About: My love for animals started before I can even remember and has been a constant throughout my entire life. I grew up in a home filled with pets, including three Labs, a Beagle, English Springer Spaniel, two cats (both adopted), and two Mini Dachshunds all with their own personalities and temperaments whom brought years of memories. When I was a 20-year-old student at Florida State University, I brought home my own Mini Doxie, Lil Man Lynyrd Skynyrd, who became my absolute best friend for 16.5 wonderful years before peacefully crossing over the Rainbow Bridge to reunite with our other beloved family members—Sasha, Kona, Captain, Charlie, Bob Marley, Oakley, Lucy, and Mighty Jack Jackson. Today, I also help care for my parents' 16-year-old Mini Dachshund, Camo, who has been fully blind since birth (PRA), and was Lynyrd's very best buddy. Over the years, I've been fortunate to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, including those with special needs such as blindness, diabetes, missing limbs, cataracts, and allergies. My special-needs and four (and three) legged friends have always found a special place in my heart. I truly believe that every animal has their own story, personality, and unique needs. I am patient, compassionate, attentive, and understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else's care. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, extra snuggles, medication, or simply a calm and loving companion, I will care for them as if they were one of my own. To me, pets aren't just animals—they're family. ❤️🐾 I work in sales and have the flexibility for drop in’s and also able to accept dogs at my home as well. My Doxie crossed over the rainbow bridge recently, and I miss having furry friends in my home. I cared for my dogs in different ways based on their medical needs, personalities ect… I live in a two story townhome now, and do not currently have any pets, but do have two small young children. Dogs must be family oriented or overnights.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was about 7 years old. I started with caring for my own pets growing up. At age 10, during the summers, I started a dog and cat sitting/walking business with the help of my grandma. It was a huge success and I was very well known and sought after throughout my community. When I was 13, I was hired as a helper for a local company, where I learned how to properly care for and train police K-9s and family pets. This was one of my absolute favorite jobs! Growing up over the years, I have also had many pets of my own, to include larger dogs, such as my beloved German Shepherd named Jesse, as well as smaller dogs, like my sweet little Pug, Mr. Chubbs. I also had the honor of having several cats as well, including a Scottish Fold, named Tucker and a Lynx Point Siamese, named Charlie. I have experience caring for elderly pets as well, to include administering oral medications (pills and suspensions), ear cleaning solutions and otic drops, eye drops, topical creams, etc. I truly adore animals of all kinds and I would be honored to help care for your fur babies whenever needed! I am newer to the local area and own a business, so this allows me the flexibility to provide services throughout the day and week. I would prefer to care for pets in my client's home, but I am able to care for them in my home, if needed. Pets will not be allowed in carpeted areas or on furniture, as I am currently renting. I do have a small fenced in back area with grass and pavers for some outside time but I would mainly be taking dogs for walks throughout my home community as well as in local parks, if that is okay with each owner.
“Cy is a sensitive boy. Tiare has really shown patience and has really taken her time to ensure his comfort. I truly appreciate her ability to read and understand his anxiety and sensitivity to noise and go at his pace. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Glenn is very reliable and responsible, as well as proactive. If there is a problem with the food or the dogs he is sure to let me know. He has done an excellent job with our two dogs, even accommodating the older one with a shorter walk while taking the younger one on a longer walk.”

About: I've worked with animals professionally for 2 years now, and have been a petsitter before that too! I spent a year caring for cats, elderly kitties, and kittens at a shelter – up to 80 felines under my sole care at times! My work consisted of cleaning, feeding, watering, and monitoring health for these furbabies. And of course, loving on them! My other job was caring for Dogs and Cats at a boarding facility. Here i had similar responsibilities, plus walking and playing with dogs! Aswell as elaborate feeding instructions. I have experience administering medications, between pills to asthma inhalers! I just moved across the country, so i have a lot of time in-between my search for another job! Id love to be able to do this fulltime, but alas, i may need to find a more stable income in the future. For now, my schedule is entirely free! I offer pet care inside clients homes, aswell as walking. I can feed, medicate, and keep your pet company! I am also open to working with pets with mild behavioral problems.

About: I've had a dogs my whole life and have always loved taking care of them. I love my family and friends dogs and always treat them like my own with love. I am very genuine and trustworthy and would love to help out taking care of your dogs! I can do anytime and any day of the week besides Thursday from 10-2 because of my class schedule. I am very available and flexible besides that. For my own dog I love to take him on walks and get him outside and I would love to do the same for your pet.

About: What sets me apart is that I've been caring for animals my entire life. I've owned four dogs, three cats, a bird, and a rabbit, giving me experience with a wide variety of pets and personalities. As a child, I even started a dog-walking business in my neighborhood at just 8 years old! Later, I fostered puppies for It's The Pits Rescue in San Diego, gaining experience with young dogs and helping them thrive in a loving environment. Because I work from home and am home most of the day, your pet won't be left alone for long periods. I have a large fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play fetch or frisbee, and get plenty of exercise. Inside, they'll receive lots of attention, affection, and snuggles. I've also pet sat for neighbors and friends over the years and can provide references. I understand that every pet is unique, and I will care for yours as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and am home most of the day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I rarely leave for extended periods, so pets in my care receive lots of attention and supervision rather than being left alone for hours. Whether your pet enjoys playing in the yard, going for walks, or simply relaxing with company, I can easily incorporate their needs into my schedule and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. In my home, pets are treated like family and are never left outside unattended. I have a large, securely fenced yard for supervised playtime, exercise, and potty breaks. Inside, pets have a comfortable, clean environment where they can relax and receive plenty of attention and affection. I follow each pet owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special needs. I understand that every pet is different, and I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I provide lots of supervision, love, and updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
