Pet care experience

Dependable, flexible, trustworthy!

Hi, I’m a 30-year-old pet sitter based in Florida! I’ve been caring for pets for most of my life—starting at age 14 with family and friends’ animals and continuing professionally on Rover for the past 5 years. Two years ago I moved to Florida, and I’m excited to keep helping local pets and their owners. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all kinds, including caring for my parents’ two Westies (now 7 and 5 years old) back home. I’m also very comfortable with cats and have looked after many over the years. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just providing calm companionship, I treat every pet like my own and always follow your routines and preferences. Availability: I work a standard Monday–Friday 9–5 schedule, so I’m not available for drop-ins or walks during those hours. I can offer a quick mid-day (lunchtime) walk of up to 30 minutes on weekdays. I’m much more flexible evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays—perfect for overnight sits, longer daytime visits, or weekend care. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and safe. I’d love to meet you and your furry (or feathered!) family member—feel free to reach out with any questions!

Safety, trust & environment

I provide care both in clients’ homes and (when appropriate) in my own home, always matching the service to what works best for the pet and the owner. In your home (drop-in visits, dog walking, or house-sitting): I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding schedule, medication, walk routes, playtime, and any special preferences you share. I keep them comfortable in their own space, send photo and video updates, and make sure the house is left secure and tidy. For overnight house-sitting I’m fully present in your home so your pet has consistent companionship and the least disruption possible. In my home (if boarding is arranged): I create a calm, supervised environment with a dedicated space for your pet. They receive individual attention, regular potty breaks/walks, playtime, and the same feeding and care routine they follow at home. I never leave pets unsupervised for long stretches and always separate animals when needed for safety and comfort. No matter the location, I treat every pet with patience and respect, follow all instructions carefully, and keep you updated so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.

Megan was amazing! The cats loved her and she did well with giving my kitty meds. He hates that. The photos she took of them helped put my mind at ease for my time away.

Schedule

Pet care fits into my routine around my full-time job. I work Monday through Friday from 9–5, so during those hours I’m only available for a quick mid-day (lunchtime) walk of up to 30 minutes. Outside of that, I’m much more flexible — early mornings, evenings after 5, weekends, and holidays work well for me. That means I can easily handle overnight stays, longer daytime visits, weekend boarding, or regular evening walks. I plan my week in advance and always leave buffer time so I’m never rushing between clients. You’ll get consistent, reliable care that fits around both of our schedules.
