I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my entire life and I’ve pretty much always worked in the animal care field. I started out volunteering at shelters and hospitals when I was just a young teenager. I then moved on to chimpanzee care at Save The Chimps and was there for 13 years. I also worked at a very large veterinary hospital as an assistant in Las Vegas for a few months in between. We left our little one with Nikki this week, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Nikki is sweet and caring, and it really shows in the way she looks after the dogs. Aloy came home tired every day, which is perfect and shows she had plenty of activity and engagement. We’ve always been a bit hesitant about leaving her with someone, especially since this was her first time in daycare, but Nikki made us feel completely at ease. We highly recommend Nikki and will definitely be leaving Aloy with her again!
Maya did great. Fran and Gabe are really nice people and it’s obvious they like dogs. They seemed to enjoy Maya as much as she enjoyed them. This was a one night stay but we are booking 14 nights next month and I feel very comfortable with them. It took a bit of searching to find the right folks but I believe we have found Maya’s home away from home. Very much recommend And they have a lovely home in a great neighborhood. I enjoy getting photos from them.
