During walks I am focused on not only exercising your dog, but also ensuring they have a fun time! If allowed, I will play with your dog to ensure that they are ready for a nap before I go. I am comfortable with big dogs, little dogs, loud dogs, shy dogs, and jumpy dogs! I am also comfortable with dog reactive dogs. I also have experience caring for cats and other pets such as fish, birds, and reptiles. I personally have two dogs and have had a flock of ten chickens. I have experience with eye drops and pilling dogs so if needed I will gladly do that. If your dog requires a shot, I will need to be shown how to administer it.

Please let me know about any routines you have at home so that I can ensure your dog is as comfortable as possible. Such as feeding/medications/and special care that they require. Also, please inform me of any behavioral quirks, any health concerns to keep an eye on, and their usual mood. If anything seems off during the time I am caring for your pet, I will be sure to let you know so that they can have the best care possible.
A typical day
Each pet is unique and so I will be sure to adjust to your pets needs. For higher energy dogs, I usually start with a brief play session followed by a walk. Otherwise I will start with a walk for most dogs. Next if required, feeding and looking for any messes to clean up. Before leaving I will provide your pet with whatever they usually get before you would leave the house and ensure that I have locked everything. If preferred, I can leave a paper note mentioning what we did during the visit if you don’t want to use the app.

Hi! I have experience working and handling dogs, cats, parrots and chickens, reptiles, and fish ever since I started helping my sister way back when I was a child (15 years!). Ever since, pet care has been something I enjoy doing and can proudly say I am great at! I have experience with security systems, gated communities, and of course all the unique quirks pets can have. Whether you need a daily dog walker, a once in a while cat sitter, or an emergency reptile keeper, I can help. In addition to pet care, I will ensure your property is taken care of while you are away. Mail + packages will be brought in, trash taken out, plants watered, lights and AC adjusted, and any accidents will be cleaned up as directed. Message me to schedule a free Meet & Greet (about 20 minutes) to make sure your pet(s) and I are a good fit before booking. During this meeting, we will cover pet care and routines, collet keys, cover house information, emergency contacts, and most importantly I will meet with your pet(s) to help them be comfortable with me. I am looking forward to meet you!

Macy was wonderful with our dog Holly. She gave her the extra care and attention she needs being a senior dog. I highly recommend Macy and we will be using her a lot.
She was very understanding so my dog and how he isn’t the best behaved when I’m around. It’s was comforting to know that she is good with my type of dog who is over protective of me and is a squishy with other when I’m not. She is very polite and respectful and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
