Since 2016, I have gained professional experience through animal shelters, veterinary hospitals, and caring for pets for veterinary clients. I have experience caring for pets with medical needs, senior pets, puppies and kittens, and those with behavioral challenges. Communication is very important to me, so I provide updates, photos, and videos when requested. I also treat my clients' homes with the same respect I would my own. Before the end of a house-sitting stay, I typically wash any bedding and towels I used, clean up after myself, and leave the home tidy so clients can return to both happy pets and a well-cared-for home.

About: You could probably say I enjoy being around dogs more than most people. I consider dogs angels. I love to spoil them. My two girls are very spoiled. I have always had a dog. At one time I had 4 large dogs. I know what distress looks like and I know animal safeguarding. My husband and I have a deep bond with animals. We will care for your dog just as if they were ours. I’m a retired teacher and I love and truly understand dogs. I will love your pet as if he/she were my own. I’ve done all kinds of medications including kidney care involving injections and oral medicine. I have a fenced in yard and a safe place to walk dogs. I have two female Shitzus and they are very very friendly. I have had puppies, teenage dogs, and seniors. We only care for one families’ dog(s) at a time so they receive the care they deserve. We will send lots of pictures of your dog during our time with us and we will always follow your care instructions.

This gives everyone their own safe, comfortable space to relax without any direct interaction. Your pet will have plenty of room to get comfortable, along with lots of love, attention, cuddles (if they want them!), playtime, and maybe a treat or two. I’m big on making animals feel at home and keeping their normal routine whenever possible. When I leave for work, I even like to leave the TV on so they have some background noise and don’t feel like the house is completely quiet. Most importantly, I’ll follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, treats, medications, routines, boundaries, and anything else that helps your fur baby feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾💕
