“Amanda has been great to work with and she handled the craziness of our two four month old puppies wonderfully! She is great at communicating and provided a nice summary of her visit along with some pictures. We look forward to having Amanda watch the dogs again.”

“This is the first time we have used this type of service and we were very hesitant to try it. But after meeting with Patricia we were convinced it was a good choice. Our dogs took to her right away and eased any concerns we had. The pictures and report cards were great!! Next time we need someone to help out with our furry kids we will be contacting Patricia again.”

“Was able to accommodate a last-minute booking due to unexpected surgery and was super-accommodating over the weekend hospital stay updates. The pups looked super happy in every pic! Thanks so much.”

“Graciela was great! She kept me updated with photos, was right on time for her drop in visit and took great care of my dog. I appreciated her communication and would definitely recommend her for dog care!”

“Hailey is truly the best! She gives awesome play by plays of her visits and provides the cutest pictures. My pup loves her! Can’t recommend her enough!!”

“Sarah is awesome! I recently adopted a very high maintenance half Persian cat. I had to leave town to visit family for 4 days. I found Sarah on Rover based on reviews. She came to meet my cat and his routine. She came to the house daily when I was gone. She very willingly, happily, and efficiently followed a long list of to do things (meal times with specific types of foods, food puzzles, setup automatic feeders, play time, litter box maintenance, etc) I Sarah went above and beyond to make me feel better about leaving my cat behind home alone for the first time. She did a wonderful job at taking care of the cat and making him feel safe and loved 🥰 I highly recommend Sarah with your fur babies!”

“She did so good with my evil cat and even brought in a package and put my robot camera back on the charger. We met up before my vacation and did a quick review of what was needed. I felt comfortable knowing she was there for my cat :)”

“Kailey was a pleasure to work with start to finish. She listens well and you can tell that she really loves to take care of pets. This gave us assurance that while we were overseas on vacation, we knew that our beloved pet would be taken care of with love and compassion and according to our instructions/requests. She went out of her way to take care of other things outside of norm of pet sitting regarding our house, including bringing in the mail, taking care of our trash pickup, watering our plants, and picked up our flag that fell off of the post and put it in our garage for us, etc....Kailey took the time to send updates and pictures of our pet after the pet visits, which helped assure us of his current condition. I highly recommend her for your pet/house sitting needs!”

“Kelsey was incredible. First she was extremely flexible as I changed my plans on her many times! I booked out in advance and she followed up with me beforehand. My cats love her and loved to play and be pet! She handled my entry instructions great and I felt very safe leaving my cats in her care and my apartment open to her! I met her in person as well she is so kind. I highly recommend!”

“Ashley was incredible to work with! She was quick to respond, communicated clearly and remained flexible with scheduling. Ashley sent me photos of Oliver and shared how the visit went. He clearly adored her from the photos! She also brought in a package that was delivered. This was my first Rover experience. I'm so grateful to have connected with Ashley! She will definitely be my go-to when I have to travel. Thank you, Ashley!”

April took wonderful care of my cat, Lucy, while I was away. Lucy has asthma and is blind in one eye, so she requires extra attention and care. April was prompt, reliable, and responsible, and I felt completely at ease knowing Lucy was in such caring hands. She was attentive to Lucy’s special needs and treated her with kindness and compassion. I highly recommend April to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you, April, for taking such great care of my sweet Lucy!

Alexandra was an excellent petsitter! We’d just moved to the state and were very nervous about leaving the care of our cats to a new person but she completely alleviated those fears. She was incredibly flexible and communicative throughout the petsitting. We will definitely book her again!

Nicole was amazing!!! She took some of the best pictures of my cats and sent them every day, her communication skills were amazing and she went above and beyond caring for my cats and my home. I am amazed and so grateful to have found her. Ive had the best experience with her and I cant say enough!!

Jackie was fantastic. We totally baby our cat and she made us feel confident he was in good hands. Lots of pictures and updates. We also had a family emergency that kept us out of town longer; Jackie was incredibly kind and looked after our boy longer than anticipated.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hales Corners. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
