“We searched high and low for the right place and people to care for our dog Stella, and we could not be more grateful to have found Carol and Steve. Carol and Steve were ideal people with whom we could safely leave Stella. They have an incredibly well-maintained (and absolutely gorgeous) property of which the backyard is completely fenced in, which gave Stella plenty of time and space to run around and sniff to her heart's content. My husband and I were certain while we were gone that Stella was getting as much exercise and outdoor time as she wanted. This was a wonderful reassurance as we had never boarded her anywhere else before and were nervous that she'd have to be stuck in a kennel or a room for most of our absence. Not so once we found this wonderful couple! Carol and Steve followed our instructions for Stella to the letter and it was clear they were both very comfortable and at ease taking care of our dog. No issues whatsoever and we have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about our experience with them. Possibly the BEST part about having booked with Carol and Steve is their impeccable communication. We never - at any point - had to wait long for a response, whether we were asking a question or just communicating logistics regarding Stella's stay. They also made sure to send along regular update messages with pictures while we were gone, typically twice a day. This factor alone made this the most relaxing trip we've taken as a family to date. It gave us complete peace of mind to read and see that Stella was not only doing okay, but was being well taken care of, snuggled, loved, played with, and included as a part of their home. What a treat to find people who will care of your pet the way that you would yourself. We can't recommend Carol and Steve highly enough. Do yourself a favor and hire them. They're exceptional!”

“This is the first time we've used Rover.com and we were naturally concerned about leaving Gracie with someone we didn't know, especially for almost two weeks. After meeting Joe and Diana, their girls and their little dog Pickles, we knew Gracie would be well cared for. And she was. While we were on vacation, we got pictures of Pickles and Gracie just chilling out. We even got a movie of them playing together. They apparently were becoming such good buddies, we began to wonder if Gracie would want to come home with us. Joe and Diana were terrific accommodating Gracie's needs. Gracie very much likes to sleep overnight in our bedroom and Joe and Diana arranged for her to do that. Except for one night when they woke to find Gracie's bed was empty. It was not a problem though. They soon found her sleeping with Pickles in the other room. Joe and Diana have the perfect house for dog sitting. They even have a cabinet that runs the length of the front picture window, so Gracie had a place to sit and watch the world outside - one of her favorite pass-times. We will definitely use Joe and Diana to dog sit Gracie in the future. Highly recommend.”

About: I would describe myself as a cat fanatic! I only have the one cat because she doesn’t like others. But she’s very spoiled. Jenna is 16 with kidney failure. It caused a toxin build up, giving her early onset dementia. Ever since then I’ve not only made her food from scratch, but she gets multiple meals a day that I’ve managed to keep going for months! I’ve always wanted another cat but I could never dream of stressing Jenna out like that. So I’d love to get to know your special kitties! My personality adds comfort and ease to any family. I currently work remote full-time Monday-Friday 7am-3pm, so any needs after 3pm, I am your caregiver! I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. I have groomed both of those pets, walked both of those pets on leashes and taken daily care and made sure any problems they have had, had been helped and treated with care. I safely take directions from owners whose pets I have watched and followed them fully and have reached out an asked questions and made them aware of everything that had happened when they were gone. I take pet care very seriously and I always bring up anything I notice is wrong and always make sure the pets safety and happiness is priority!

About: As fur momma and a human momma , I have so much love to give ! I grew up with animals of all kinds from hamsters,iguanas, cats and dogs . My grandparents black lab even put me in the box with her puppies when I was a kid. That's a whole lot of trust! I currently live in a dog friendly home with 2 dogs of my own. I have experience with puppies,kittens, adult dogs,senior dogs and everyone in between. I am available any evening after 530 pm until 10 pm. I am available most Tuesdays any time between 9 am and 2:30 pm. I am free every weekend! I live in an extremely dog friendly apartment complex. All of my niehbors have pets so they don't mind fur babies. I have lots of walking trails. We have a dog park and a nature center where my pups love to socialize and excercise. There are lots of did friends to meet but there are alot of areas to walk in nature if your dog prefers to be in a more calm setting. My dogs love friends! My doggos love a good routine after breakfast we go for a walk , they enjoy their crates as comfort. They enjoy calming treats and deer antlers and of course . When I'm home I take them on a mid day walk or we play on the obstacle course in our on site fenced in dog park open 24/7. We take our evening walk around before bed time and they cozy in for the night.
