“Macy is the absolute best!! From the very first time I contacted her, she responded immediately and arranged a meet and greet. This young lady has such a calming demeanor, patience and genuine love for animals. Our dog Marley is 1 year old and was a little shy at first. This was no challenge for Macy, she had such a calm approach with Marley who soon warmed up to her. I wouldn't trust my dog at this point with nobody else. I am so happy we chose Macy because with there being so many dog walkers to choose from, you just never know! I highly recommend her because she is such a joy. Very prompt for Marley's walks, communication, and just a genuine nice person who goes above and beyond to give you superior service!! Keep up the good work Macy and for taking care of our Marley!! It doesn't get any better than you🙂”

About: I’ve always loved animals since I was young, watching all the pets in my neighborhood starting at 10 years old. I have over 100 volunteer hours at vet rescue clinic. I have 1 senior dog that I understand the care that comes along with that and the need of wanting to leave them in good hands when you aren’t home. I also have another younger high energy dog that comes with the need of many walks, paddleboard rides, and playtime to get all their energy out. Big dogs are not a problem as also I grew up with a mastiff. I am currently a university student, so I have plenty of free time when I am not in class. Most of my free time is in the afternoon or weekends. Just message me what works best for you and I am sure I will have time to accommodate that. When caring for your animals at your home I will treat them as they are my own pets. I want to be sure to match their routine so they will be comfortable at all times. Fresh water will always be available, along with tons of love and affection. I will be sure to keep you update as well with photos and text messages so you know your dog is happy while you are not there. My goal is to provide not just basic care, but exceptional care making sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved until you return home.
“Katie was punctual and professional in walking our Maxie Pie and we are grateful to her for our not having to worry about Max’s potty breaks. Many thanks Katie. We’ll call on you again.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Malia has been absolutely amazing. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she’s looking after. She made the whole process easy and stress-free, and I always felt confident knowing Bubbles was in good hands. She pays attention to the little details, follows instructions well, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and dependable. Will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have over 14 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, along with 8 years of dedicated pet sitting. I currently work at a dog park and dog daycare, where I supervise group play, handle different temperaments, and ensure a safe, structured environment. I’ve cared for everything from extra large breeds to small dogs, including puppies and seniors. I also have experience with rehomed dogs and understand they may need extra patience and consistency. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic training, and maintaining routines to keep dogs happy and well-balanced. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently work part-time at a dog park and dog daycare, where I spend my time caring for and supervising dogs of all sizes and energy levels. This has made me very comfortable with structured schedules, feeding times, walks, and consistent care. Because I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet sitting, including drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays when needed. I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they get the attention, exercise, and routine they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to behavior and surroundings, making sure pets are always secure on walks, properly supervised, and never put in unsafe situations. With my experience working at a dog park and dog daycare, I’m confident in reading body language and handling different temperaments calmly and safely. I treat every home with respect—keeping things clean, organized, and just as you left them. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I believe they will see that I will care for their dogs as I do my own. My boy "Jax" in the picture, he took his last run on 12-17-2023. Miss him dearly. RIP My angel! I grew up with Poms and went on to the large breeds once I was on my own. Germans shepherds, Newfoundland, English Mastiffs, Afghan Hound and a Great Dane. I am a dog and animal lover PERIOD. I really should have been a vet, vet tech or maybe even a zoologist! But I'm happy just to spend time with the dogs. I have house broken and trained all my dogs personally to basic commands and even some tricks. Some dogs are verbal and some are visual. Not all dogs are the same! That's why I LOVE them SO much!! ~ Reba I own a small Swimming Pool Service Company and have for 20 years. I no longer work in the field I occasionally go troubleshooting jobs or meet with new clients. So I'm semi-retired and home quite a bit I don't really go much of anywhere. I have a fenced-in yard, bordered by bamboo and lots of sniffing/hunting areas. However, they are never left unattended. I'm always outside with them. There is also a pool for the swimmers and a grassy area for just for playing.
“Bernadette is wonderful! She is great with my pups Marty & Bernie. Bernadette was extremely helpful when I moved to the area and was settling in and needed someone to walk the pups while I work. 5/5 would recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ocean Breeze Park
She was very understanding so my dog and how he isn’t the best behaved when I’m around. It’s was comforting to know that she is good with my type of dog who is over protective of me and is a squishy with other when I’m not. She is very polite and respectful and isn’t afraid to ask questions.

Tiffany was wonderful with our fur baby! She was very accommodating, punctual, and our dog loved her. She kept us posted on their walks. How far they walked, where they walked, and what he accomplished. She also sent a picture of the dog at the end of the walks. We would highly recommend Tiffany, and will be requesting her to take care of our dog in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
