“Raelin is amazing. She does a wonderful job taking care of Cooper. He really likes her and is very relaxed around her. She does a great job of sending photos and updates.”

“I highly recommend Isabelle for any pet care needs. She did an excellent job taking care of my dog throughout the entire weekend, including feeding, playing, and managing his outdoor needs. I am very pleased with her service and would recommend her to anyone looking for reliable care for their pets.”

“Julia is wonderful! This was my first time using Rover and Julia did a great job! Followed my instructions for care of my pets, sent daily pictures and kept me updated on my pets health. I will definitely be using Julia's service again for my next vacation. 5 stars!!”
“She is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! Not only did she take excellent care of Sunny, but she also went above and beyond to give attention and love to all of my pets. She was incredibly understanding and patient with my dog, who had recently undergone surgery, and she made sure to administer her medications exactly as needed. It was clear from the beginning that she genuinely cares about animals and treats them as if they were her own. Knowing that my pets were in such caring and trustworthy hands gave me so much peace of mind. Without a doubt, she will be my first choice whenever I need someone to care for my pets. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone responsible, loving, and truly dedicated to their pets!”

“Cindy was so amazing with my dog and my cat! Absolutely above and beyond, My dog had an accident right before she was scheduled to sit for me and was extremely accommodating with giving him his medication. Will 100% consider again for future trips!”

“Yaretzi or Nina was very punctually and I didn't have a worry with my fur babies while she was watching them. The only thing I would suggest is that she be more attentive to my dogs in the 30 minute window of the drop in service”

“Jaycee was great to work with! We appreciated her enthusiasm to work with our cats. Jaycee was very flexible and communicative with us which made it a breeze to work with her. She is very experienced with cats which made us more at ease with having her take care of them. She even persisted with attempting to give our grumpy old cat medicine. We would absolutely recommend Jaycee and use her services again in the future.”

About: I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, and I am also open to providing care for cats. I am happy to assist with any needs your pet may have. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important pets are to their families, and I will treat your pets with the same care, attention, and love that I give my own. I am currently a full time student working in public school. I leave around 7am and I get off at 2:00/2:30pm Monday-Friday. I am available to walk or do drop ins after 2:30pm. If I am house sitting/dropping in I may have to arrive/leave sooner depending on how far you are from me. On the weekends I work from 6:50am-11:30am and 1pm-5pm. I have three dogs at home so if you are looking to board you will need to bring your dog to my residence to make sure they can be around my dogs. Your dog has to be able to stay in a crate for 4-6 hours while I’m a work. My grandparents will give them a bathroom break in the afternoon. I will follow your schedule, including feeding times, walks, and any required medications. I am committed to giving your pets attentive care and plenty of affection.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Roseland. On Rover:
- 99% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
