“Our Molly was well cared for by Dan and Holly for over a week while we were gone on vacation. When we picked Molly up, and Holly and Dan were saying goodbye to Molly, she gave them both doggy kisses on their noses! Need I say more! We are already rebooking with them for our next planned trip in a few months.”

“Lauren is so amazing! Winter has very bad separation anxiety and we are always nervous everytime we leave him. It’s our first time to leave winter with Lauren but she did a very good job! She is very professional, updates us about Winter and most of all she is very passionate about taking care of dogs especiallys with dogs with separation anxiety and that made Winter feel very comfortable and enjoyed his stay with her. Winter had a lot of walks with her and he even made his way into the couch to sit with her. Plus he ate his food and treats and allowed Lauren to wipe his paws after walks. This is very unusual with Winter because he doesnt trust easily especially with someone whom he just met. But this made us think he was so comfortable with Lauren and he was happy with her. We are also happy knowing that Winter was well taken care of and we had a stress free short out of town trip. Thank you Lauren and Noah. We are so grateful for your help ❤️🙏🏻 highly recommended!”

“Brittany was great! My pup came home happy and actually seemed like she didn’t want to leave ? Brittany was great about communication and sent me plenty of photos of my pup during her stay. I would highly recommend her.”

“Tucker was so welcomed and cared for by this lovely family! I received many updates with photos and it was clear my older dog was so comfortable and happy taking walks with them and cozying up in their living room. Instructions were followed exactly regarding feeding and sleeping arrangements. It was apparent that these dog-loving caregivers wanted the best for my pet. A big thank you to them and I would definitely book them again!”

“I feel really comfortable leaving my pup with Joanne. She sent me pictures and updates on Ginger every day - they made me smile! Was wonderful to know my pup was being loved and so well cared for while I was away! Thank you, Joanne!”

“I would highly recommend Christina if you are looking for someone to care for your pup while you’re away! She’s a great communicator and sent pics often! I could relax knowing he was in good hands. Thank you!”

About: I've always had animals growing up and have watched my family's pets when they were away. I currently have a dog and cat myself, and they would love some friends! I work from home so I will be available for all of your pet's needs, whether they want to snuggle, go far car rides, or take a walk around the neighborhood! I know my dog mostly just doesn't like being alone, but I can also provide a more structured routine if needed. I treat all pets like my own. I currently have a friendly poodle mix (about 75 lbs) that loves to snuggle with me on the bed or couch, and especially loves going for car rides. I also have a cat that mostly likes sleeping in the sun, but will occasionally want some affection (although he won't admit it).
“Zach was great! I really appreciate he receives one client per booking, that was helpful for my anxious dog. They loved being couch potatoes and going to the outside to play and hunt invisible animals. My dogs felt at home really fast! Also he was willing to learn a couple of commands in Spanish to communicate with my mexican dogs ❤️.”

“Alexis is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend her! She sent us daily updates and I know that our dog absolutely adores her. We will be using her in the future.”

“Debbie was awesome! She sent many pictures and took good care of our furry son during our weekend getaway, even took him on little summer fun! We were lucky to have found her. Thanks, Debbie !😊”

“Amanda was great! She kept my Hundley while I had to take a quick trip out of town. She sent me lots of pictures and I could tell he was enjoying his time with her and her family ❤️. Will definitely use Amanda again!”

“Dawn and her family provided a comforting setting for our dog Astro. He was the only client they had for the stay which to us is just what he likes. He’s not much a social one, but tolerates well with other dogs if he has to! They paid Astro lots of attention when he needed it. Kept us up to date on anything that was important to tell us and sent pictures to show us he’s doing well! He’s pretty easy to take care of and not a trouble maker for anybody and he knew he was in good hands! Also, we liked that Dawn has a fenced in backyard! Big plus! Thanks again! Mike and Liz”

“Alyssa is absolutely fantastic! I was kind of worried leaving Maggie with someone i didn't know but after I met her at our meet and greet and toured her house and talked to her I was 100% sure that I had found the person I was absolutely comfortable leaving my Maggie with. She was so genuine and sent me pictures and videos during Maggie's stay. Thank you Alyssa!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - New Berlin
Tia and Colin are AMAZING!! They were so warm, welcoming and caring for my pups while I was out of town. They graciously opened their home for dog sitting and I don’t think my pups were ready to leave!! They went above and beyond in making sure my dogs were loved and cared for. I especially appreciated the updates and pics while I was away. If you are looking for outstanding care and attention, I HIGHLY recommend Tia and Colin!!

After three separate bookings, Justine has all of the boxes checked when caring for your pup. Friendly attitude–yes, safe environment-yes, active play encouraged-yes, honors customized requests-yes, attentive to pup’s individual personality and needs-yes, dog comes home clean, happy, and tired-yes. What more could you want from a caregiver? Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Bella, we would highly recommend. She took our request at late notice and took great care of our energetic Doberman. She even had her play in the pool on the hot days and gave her a bath. Was easy to work with and would definitely use again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
