I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision. I booked Lindsay for an overnight house sitting stay for three nights while I was away. Before booking, she told me she was off for the summer and had the availability to stay with my dogs, which gave me confidence in choosing her. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what we discussed. On the first day, we had agreed that she would arrive at 7:00 p.m. She didn’t show up, and I had to message her to find out where she was. She responded that she had forgotten our agreed-upon time. After arriving, she took my dogs outside and then left the house. When I asked if she was returning, she told me she was in the middle of watching a movie with her parents and wanted to go back to finish it before coming back. The following day, she left my dogs alone for approximately 9½ hours. When I expressed my concern, she told me she had to work and that it was her last day. I reminded her that we had discussed her availability before I booked her and explained that I was uncomfortable with my dogs being left alone that long. She apologized and said she would do better, but the pattern continued. My biggest concern was the lack of reliability and the apparent lack of commitment to the care my dogs deserved. When I hire someone for overnight house sitting, I expect them to prioritize my pets and honor the expectations we agreed upon. To make matters worse, when I returned home, the bathroom had been left messy, and the kitchen had dried food residue where she had eaten. Basic cleanliness and respect for someone else’s home should be expected. My dogs are family, and I trusted Lindsay to care for them as such. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her for overnight pet sitting. If your pets are like family to you and you’re looking for someone who will provide attentive, dependable care, I would encourage you to continue your search.

Lindsay had prompt communication and provided all the necessary care for our pets while we were gone. She was available for the July 4th holiday weekend. Her prices were very reasonable. She took care of our home.

Lindsey was great with our 2 dogs while we were out of town for a week in NY. She was always on time for visits and followed our instructions perfectly. We can tell she is an animal lover and she provided many photos and check ins with detail to put us at ease.

My 3 dogs were taken care of for 2 weeks at my home and they were all fine and no issues with escaping. One of them realized she could jump my fence right before I left but there was no escaping when I was gone because she kept the doors locked. My dog checks! She handled them and I had peace of mind.

Lindsay was wonderful to work with. She is quick to respond and be flexible. Rio is a senior dog and she took great care of him.

I highly recommend Lindsay as a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She is attentive, dependable, and truly cares about the well-being of the animals in her care. Lindsay goes above and beyond to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Anyone would be fortunate to have her looking after their pet.
