About: I have had several dogs over the years, SharPei, Bouvier des Flandres, Rescue, Boxer, Basset Hound and Polish Lowland Sheepdog. Loved them all! Will not name a favorite. I only work on Wednesdays. Take Pilates class on Tuesdays and Fridays but with advance notice can be available anytime. I also walk a lot. I live in a gated community where a lot of people have dogs. I am a single female and happy to take the dog out at anytime.
“Megan is a wonderful dog sitter she's reliable our babies love her how she manages to get a picture of Angel the cat says a lot. Thank you for being there for us when we need you.”

About: Hey everyone! My name is Kelsey and I live in Stuart, I have been dog sitting for the past 4 years now with Rover. I've had dogs since I was a kid, sat for others and fostered for a few weeks as well. I have experience with all age ranges of dogs, including giving medications to senior dogs, and dogs that need a little extra care. Looking forward to gaining regular or one time clients! I work part-time at a golf course, shifts are typically 6-8 hours and out early. I work 3-4 shifts a week, aside from that I'll be home with your pet or available for morning/evening drop ins! I do prefer to meet the dog and owner prior to first drop in or walk just to get a better feel for what the dog will require.

About: I have 11 years of experience caring for dogs and have grown up with three dogs of my own. I have helped during two dog births and am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. I can bathe dogs, clean their eyes, trim the hair around their eyes when needed, and make sure they are clean and comfortable. I also enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and giving them lots of love and attention. I always treat every dog like they are part of my own family. (Mandy Experience with small dogs) I have plenty of availability during the week, especially in the mornings and early afternoons. This allows me to give your dog my full attention, whether it’s for walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company. I’m reliable, flexible, and happy to work with your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and will treat your dog as if they were one of my own. I pay close attention to every dog’s individual needs and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

“Met Aaliyah prior to the walk and gave her information on Paco. She was super receptive and reassuring. Day of walk, she arrived on time, communicated well, and even reach out to verify rather than ignore it. Super appreciative of her help. We plan to use her again in the future.”

“Jackie was a total life saver! I’m a travel nurse and I work long hours overnights. Jackie bonded with my girl Tessie (who has her quirks, and is a total puller/jumper!) and worked with my schedule to make sure Tessie was getting walked and exercise before going to bed and first thing in the morning. She went above and beyond (and even left a magnet with a picture of her and Tessie on my fridge!). It was such a comfort to be at work and see my girl out enjoying herself. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, who communicates well, and who gets along with all types of dogs look no further. Thank you again Jackie! We wouldn’t have made it through the past few weeks without you! -Holly & Tessie”

“Marvin is excellent. A good communicator with reasonable services. He’s great with Koda and I appreciate the updates from his rover card after the walk. Will be using him again.”

Louise was great! Needed a sitter last minute before going out of town, messaged a few sitters and received a couple respond but I liked Louise, she was fast at replying, communication was good before and during sitting. She always on time . Thank you for professionalism, flexibility and kindness. I would recommend Louise and now have a go to sitter whenever I need.

First time for Hannah giving my 2 Labs a mid-day walk. Was lucky enough to get her on short notice and she easily accomodated/controlled the younger ones need for attention....Based on my exerience with about 12 different walkers from rover over the last 2 years, I would highly recommend.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
