“This is the first time we've used Rover.com and we were naturally concerned about leaving Gracie with someone we didn't know, especially for almost two weeks. After meeting Joe and Diana, their girls and their little dog Pickles, we knew Gracie would be well cared for. And she was. While we were on vacation, we got pictures of Pickles and Gracie just chilling out. We even got a movie of them playing together. They apparently were becoming such good buddies, we began to wonder if Gracie would want to come home with us. Joe and Diana were terrific accommodating Gracie's needs. Gracie very much likes to sleep overnight in our bedroom and Joe and Diana arranged for her to do that. Except for one night when they woke to find Gracie's bed was empty. It was not a problem though. They soon found her sleeping with Pickles in the other room. Joe and Diana have the perfect house for dog sitting. They even have a cabinet that runs the length of the front picture window, so Gracie had a place to sit and watch the world outside - one of her favorite pass-times. We will definitely use Joe and Diana to dog sit Gracie in the future. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life! Currently have three! Growing up, my mom wasn’t a big fan of dogs, so we always had cats in the house—and I’ve loved them ever since. I’ve personally rescued cats, fostered for over 3 years, and I’m the go-to cat sitter for friends and family. About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

I am also experienced with senior dogs and giving medication. I work from home two days a week, giving me extra time to spend with the pets in my care. I'm available on Sundays for walks and drop-in visits, and I'm home most weekends for boarding. Need an evening walk between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.? Or a one time weekday overnight between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. ? Send me a message—I may be able to fit you in even if my availability appears closed. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only care for one client's pets at a time to provide individualized attention. My friendly Akita, Yoshi, can interact with social dogs or be kept completely separate if needed. I have a spare bedroom, crates available upon request, and a calm, clean environment where your pet can feel at home. I'll also provide regular photo updates for your peace of mind.
