It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

About: I’m an animal lover who has owned various small and big dogs, eg Yorkies, Labs, etc., for most of my life. I’ve also owned a few indoor only cats over the years. I work from home (M-F) 95% of the time unless I’m traveling for work/holiday, which is about twice a year. I’m also available for most of the major holiday seasons. I have a home, with a large fenced in yard. My sweet Thumper, a 14 yrs., Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, recently passed on April 24, 2026. My primary goal is to spend as much quality time with your pet in the comfort of their home. For boarding, my home is clean and tidy with lots of comfortable dog beds and backyard space for zoomies! Currently, we're home to Guinevere, the mild-mannered, 6 year-old rescued mutt. We do have an 11-year-old hooman "puppy" who is just as loving and respectful of animals as we are. We will love and care for your fur-babies as if they were our very own. We are home almost all day, every day, so your pet will never be alone. I homeschool our son, and my husband works from home. Your pet will have ample opportunities to play outside in our 1/2 acre back yard. Our neighborhood is very quiet with houses situated on ~acre lots. We have neighbors with dogs, but they usually just run over to the fence to say hello and then go about their business. In our home, your fur-babies can roam freely, and they will have access to our 1/2, partially shaded, completely fenced-in back yard as often as they need. If your dog is one who prefers walks, our peaceful neighborhood has lots of places to explore; there is a nice park 1/2 mile away where they can sniff around where all of the turtles and ducks like to hang out. Pups who stay with us overnight are welcome to stay in their crate (if that's what they prefer), anywhere in the house, and, likely, on one of our beds.

My favorite part about working with dogs is being able to run and play with them. I am available early mornings and late nights. I also love trail walking/running, so I'll make sure your dog gets the exercise they need! I follow a rigorous routine of walking/running with my own dogs, and will take the same care with yours! Based on your pets exercise level, we can walk/run for up to an hour as needed. Caring for other dogs involves building trust through playtime, walks, and of course, treats! Making sure your dog is comfortable on walks and overnights is the top most priority.

About: I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits and have been a caretaker on another platform for child and pet services. I am also comfortable giving medication to animals. I am attentive to animal needs and communicate with clients quickly. I have two kittens Dexter and Maui and one senior cat,Bob, who has daily medication. I enjoy playing with pets and getting to know their quirky personalities. I always follow client instructions and ask for further clarification if I need more information. I am comfortable with all breeds and multiple animals. I have medical background, but I am currently in school so I am not working in the hospitals. When I had 3 cocker spaniels, I cooked them meat with green beans and rice, so I am capable of preparing meals as well. I can stop by multiple times day or night. Also, available to house sit and will care for multiple pets. Currently not working so I have an open schedule I have two cats in my home, so I cannot board any animals, but I’d be happy to care for your fur baby at your residence

“Gail was excellent! She kept us posted and up to date routinely. We were happy to work with her. She was friendly and we could feel that she really loves dogs. It was our first time using Rover to find a dog sitter. We had a more peculiar situation with a larger size timid dog. It helped knowing she was okay with just sitting only our dog for a few days since it seemed other sitters sometimes sat multiple dogs at once. A sitter with a fenced in yard was something we wanted to have, since in case walking our timid dog potentially was a challenge, the fenced in yard was an alternative for him doing his business. He warmed up well enough though. She was local to us so we didn’t have to drive too far. It was awesome she accepted a bigger dog since some sitters don’t. She had competitive rates at the time of listing in comparison to other Rover sitters that we were looking at. Overall if needed we could see ourselves requesting future bookings again.”

“We were going on vacation for 2 weeks and our original plan fell apart, and thats when I found Caesar here on Rover. What caught my eye was that one of his reviews said that their dogs were tired after their stay, and with 2 Boston Terrier, that was all I needed to read and so I booked. Right away, my mind was at ease, our meet and greet was wonderful, lots of room and ready for you fur-baby. The best part was daily photos, video and wonderful stories of their activities and adventures, that my husband and I would enjoy reading every night at dinner.
