“Christina was awesome with my dogs, being aware about many recommendations that one of them needed. She sent me pictures making me feel comfortable about how they were (it was our first time requiring such services) and paid attention on every detail of them.”

“I’ve had a great experience with Ana! My dogs liked her immediately during our meet and greet, and I could tell she knew her way around bigger dogs. Communication was super straightforward and fast - she even asked how often I want updates, which I really appreciate. Ramses was very relaxed when I came home after Ana’s visit. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for many years and now have two sweet cats that my kids absolutely adore. I miss having a dog in the house, so I love the chance to care for other people’s pups. Your pets will get plenty of exercise, attention, and love—treated just like part of our family while you’re away. On Fridays I work from home, which means I get to spend extra time with your pets. My routine includes morning potty breaks or playtime, a midday walk for fresh air and exercise, and plenty of cuddle or play breaks in between. In the evenings, I make sure pets get another walk or play session before settling in. I love having a furry buddy around while I work—it keeps me moving and makes the day brighter. Your pets will feel right at home here. I have a spacious house with a yard and a friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for walks. My two cats are used to being around dogs, and my children adore animals and know how to be gentle and safe with them. It’s a warm, caring environment where your pets will be loved, comfortable, and well cared for until you return.

Your furry friend will have activity, company, and love while under my care! ☺️ 👩🏻💻 Working from home full time gives me the flexibility to easily fit pet care into my day, allowing me to provide regular attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. “Maiah is absolutely wonderful! We cannot recommend her enough. My husband and I hired her to help with our german shepherd (also named Maya, lol) on our wedding day and I truly don't know what we would have done without her. She helped transport her to and from the hotel & venue, corral her before and during the ceremony, took her for walks and bathroom breaks, made sure she was comfy back at the hotel, dealt with my annoying family, so much. Maya absolutely loved her and Maiah dealt with the chaos of the day SO well and was so flexible with us. We will use her again in the future without a doubt.”

“Kristine was awesome with my cat Winnie. She can get scared with new faces but Kristine was kind and gentle with her. 10/10 would book with her again!”

“Kelsey provided superb care during drop-in visits for our two dogs over a long weekend. We will definitely be requesting her services the next time we need drop-in visits!”

“Thank you so much Erica for taking care of our Luna while we were out of town. Our Luna is a bit anxious but Erica gave her time and patience until she came around. She loved her belly rubs! We appreciate you and definitely recommend!”

“Jeremy was an amazing cat sitter! Both my cats were immediately comfortable and really grew to like Jeremy’s daily visits and play time. Super responsive and always sending lots of pics for me to check in on- it’s was such a relief to have them in Jeremy’s care. Highly recommend!!!”

“Grateful for Aiden and all she did for us while we were out of town. It was a relief to know my cat was so well cared for and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aiden to anyone. I'm not even sure my cat is happy we're back - I think she misses Aiden 😊.”

About: I have grown up with Golden Retrievers my whole life as my dad hunted with them and trained them for Field trials. We always had three in our home. Once we even had a litter of puppies and there is nothing better than puppy kisses. I personally have had two Black labs, one that was so content to lounge and be a couch potato and my current lab at 8 years old fools everyone into thinking she is 2 or 3 with how active she is. Because of her I understand the importance of walks and her needing lots of exercise, new sights and smells. I have a flexible work schedule and typically only work 3 days a week so I can be there to ensure your pup gets what they need. Happy to play in the yard or walk as needed to make sure your pup is content. Just let me know what their rules are and I'm happy to follow to ensure they are happy and healthy.
“Melainie is great with Trixie! She comes to let her out while I'm at work and I love getting the updates and photos during their visits 🥰 Trixie can be shy with new people and she's taken to Melainie so, so well!”

“Stephen and Amelie are the best! They take excellent care of our babies and our home when we’re away and make us feel completely comfortable when we need to travel without the pups. Our dogs love them too!”

“Dawn was super sweet and caring for our furbabies. She stopped by ahead of time to meet the gang prior to her drop in visits. She asked great questions and listened to our wishes for her visits. We have a blind dog that needed extra care and she took right to him. He can be challenging but Dawn came to him with great energy and he did not even grumble! She was prompt, courteous and kept us updated on the kids while we were away. I would highly recommend Dawn to anyone needing someone to drop by or dog sit for them! She was simply amazing... 5 STARS!”

Sydney helps me by letting my 14 year old dog out while I’m working. He really likes her and I do, too! She is reliable, helpful, gives him treats, and makes it possible for me to work my full day without coming home to accidents. She just understands him and his limitations as a sweet old guy. 🐶🤎

Lexi was a very dependable dog sitter while we were away for the weekend. She was kind and patient with my doggie who can be a little lazy, she checked in on time and sent details and photos in a timely fashion. I felt that my doggo, Mama Zoe, was very safe with Lexi. Thank you, Lexi!

Cindy had been wonderful! She asked questions about Vladimir’s schedule, behaviors, even where he likes to sleep. She pays close attention to directions and details and is an excellent communicator! I feel very comfortable leaving Vladimir in her care. I know he will be loved on, cared for, and is safe. Vladimir loved her immediately and we’re lucky to have found her!

Cosmo was in really great shape. Emily gave lots of feedback, and really eased my concerns. Cosmo had Diarrhea when she started taking care of him, but Emily was very good at taking care of him, and he was fine when we got home. She was great at giving me updates.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
