“This is the first time we have used this type of service and we were very hesitant to try it. But after meeting with Patricia we were convinced it was a good choice. Our dogs took to her right away and eased any concerns we had. The pictures and report cards were great!! Next time we need someone to help out with our furry kids we will be contacting Patricia again.”

“Jen did great! E we’re gone two weeks but you would have thought we had only gone to work. She must have given him a LOT of attention. She sent great updates and photos. She even made an extra stop when she thought he wasn’t feeling well. Thanks Jen!!”

“Elizabeth made time to stop at my home twice today to hang out with pups. She always helps me and my pups out. We are fortunate to have someone my pups are familiar with. Thank you for easing my mind when I can’t be with my dogs!! ❤️🐾🐾”

“Sandra has been so helpful with our puppy Howie as we both work in the office. Even had to make some special requests after Howie was neutered and Sandra handled it no problem! I know that Howie is in great hands with her! She is reliable and communicative. Thanks Sandra!”

“Jackie was fantastic! She communicated clearly and consistently, which made the whole experience stress-free. Most importantly, she took wonderful care of our pets—they were happy, healthy, and clearly well looked after when we returned. It gave us great peace of mind while we were away knowing they were in such capable hands!”

“Rachel went truly above and beyond- taking care of stuff she didn’t have to just because it helped me out (like cat vomit haha). It was such a relief to not have to worry while I was on the wrong continent. She must have been amazing with my cats too because my never-talks-to-anyone orange let her have pets! Thank you Rachel!!”

“Kelsey was incredible. First she was extremely flexible as I changed my plans on her many times! I booked out in advance and she followed up with me beforehand. My cats love her and loved to play and be pet! She handled my entry instructions great and I felt very safe leaving my cats in her care and my apartment open to her! I met her in person as well she is so kind. I highly recommend!”

About: I've lived and taken care of different types of animals like dogs, cats, and small animals all different sizes as well. I've also taken care of puppies and kittens too and have experience with bottle feeding and giving medicine if needed. Im currently working full time during the week at home, and I could definitely hang out with your cats or dogs when u need me too. Its me and my boyfriend at the apartment so there will always be someone home to take care of the pets. We got 3 of our own adult cats. I have 2 cats and I live in a pet friendly apartment I also have lots of parks and trails to take your pet too.
“This is Sadie’s first visit with Jenn and everything went so well. She was prompt, had quality time with Sadie and accomplished everything discussed. Jenn is very reliable and I would highly recommend her.”
About: Lover of all animals. We have one doggo & 3 cats right now and have had 2 others dogs over the past 20 years !! Experience giving meds daily (pills & insulin) and great with walking dogs. I’m in sales and work locally. Schedule can be pretty flexible. I have no problem working my schedule around your fur babies. Mornings, days and evenings will work based on my schedule. I have a fenced in back yard which is great for our dog Chance. I’m very comfortable taking all dogs for walks, playing in the back yard and feedings as needed.
“Nikki checked in our cat during a weekend away, and she was great to work with. She was responsive and prompt, and took wonderful care of our cat. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Nikki again or recommend her to others!”
About: I've always had animals growing up and have watched my family's pets when they were away. I currently have a dog and cat myself, and they would love some friends! I work from home so I will be available for all of your pet's needs, whether they want to snuggle, go far car rides, or take a walk around the neighborhood! I know my dog mostly just doesn't like being alone, but I can also provide a more structured routine if needed. I treat all pets like my own. I currently have a friendly poodle mix (about 75 lbs) that loves to snuggle with me on the bed or couch, and especially loves going for car rides. I also have a cat that mostly likes sleeping in the sun, but will occasionally want some affection (although he won't admit it).

We are so grateful that April was able to take such good care of our kitties while we were on vacation, and help look after the house a bit while we were away. She really went above and beyond, was very communicative throughout the trip, we felt very comfortable, and really appreciate everything she did!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Berlin. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
