“Macy did a wonderful job caring for my two dogs and one cat. I felt that they were in good hands, and they were healthy and happy when I returned home. She kept me well informed with great photos of everyone. I will definitely call on her again.”

“Rachael was a great relief to me knowing my cats were well cared for and loved during my trip. She kept me updated on the cats and sent cute pictures of them. Rachael always cleaned up and made the areas inviting and neat. I am so happy for her help and glad to have someone I can rely on in the future!! She is wonderful and someone that anybody would be confident to have caring for their pets.”

“Tiffany did great with the home visits! She kept me informed, was on time, and very sweet with my 3 pups (one of which is very large and difficult.) I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m a physical therapist during the week and available for dog walking on weekends. I can also help during the week early in the morning. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve cared for many different pets, including dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, and a hedgehog. I previously had a deaf dog with special needs, which taught me patience and how to provide extra care when needed. I currently have an almost 12-year-old dog, so I’m comfortable with senior dogs as well. I’d love the opportunity to give your dog a safe, fun walk and the attention they deserve! I currently attend college and am on the soccer team, so I have plenty of gaps between my schedule, but nothing concrete enough for a full time job. I have large gaps between classes during the week and free weekends for the most part n I cannot bring dogs into my own apartment, as I am in a temporary living environment that does not allow pets. However, I am willing to help in any ways I can.
“Jackie was so great with my girls while we were gone! The pictures she sent us were absolutely fantastic and the dogs were smiling in the pictures ? it was nice to know they were being so well taken care of! Thank you so much!”

“Amanda was absolutely wonderful! We’ve tried several dog walkers through Rover in the past and haven’t always had the best luck, but this experience was completely different. Amanda was patient, kind, and so loving with our little yorkie poo, Mali. She made us feel completely at ease knowing Mali was in such good hands. We can’t recommend Amanda enough and will definitely be booking with her again for any future needs!”

“Billie was wonderful with Mali! She took great care of her while we were away, and we could relax knowing our pup was in good hands. Some visits were even extended for extra belly rubs—Mali loved every minute of it! It was a comfort to know she was being so well loved while we were gone.”

“Lorianne did a great job taking care of our cat, Winnie, while we were away for 5 days. Winnie can be anxious, but Lorianne was patient with Winnie. By day 2, Winnie was rubbing on her. Lorianne sent daily pictures and updates. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Catherine, a lifelong dog lover based in East Port Saint Lucie! I grew up surrounded by dogs and truly believe they make life brighter and more joyful. Not long ago, I said goodbye to my beloved Shi Tzu, with whom I shared countless long, adventurous walks—so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will treat your pet like family. I offer reliable dog walking and in-home pet care for pups of all sizes (0–101+ lbs). Walks can be tailored to your dog’s needs, from quick potty breaks to fun, energetic strolls of 20–45 minutes. I’m also happy to provide plenty of playtime, belly rubs, fresh water, and updates to keep you connected while you’re away. Since I currently work from home, I’m flexible and can accommodate early morning, midday, or evening walks. Weekends are completely open, so your pet will get the attention they deserve. Whether your dog is shy, energetic, or a seasoned adventurer, I’m here to make sure they’re safe, happy, and cared for. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! I currently work from home, which allows me to offer flexible care for your pets. I’m available for early morning, midday, or evening walks during the week, as well as full availability on weekends. My experience walking my adventurous Shi Tzu taught me to tailor walks to each dog’s needs—typically ranging from 20 to 45 minutes. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m in your home or welcoming your dog into mine, I will treat your space and your pet with care and respect. In your home, I’ll follow your routines and preferences to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. In my home, I provide a clean, safe, and pet-friendly environment where your dog’s needs and habits are fully catered to. I take safe, scenic routes for walks, avoid busy streets, and ensure every outing and visit is tailored to your pet’s well-being and happiness.

About: I have over 14 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, along with 8 years of dedicated pet sitting. I currently work at a dog park and dog daycare, where I supervise group play, handle different temperaments, and ensure a safe, structured environment. I’ve cared for everything from extra large breeds to small dogs, including puppies and seniors. I also have experience with rehomed dogs and understand they may need extra patience and consistency. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic training, and maintaining routines to keep dogs happy and well-balanced. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently work part-time at a dog park and dog daycare, where I spend my time caring for and supervising dogs of all sizes and energy levels. This has made me very comfortable with structured schedules, feeding times, walks, and consistent care. Because I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet sitting, including drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays when needed. I’m able to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they get the attention, exercise, and routine they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to behavior and surroundings, making sure pets are always secure on walks, properly supervised, and never put in unsafe situations. With my experience working at a dog park and dog daycare, I’m confident in reading body language and handling different temperaments calmly and safely. I treat every home with respect—keeping things clean, organized, and just as you left them. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Ocean Breeze Park
Rachel is an awesome pet sitter! She genuinely loves animals of all kinds (I have a cat, bird, and rabbit) and she goes above and beyond to care for them. My cat is 16 and a very picky eater and she stayed extra time to make sure he ate and kept his food down. I also had to unexpectedly extend my time away and she volunteered to go to the grocery store to pick up more greens for my bunny! She’s a hard-working, dependable, caring person and I will absolutely use her again the next time I go away.

Jessica did great her first time with my cat and bunny. Her communication is impeccable and she gave them their full half hour. I couldn’t even tell I’d been gone when I got home— no messes to clean and the boys were content. I will be booking Jessica in the future for sure! 😻

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ocean Breeze Park. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
