It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

About: I have had pets all my life, both dogs and cats. I have taken care of babies to seniors. Whatever your pet needs I can help. My own pets have their own weird quirks (like my cat Molly she loves to have her food thrown one piece at a time so she can chase it and eat it) so let me know what your pet needs and I will do that for them while you need to be away. I work remote most of the time so I can easily drop in to check in on your furry loved ones or if you need me to stay overnight I can help there too. I will stay at your place overnight to care for your pet while you are gone beginning with the time you want me there. If you need me to stay during the day as well I usually can, but I may need to run back to my house to check on my furbabies too a few times during the day.

About: Since a young age, I've always had animals around me, from hamsters, ferrets, bunnies, to bigger animals like cats and dogs. Interacting and caring for animals is my #1 hobby. Currently, I have a cat and dog named Bella and Freddy A.K.A Moose and Bread. First thing every morning I feed them breakfast and take Bella for a walk. I can never sleep in anyways because Freddy will be up bright and early pawing my face at 6 am waiting for his food. The rest of the day consists of playing, grooming, cleaning the litterbox, and walking Bella every hour. I don't see these as "chores" because I like to do these things, it's like taking care of a friend. Then comes dinner, and we do it all over again tomorrow, bright and early. I know it's difficult to trust people with your family, so feel free to reach out for any other information, thanks! :) I'm currently working full-time, however, I am out of work after 2 pm daily so I have the rest of the day/night to care for your pets. Typically when I dog/cat sit for friends and family I spend most, if not all the day with the pets. My dog has separation anxiety, so I try to spend as much time with her throughout the day as possible. In terms of a pet owner's house, I will pack lunch/ dinner with me and do errands prior to dog/cat sitting.
About: Oh how i love cats:):) I rescued my cat rick, who has recently passed away 7 years ago after finding him on the street. My younger cat janis was all alone at the pet store so I had to get her. Though dogs are great, cats are truly my spririt animal and would love to meet yours!
About: We are willing to do whatever needs to be done to make your best friend comfortable. Someone is home at all times. We have had dogs for the last 15 years from puppies to seniors, including special needs. Four of our dogs have been dachshunds,one was a bloodhound, and one was a pitbull mix. Three dachshunds and the bloodhound now reside in the home. The bloodhound is a 6 year old female, the dachshunds are 7,2 and a 1 year old males. We have a very harmonious pack atmosphere. We believe that exercise keeps a pet happy! We are well acquainted with crate training, clicker training, and positive reinforcement. Our family members have dogs of various ages and breeds which spend the time with our pack so they are used to visitors! We look forward to meeting you and your doggy! I work full time, my wife does not work so she is home all day with the dogs. The only time we would leave the dogs is to go to the grocery store. We have a fenced yard and lots of toys for them to chew, we encourage tearing up toys and playing. We also allow the dogs to be on the furniture and beds.

We were dog sitting previously in Canada while living there, we would be happy to provide you with additional references. We have the friendliest 7 year old Irish setter who absolutely loves being around people and dogs (He spends a lot of his time at Fred Popp dog park running in circles for an hour). He loves both large and small dogs and he does not seem to care if they are female or male. When pet sitting at your home, my dog will stay home with his other family members . We work from home so were always around. We love walking and being outdoors so your pet will get lots of exercise (I can track the pets walks on my phone and send updates and photos so you know your buddy is having a great time). We will always discuss the pets needs before caring for them as every pet is different and deserves the staycation that's best for them. We will discuss the pets' needs with the owner and come up with a plan that they are comfortable. (I'll do my best to stick to the same routine they have at home )

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and animals all my life. I’ve taken care of all ages and some with special needs. I would personally say I’m very good with animals. Always responsible and careful. I’m currently working a part time job and in college and I’m always off every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I work Monday-Wednesday I start at 2 and end at 6. I will have plenty of time to care for your pets. Before booking with me please let me know if there are any special needs such as behavior or things that may trigger your dog. Thank you! About: I have been an absolute animal lover from a very young age and grew up with a dog and two cats. I worked at a Dog training and boarding center as a kennel attendant where I fed and cared for dogs everyday, attending to special needs such as distributing medicines and dietary restrictions. I also occasionally assisted my boss in training the dogs and cared for a litter of newborn Labrador retriever puppies! On top of this experience I volunteered at the MSPCA for a semester in college and had dog sat for two families in high school. I adore dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages! I will be in Palm Bay for the summer and don’t have any schedule conflicts at the moment! I am very flexible and can work mornings, afternoons, and evenings 7 days a week. :) I take the time to understand each animal’s personality and letting them warm up to me so I can ensure they are comfortable during their time with me. I always double check doors & gates, feeding schedules, and give consistent bathroom breaks. I will treat your home with respect and follow any specific instructions you have. Most importantly, I am always be gentle, patient, and loving with all animals!

“Gail was excellent! She kept us posted and up to date routinely. We were happy to work with her. She was friendly and we could feel that she really loves dogs. It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

Also, my husband and I are nervous about leaving our baby with someone for a week during Christmas if he can't handle socializing appropriately.
