“Lexie was so great with Sirius while I was away! She had great communication and was kind enough to grab more cat litter when mine ran out. I look forward to booking with her again”

“Emily was wonderful!!she was super communicative. And we received regular photos of our fur babes. Emily kept the house as we left it as well. My kiddos are always skittish around new people and after day 1 they started to settle in to her being there. Usually they spend their time outside when we are not home because they don’t want to be with a stranger, but these guys did not! They were out when she let them and they came back in timely as well. A big shocker. My other little, queen bee kiddo even let her get close to her and pet her as well. We will be hiring Emily again! Thank you!”

“Jenn cared for our cats just as if they were her own. She clearly loves cats, as evidenced by the meticulous details she communicated to me about her daily visits with them. We came home to happy cats! I will definitely ask Jenn to care for our cats again in the future.”

“Avery was so kind and accommodating with our two senior cats. She did a wonderful job of keeping us up to date with photos and details of her visits. Thank you so much for taking great care of our girls!”

“Mallory did an amazing job with Gwar! She consistently provided updates and made sure he was healthy and happy. I came home to a happy and well cared for kitty! Thank you so much again!”

“Lilly took excellent care of my kitties! She followed my instructions, gave daily updates and photos and played with them. She cleaned up a mess one of them made and informed me of her health concern. When I arrived home they were happy and not “mad” at me. I would recommend her to others and will use her again.”

“Sarah was amazing!! She checked in on our cat while we were gone and our cat absolutely adored her. Sarah provided tons of photos and updates so it really put us at ease that our cat was getting some love while we were gone. Thank you Sarah!!”

“I enjoyed the photo updates everyday showing Merlin doing his favorite thing, people watching on the porch. I wasn’t worried about my kitty while away.”

“Nicole took amazing care of my cat! He's normally skittish, but he warmed up to her right away during the initial visit, and even let her brush him. Nicole sent update photos every day and I could tell how happy he was to see his new playmate during her visits. When I got home everything was in order (except of course for the toys my mischievous boy likes to redistribute). I'll definitely be booking with Nicole again the next time I'm out of town!”

“Keisha was a Godsend, one of our cat's requires daily meds, which he hates taking, and she made sure he got them with understanding and positivity, even when personally tested knowing the need that he received them.”

“Kristy did a great job caring for my kitty. She was prompt and clear with all our communications, starting with the first meeting, and was very pleasant to work with. I'll definitely contact her again next time.”

About: My formative years began with fish, frogs, bunnies, and cats. About eight years ago, I started more regularly caring for dogs as friends and family added them to their homes. Because I'm used to working with patients and their families as a registered nurse , I feel confident communicating clearly about pet health concerns and observing changes over time. Some cares I am willing to provide include (but are not limited to) administering medications (oral, topical, subcutaneous, or intramuscular), post-surgical care wound monitoring, bandage changes, restricted activity support, vital signs, mobility assistance, and seizure support. Pet care fits naturally into my current schedule, allowing me to be flexible and fully present for the pets I care for. While I'm not working in a clinical setting at the moment, I’m choosing to focus on what brings me joy, including caring for animals with the same attentiveness I gave my patients. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, triggers, and preferences so they feel secure and cared for, whether in my home or theirs. I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, and I’m mindful of household rules, dietary needs, and medical instructions. My nursing background has trained me to be observant, responsive, and patient whether medically complex or not!
“Elyzabeth was wonderful and checked in/checked out as we agreed. Pictures were sent with regular updates and notes. Everything was great when we got home from our trip. :)”
About: Growing up we had three dogs and they all lived very long lives and unfortunately passed within the span of a few months. We rescued two beautiful cocker spaniels Charlie and Minx to go along with our family dog Maya who was coincidentally a cocker spaniel. My job in the family was always to take care of the cats, dogs, and rabbits. I loved taking care of animals and my favorite activity was going for walks with the dogs. I currently am enrolled at MATC and am in the radiography program. I have a long break before registration for the Radiography petition window is open and would love to spend my extra free time taking care of pets. I also set my availability as available for all days of the week to accommodate last minute appointments. From our cat Moo to my leopard gecko Richard all of the animals in my house are pampered daily. I would treat each clients animal the same way that I treat mine. All animals are treasures and we as humans are honestly blessed to get to take care of them. All animals have different personalities and I believe that each one requires different kinds of care. Some animals loved to be touched and held whereas some are hesitant at first or it may make them anxious. Being able to respect and discern these traits early on will help make the animal feel more relaxed and trust you.
“Ashlee was great at communicating and went above and beyond for my large dog with medical needs. She was able to assist him outside using a sling and adhere to his physical restrictions post surgery.”

“Erica was very thorough and did a wonderful job taking care of Cooper at lunchtime. You can definitely tell she cares about dogs. We would recommend her and use her again to care for our pup.”

“We had a great experience with Katie and would absolutely use her again! Katie was punctual, thorough, and kept us well informed. We were able to relax and have a great trip knowing Katie was watching our little one.”

West Milwaukee cat parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole was excellent! When she came for the meet and greet, she asked excellent questions to really get to know our girls and set expectations. She was calm and let our girls come to her. Then, when she came for the visit, she took excellent care of our kitties and was able to pill our calico successfully! Throughout the whole experience she communicated super well, which is something that we value. We will absolutely recommend and rebook!! Thanks Nicole!

This is our second time booking with Emily, and we’ve loved her so much that we’ve referred friends to her who confirm the same sentiment: She is just fantastic at what she does. Her experience with young children as an elementary school teacher certainly translates to being phenomenal with furry friends! We were concerned that our shy calico would hide, but she was happily making friends within a few visits. Rover reports were detailed (and so sweet!) each day. Cannot continue recommending Emily enough!

Rusha is the best when it comes to nervous cats. My cat is so shy around people but loves Rusha. She even let Rusha pick her up and cuddle. I am always so comfortable leaving my cat in Rusha’s knowing that she will not only be taken care of but given all the attention.
