About: From working/volunteering at shelters to pet sitting for friends and family, I have 10+ years of experience caring for furry friends of all ages, personalities, and sizes! Most all of my pet care has been limited to cats and dogs, but I am willing to work with small critters, birds and reptiles with the right care instructions/tutorials. I am not typically squeamish, so I am open to handling clean up and medication - please message me for specifics. As a dog mom myself, I understand that each pet requires different levels of care and attention, and am willing to meet them where they’re at! However, I do not offer training services and might not be the most compatible caretaker for pets that exhibit aggressive behaviors (I am open to discussing). Additionally, I am a full time graduate student, so care in the early morning and evenings will work best for my week day schedule. I will be available some holidays (i.e., Thanksgiving). About: Ive been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents ran a pet-care business out of our home—starting with family pets and growing into a well-known service in our city. Because of this, handling dogs of all personalities is second nature to me. I’m also very active and athletic, so I love taking dogs out for long walks or brisk runs—perfect if you have a high-energy pup who needs to burn off extra steam. I do work full time during the week and I go into an office. About: No kids or pets of my own and a big Jeep means my outdoorsy lifestyle is open and flexible for your fur babies. I'm comfortable with dogs from all walks of life. I have confident experience with reactive dogs and big breeds especially. I'm a part time barista, working mostly evenings, so morning and mid-day walks work best for me. I am available for night walks after work as well, if that works for your schedule. Weekend boarding is best with advance notice, as I occasionally pick up Friday and Saturday shifts at the coffee shop. I live on the second floor with access to a fenced in backyard. It was so reassuring to see the attention to detail she had, like cleaning out their bowls at every single feeding. On top of the stellar care, she took absolutely incredible pictures of them while we were away! We would book with her again with zero hesitation.
