About: I’ve been a devoted animal lover and pet owner for as long as I can remember. From dogs and cats to caring for pets with unique personalities and needs, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Currently, I share my home with a lovable, mischievous hound mix who keeps me on my toes and a cat who completely stole my heart. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Jersey, and that experience deepened my understanding of the special bond we share with our pets. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave them behind and trust someone else with their care. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, affection, attention, and plenty of love. About: I have been taking care of pets all my life, from puppies and kittens to senior pets. I also have special experience volunteering at the Anderson Humane Society where I walked dogs, socialized cats, and other overall care activities! I have been privately dog and cat sitting with family friends and neighbors for about 5 years as well. Other than preparing for graduate school in the fall (moving August 1st), I will be around and completely free to take care of your furry friends! Pet safety is my number one concern. I make sure all pets under my care feel safe and happy, taking note of their needs along their stay.

About: I have watched the pets of friends, family, and peers of mine and have had an amazing time doing it! I also had a family dog and I have a cat of my own! I have watched / walked pets of many ages, weights and temperaments and I have been happy with all of them! I am respectful towards boundaries of pets, and have experience grooming my own pets who are reactive at the grooming salon and are better at home. I also have lots of walking dog experience as well. I am working part-time on the weekends, I am able to stay overnight during weekends. I cannot bring any other pet home because of my own cat but I am able to travel and stay at other houses on the weekends. I am able to do one day pet sitting and short and long dog walks as well. I am able to also take dogs or cats on car rides if needed as well! I have cared for my family dog along side my family for her whole 13 year life, she was a yellow lab. I now have a maine coon who is 19 lbs and has double hip dysplasia and a bad knee who is 5 years old. I have groomed both of those pets, walked both of those pets on leashes and taken daily care and made sure any problems they have had, had been helped and treated with care. I safely take directions from owners whose pets I have watched and followed them fully and have reached out an asked questions and made them aware of everything that had happened when they were gone. I take pet care very seriously and I always bring up anything I notice is wrong and always make sure the pets safety and happiness is priority!

About: I've loved caring for pets my entire life! My mother was a vet tech who taught me everything I needed to know about caring for animals. I have two senior dachshunds adopted from rescues and have rehabilitated them to be sweet socialized canine citizens. I love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I work a hybrid office job which gives me some flexibility for assisting with your pets! I can walk or visit with your pets in the evenings on weekdays, or anytime on weekends. Your pet will receive care according to their unique needs while I'm visiting with them. Play, feeding, affection, or exercise defined by what you would want to be doing for them yourself.

About: I've lived and taken care of different types of animals like dogs, cats, and small animals all different sizes as well. I've also taken care of puppies and kittens too and have experience with bottle feeding and giving medicine if needed. Im currently working part time during the week, and every other weekend, but I could definitely hang out with your cats, dogs, or small animals when u need me too. Its me and my boyfriend at the apartment so there will always be someone home to take care of the pets. I have 2 cats and I live in a pet friendly apartment I also have lots of parks and trails to take your pet too.

I have a morning and evening routine with all animals that includes feeding exercising and cleaning up after them. I’m committed, empathetic, and responsible with animals. I grew up with a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, spent my teenage years as the go-to neighborhood babysitter and pet sitter, and today, I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful Wheatens of my own. ​Because of my personal experience with dogs of all backgrounds, I understand that every animal is unique. My philosophy is to always meet animals where they are at—building trust at their pace while providing a safe, confident, and structured environment. I'm currently accepting weekday appointments for now and will accept some overnights and weekends. I have a flexible schedule at this point and will be able to care for pets multiple times throughout the day and night. I will treat your home and your pets with the utmost respect and try to follow the schedule and routine to make sure your pet is comfortable in their home while you're away. About: I'm Julie (Jules), a graphic designer and creative director. I own a design and branding company in the Chicago/Milwaukee area that services clients locally, nationally and globally. I love all creative pursuits, including writing music for piano and singing. I've always loved all dogs, especially larger breeds (though the smaller pups are super cute and sweet and steal my heart equally!). My pup, Bella, a black lab mix, was a very kind, sweet and gentle dog. She passed in 2016 at age 14, having had a very nice life. I would love to help other fur babies who need caregiving while their humans are away or need a daily walk or check-in. I'm at home working during the week and have access to a wonderful backyard, an amazing neighborhood, and parks nearby. I love all outdoor activities, especially hiking and swimming. Would love to take your pups to the beach or on any sized walk they desire!! :) I offer these services because I love dogs, not to make a living. It's a great win/win to have a sweet fur baby around from time to time. Yes, it's nice to have some extra cash to work on the house, but my primary career more than covers my income needs. I share this info so you can be sure no other dogs will share your pup's time with me.* I keep to a strict policy of one-on-one care and up to two dogs from the same family... if you have more than two, please reach out, and I may be able to make exceptions. My rates reflect this customized care and focus for your sweet puppers! *In mid-2024, I started pairing up dogs that requested having another pup present from a different family. Please let me know if you are open to having a playmate for your pup. If you prefer no other dogs in the home while yours is here with me, I strictly adhere to your preferences and take this quite seriously. I specialize in customized care for dogs with behavioral issues such as not getting along with other dogs. Since my dog passed in 2016, I have been able to devote all my time to your pup when they're in my care. They will be carefully cared for and pampered, with every need catered to. The only thing I won't abide is a pup who isn't house-trained. If your dog/pup has never been left with a sitter before and you'd like to ensure they're a great house guest, I do suggest booking a 1-2 night stay much in advance of your trip so we can see if your pup has any specific issues to call out, and if I'm a good fit for them/you. I have found this to be of great benefit to you and me! I charge a cleaning fee IF your pup has "surprise" issues with incontinence, as this behavior can happen; however, I don't take on dogs with this issue unless we have a solution, like a doggy diaper or pee pads (for puppies). Severe separation anxiety can also be challenging, as my own pup had this issue. If there are situations such as this, I ask that you bring a crate, and the pup must be trained and be OK to be in their crate as needed. If no issues like these exist, they need to have their own bed or spot where they like to sleep. I don't allow dogs to sleep upstairs with me. Snuggling up on the sofa with a couple of pups is one of my favorite things to do. I know most dogs like a comfy bed. As noted above, please bring a fresh bed for your pet, either a cleaned dog bed from home or a new one. I have blankets for the floor and a lovely sofa that I cover with a blanket for the occasional daytime snooze. If you have an elderly dog, I know just what to do to provide the best care. As my dog Bella aged, I learned how to adapt every year. Listening to your dog and providing the best care is my priority. I realized that leaving an ailing or elderly pup in another person's care can be stressful. I would treat your dog like my own and hope to put your mind at rest. I welcome all questions as part of our meet + greet. I only sit for dogs I know or can meet during our meet + greet (unless out-of-town circumstances or timing prevail). I can sit at the last minute only for pups I've sat for previously or know well. If you are traveling from out of town and cannot sync up for a meet + greet, please reach out to discuss your situation. As far as breeds go, I have experience with an extensive range of breeds—larger breeds with special needs like an elevated dog water/food bowl due to how they process food or other breeds that are great with humans and not so wonderful with other dog breeds. I've had great results with training. I have experience with smaller breeds as well. As mentioned, I only sit for house-trained and well-behaved dogs in the home. I book up early... sometimes six months before a planned trip. Please plan ahead to secure your desired dates. I look forward to meeting your amazing pups soon!! Jules I'm home most of the time. I work days and some evenings but make my own schedule. I'm available as needed for all types of customized care. I have a lovely yard for dog play. I would love the same situation if I were dog-sitting in your home. My home is also in a very safe Hales Corners neighborhood. It has a low volume of car traffic and is very quiet.

About: I love to go on walks and understand busy pet parent schedules. I’ve had great danes my whole life so I am comfortable with larger dogs. I have helped with my neighbors and parents coworkers dogs since I was 10. Will take most same day appointments I work part time with a pretty open schedule. tuesdays and thursdays are my busiest so i will most likely not be available during the day. I love playing with all types of dogs. I also understand how to deal with older and younger dogs. I am very familiar with crates, fenced in yards, and all different types of leashes/harnesses.

About: I have enjoyed spending time with dogs and keeping them company! I have 2 dogs of my own so I have enough experience to watch your furry baby! About: Hi! My name is Ashlee, and i am currently employed as a veterinary assistant at a veterinary emergency room. I am currently going to school to be a veterinary technician, and will be graduating in the summer! I am dog CPR certified, and i excel in dog safety, animal body language and communication with owners! I know how to safely handle senior pets, pets with disabilities, and even pets with behavior concerns. I currently work and go to school full time- so my availability is limited, but when i’m available to take care of your furry friends that is my #1 priority! I will make sure that I take excellent care of all the animals who need it. I will walk them, play with them, bathe them, and do whatever is needed to keep the animal and the client happy!

About: My husband and I loved our dog for 10 years. We can’t get another one anytime soon but will love yours like our own. We both had dogs as pets growing up and have cared for a pet for 40+ years. I am an elementary school principal. I am available for full-time care or walking June-August. Outside of that, I’m available full-time on the weekends and evenings during the week.
