“I had to take medical leave out of state and wanted my fur baby nearby for the month I would be unavailable. I interviewed three prospects in the area and settled on Alondra due to her consistency and confidence. I was not wrong. Alondra and her husband Franco and their two boys soon became GOATs second family. Their dog Alika, his BFF. They were so good about walking per my instructions early in the mornings and late evenings to ensure the Florida heat was not an issue. In addition, I received and abundance of videos and pictures and texts throughout every day. She stayed available to receive phone calls as well. Alondra, along with her entire family provided the bestest care for my baby boi. He's a dalmatian and they are very high energy dogs, so she worked hard to keep his energy levels in check with daily walls and playtime in their beautiful backyard. We have actually become friends through this experience and I could not be more excited to share their dedication and love. If you ever need to take a break from life and want an affordable and extremely caring experience for yourself and your pup, I highly recommend leaving your pup with Alondra and her family!!!”

“Rosa was amazing with Piper! She kept me updated with photos and messages the whole time, and it was clear he felt comfortable and loved in her care. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time playing with her family and other dogs. I’d absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend 😊”

“Anna was great! She was very responsive to the inquiry, price was reasonable, and the location was convenient. Our Bucky was well cared for, and came home happy and calm. We definitely recommend Anna. Five stars.”

“Daniel was great! He took great care of our 2 fur babies! We were out of town for 10 days and he sent frequent updates and pics to let us know our girls were fine. I would definitely use him again! Thank you!”

“Maiden is such a great caregiver for our Oliver. He is a senior dog at 12 years and has senior needs that need extra care and attention. Maiden is very nurturing and caring and keeps us updated daily on how he is doing. We had an extended vacation this time of 16 days and were completely at ease with Maiden caring for Oliver. We would highly recommend Maiden and will be using her for all our care for Oliver while we travel in the future.”

“Cely and Joshua were so warm and accommodating! I received so many videos and photos that made me miss Mikey less. They took such good care of him, he played with their dogs and Cely even washed Mikey's favorite blanket. Couldn't recommend them more!”

“Sahar sent pictures while I was away. Sahar has a large fenced in back yard. Buddy had fun running around the yard. Buddy is a playful happy dog and he had fun playing with the children. I would recommend her and use her again. I was very happy”

“Catherine was wonderful with Magnus! We got a steady stream of pictures and Magnus very quickly became comfortable in his holiday home. 😁. Thanks very much to Catherine and hubby for taking such good care of furry little fella.”

“Chelsea was an amazing dog sitter! She and her partner were incredibly kind, reliable, and very flexible with our schedule, which we truly appreciated. Both of our dogs were well cared for and happy, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in great hands. I would absolutely book with Chelsea again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter”

“I highly recommend Nikki and Michael to care for dogs. They are amazing caregivers and have a perfect home and yard for our dogs to visit. Our dogs loved running in the yard and were happy.”

“Such a pleasant and welcoming experience for my last minute booking. Great communication, lots of photos and even, meal and playtime updates. I'll definitely be back!”

“Lulu’s recent stay with Meghan, was just as wonderful as her first stay, albeit shorter. Lulu adores Meghan and her husband and being with her newest friend Honey - Meghan’s Cavalier. She was cared for lovingly and responsibly. I recommend her 100% !!!!”

“I have nothing but positive things to say! I have never felt so comfortable leaving my pet with someone. The updates and service is great I would highly recommend for boarding to anyone!”

“Absolutely recommend Mozelle!! She was sweet when we first met and she updated us with pictures and videos of our pup having fun. When we brought him home he was happy to see the kids…but if he could talk, we felt he was trying to tell us how much fun he had and how well he was taken care of. Thank you Mozelle. It’s hard nowadays to trust in a complete stranger to care for a member of our family, but you totally treated our pup like family. And that means so much to us. ✌🏼 🐶”

“Debra was an amazing Dog Sitter and I definitely will use her again. Her place was immaculate and beautiful. Shaggy seemed to really enjoy sitting on her balcony overlooking the beautiful area she lives in! Anyway, I will trust her with my pet again thank you Debra at five stars!”

“Edwin and Jannina are absolutely amazing. I’ve been having a mix of extra work and extra social activities the past few months and they have always been available for my little Bear Bear. He has the best time when he goes to see them. They always keep him happy and entertained, even though he’s a very high energy dog! They are very thorough and detail oriented and their house is very clean. They have also been very accommodating and I cannot stress enough how great they have been to Bear, would give 100 stars if I could!”

“Sharon was excellent! I was able to bring my dog over beforehand to make sure he was comfortable and she had no problem with me stopping by. She had a few dogs the same weekend my dog stayed which is great because he loves to play! We exchanged numbers and I was able to check in to make sure he was okay. She is very nice and seems to really love the pets and treat them as her own!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Stuart
Deborah and her husband are truly lovely people. Their cozy home is in a nice small gated neighborhood that’s ideal for dog walks. Deborah communicates wonderfully and always sends the sweetest photos. It warms my heart every time Bandit lights up with excitement the moment he sees her! This was my first time using Rover, and the experience was excellent. I highly recommend Deborah- I feel confident that Bandit is loved and well cared for with her. ❤️

Anne is an absolute gem. She took amazing care of my doggo Rosy, was communicative, sent pics, and welcomed Rosy into her pack. It is such a relief to find someone you can trust to take care of your fur family. I couldn’t recommend Anne more. If I could give more stars on this app, I absolutely would!!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
