“Billie has my vote. She took my 2 dogs at 5:45 am and provided a safe enjoyable daycare experience for Tova and Sadie. Their tails were wagging in all the pictures and videos. Thanks Billie !!”

“Amanda was absolutely wonderful! My dogs love her, she treats them like her own. I will definitely be using Amanda again, my dogs are very happy with her as am I. They were walked, went to the dog park, and she stuck to their feeding schedule. She treated them like her own, and that’s all I could ask for. I highly recommend Amanda!”

“I can’t begin to explain just how much of a blessing from above finding you guys was. Tilly comes home with such a huge smile, and beyond happy. You guys are like a second home and family to her. We couldn’t have asked for a better fit. Thank you so much for all your love and kindness when she’s with you. I hope anyone reading this understands I’m very picky and very protective when it comes to who watches her and you’ve surpassed all my expectations. Thank you again, Tilly is looking forward to next week! 🥰”

“Catherine was an excellent sitter for our dog Amber. She sent multiple pictures and videos throughout the day to us and even took Amber for a nice walk in the park. I would highly recommend her and would not hesitate to use her again.”

“Angelina was wonderful to work with, she responded right away, communicated everything I needed to know (first time using Rover) for a day of Doggy Day Care for my 11-week-old puppy. She was interested in any special requests, assured me she would do a gradual meet-and-greet with her pups, and she sent me pics of them meeting. I am very happy that I connected with her. In addition, I had a bit of car trouble when I was leaving and her husband did a wonderful job (that he certainly didn't have to do at all) of helping me get on my way. Wonderful property - 23 acres! Thanks Angelina”

About: Welcome to Golden Paradise — a safe, loving home-away-from-home for your pup in Stuart. I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs. Since I work from home, your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I have hands-on experience training and caring for dogs, including successfully training my own golden retriever with advanced obedience skills. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with energetic dogs as well as calm companions. Your dog will enjoy playtime, walks, and a spacious yard for supervised outdoor time. We also have a pool area for relaxing and outdoor fun, with dogs always closely supervised for safety. Whether your pup loves fetch, cuddles, or relaxing inside, I tailor care to what makes them happiest. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates throughout their stay, so you always know your dog is safe, happy, and having fun at Golden Paradise. I work from home, so your pets will me home with them throughout the day. With a fenced-in backyard and a pool, your pet can run and play, and they’ll have my 2 year-old golden retriever as a playful companion! I have a fenced-in backyard with a pool where your dog can play and swim. If you prefer crating, I can accommodate that as well. My dog and I typically go for a walk in the morning, enjoy playtime in the yard during the day, and take a long walk after work. On weekends, we love taking him to the beach to run and play fetch – and your dog would enjoy the same routine!

About: Hello, I am Chris, and I am the loving dog mama to three sweet fur babies of my own who love other doggies to play with. I primarily work from a home office so I can provide care with a high level of supervision. Looking to establish a long-term relationship with your pup to ease the sadness when you take a trip, and treat him/her like a member of my own family. Boarding in my home with fenced yard, friendly/patient dogs, and lots of snuggles. *** Please note: NO new boarding/daycare requests will be approved without BOTH speaking to me on the phone first AND arranging a meet-and-greet with your dog(s). This for the safety of myself and my pets, as well as yours. *** I mostly work from home so it's perfect for being able to spend as much time as possible with the dogs. Much outside play time is offered (weather/heat permitting) with ample cool water, a fan, hose play time, and shade. Just giving plenty of love, attention, comfort, and maintaining your pup's feeding/medication/other schedules. They are not left unattended outside. If I have to leave them at home for a couple hours, they may be crated, depending on your pup's level of comfort with my environment.
“Kayli runs a really good daycare. She seems to love dogs and is very caring of them. She kept me posted as this was the first time my dog was at a daycare. I would recommend her for your dogs care.”

About: Throughout the last 12 years I have watched over family, friends and neighbors pets during vacations or emergencies. Dogs are the most common and they tend to gravitate towards me more. There was very little downtime in my life where I did not have a dog myself, along with reptiles and fish. I currently work from home and there is plenty of down time. Your pup will get plenty of attention and play time along with being able to go outside as often as they want/need. I will be available all day and evening. If there needs to be an early drop off or late night pickup, I can make it work for your schedule Our yard is fenced in with no breaks in the links. We have CCTV around the house and the dogs will rarely be outside without me being with them. I'll be checking water dishes frequently and serving food that you provide to your pup only. I can separate dogs to their own feeding area so nobody gets too nosey. We have 400sqft of Florida room for them to stay in, as well as room to move through the rest of the house while I'm migrating through the area. My office is in the play area with them, so they will be helping me throughout the day.
About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have two senior puppies, a Rottweiler and black lab mix. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pets when you’re out of town and I promise I’ll take the best care of them… I’m more of a dog person than a people person 🫣😅 I currently work from home on my own schedule so dog/pet sitting is perfect for me! My availability is pretty much any time. Mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends. Everything in between. Please note; overnight rates are based on 12-14 hours, overnight. Example 7pm-8am the following day. If you need me to be at your home for a longer period than that, please request an additional day, or add drop in visits. Thank you I want to make sure your dog/dogs feel loved. One of my own doesn’t eat on schedule when I’m out of town because he misses me so much so I want to be the person to make your pups feel loved and comfy. I’ll make sure to spend time with them, not just stop by for a bathroom break. They’ll get cuddles and belly rubs and run a few laps in the yard if that’s what they like. I’ll treat your pet as if they’re my own.

“Always a blessing to have someone as good as Lisa to take care of our Layla who loves going and playing with Lisa’s dog’s. We never hesitate leaving our Layla with her. Book with confidence because your dog will enjoy the stay. Thanks again for a great stay!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs since childhood. Growing up, my family always had at least one cat and one dog in the home and my siblings and I were responsible for caring for these animals. I have always had some sort of pet since then. Currently, I am mother to my pride and joy: an 11-year-old Yorkie. He is an older dog now and sleeps a majority of the day. I am looking for other pets to keep me occupied as I work from home. I will be considering them my new coworkers. 😊 I currently run my business from my apartment. I have a flexible schedule as I work for myself. I have plenty of time to care for dogs and board in my home. I am open to different situations in the home. I live in an apartment building with many dog owners. The apartment is attached to a dog park and there are many larger dog parks in the area.

“Amy did a great job of acclimating Maggie to her home and making her feel welcome. Her house is very dog friendly with lots of play space both inside and out When we first met she asked a lot of questions to understand the needs and challenges of my pet. I highly recommend her and will continue to use her regularly.”

“I would definitely recommend Annie. I was nervous to leave my puppy with a sitter for the first time, but after this experience my anxiety surrounding leaving him decreased. My puppy was happy upon my arrival, I appreciated Annie’s updates, and she respected my wishes. As a bonus, she was super patient with my pup who’s had a ton of medical problems and therefore is not properly trained (yet). We can’t wait to see her again!”

I have plenty of patience for happy, excited puppies, and plenty of love for calm lap dogs (even if they aren’t really lap dogs). I am a stay at home mom of 4 & im in school part time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I’ll be free mostly anytime. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space . I do have dogs on my property, they have their own rooms for sleeping and playing . I live on an end street so not much activity happens on my street, so we’ll be able to talk walks as well . Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
