unique care needs. I also have a strong working knowledge of animal health and have collaborated closely with veterinarians. I am trained to recognize signs of medical distress and can respond appropriately in emergency situations to ensure pets receive prompt care. As a dog owner myself, I currently care for five rescue dogs ranging from 8 to 80 pounds, giving me daily, hands-on experience with a variety of breeds, energy levels, and personalities. I am confident handling animals of all sizes and temperaments and pride myself on providing safe, reliable, and attentive care. I work remotely, which allows me to maintain a highly flexible schedule throughout the day. I am able to provide consistent care and multiple visits as needed, including morning, midday, and evening check ins.
