“Benny has been at Kathy's before for daycare. This was his first overnight stay. Kathy is so good about keeping me updated with pictures and treats Benny like he is one of her own. After some not so good experiences at other facilities I'm thrilled that Benny feels so comfortable at Kathy's and loves to play with her little doggo.”

“Rebecca took great care of my Auro. I had plenty of pics and updates. Auro was the happiest during his stay and was very sad after he came back :(. He was missing his friends dearly.”

“Debbie took phenomenal care of my 4 year old German Shepherd. He is very needy and requires a tremendous amount of attention and stimulation. Debbie kept me worry free during my vacation with updates daily, and pictures of all the fun activities they did together. Will definitely be booking again when I leave town for a worry free trip!”

“Dolc’e loved Deanne. We were impressed that she messaged us several times with pictures while we were In Sicily. She allowed Dolc’è to sleep with her which made both of us happy. Definitely, a great caregiver. Highly recommend her for boarding your pet!”

“Nikki was wonderful! My dog loved her and had the best stay! She was so kind, helpful in answering my questions as a first time Rover user, attentive, and again my dog loved her! Thanks again and we will book again whenever we need to!”

“Tia and Colin are AMAZING!! They were so warm, welcoming and caring for my pups while I was out of town. They graciously opened their home for dog sitting and I don’t think my pups were ready to leave!! They went above and beyond in making sure my dogs were loved and cared for. I especially appreciated the updates and pics while I was away. If you are looking for outstanding care and attention, I HIGHLY recommend Tia and Colin!!”

“Ashley and her family took excellent care of my Little Lucy! She sent us pictures of Lucy sunbathing and taking walks with the family. Definitely will have them watch her again!”

About: I have had a deep compassion for all animals my whole life, wanting nothing more but for them to be happy. When your furry family members are with me, safety and entertainment will be of top priority. Giving love is second nature to me and I will be at full attention with your dog. Fun and exercise with plenty of fresh air guaranteed! I have specific walking routes to know where your pet will always be at all times , and communication will be as frequently as desired. Pictures will be posted regularly. Part of how I reach maximum comfortability for your dog is by using famiar language (commands) and learning it's habits and rituals. Everything has a personality and I try hard to learn what your dogs is like. Last but not least, I am all breed friendly!
“Carly is a wonderful sitter. She sent great updates, very responsive when making reservation and when picking up Millie, I could tell she had enjoyed her stay with Carly…she went back to her after seeing me as if to say good bye, one more petting from her.🤗”

“Our dog loved her stay with Zach. He was very professional and flexible with our unique drop off/pick up needs. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Rocky came home happy and well-adjusted with no stress symptoms, which is not what I would say to two previous stays with other dog sitting providers. I highly recommend Kylie for your dog and hope to use Kylie for our future needs. Thanks for being so accommodating! ❤️❤️❤️”

“My dog's loved being at Amanda's! I got so many cute pictures while we were away and you can tell they enjoyed cuddling with her and her son. Our pups were truly treated like family and I have already booked my dogs next stay with her.”

Im currently working part time during the week, and every other weekend, but I could definitely hang out with your cats, dogs, or small animals when u need me too. “Rachel was so amazing to our pup Ryder! She sent us great updates and gave us peace of mind that our boy was left in good hands. He was so loved and spoiled. We will definitely be using Rachel again in the future!”

“Yolanda is fantastic! This is the second time our dogs stayed with her. We had some craziness on the day we were supposed to leave. We had to take one of our dogs to the vet and Yolanda was a huge help. She rolled with the changes. Thank goodness our dog was ok and we were able to take our trip and Yolanda did a great job watching them once again. We highly recommend her!”

“Kam was an answer to my prayers! There are just sometimes I have to be away where my dog, a toy Aussie, can’t go, but I always hated taking him to a kennel. Somehow I found Rover and that led me to Kam. After a meet and greet I knew this was good. Kam, her family and her pets welcomed Cosmo in and treated him like family. She sent pictures several times a day. This was perfect for me to be able to leave him without feeling bad. He had lots of fun there. So glad I found Rover and Kam! It feels good!”

“We love Monique. Looey our goofy and lovable Catahoula seems to have a great time when he is there and happy when he returns. Can't say much else other than we hwve complete confidence in Monique to care for Looey”

“Dawn and her family provided a comforting setting for our dog Astro. He was the only client they had for the stay which to us is just what he likes. He’s not much a social one, but tolerates well with other dogs if he has to! They paid Astro lots of attention when he needed it. Kept us up to date on anything that was important to tell us and sent pictures to show us he’s doing well! He’s pretty easy to take care of and not a trouble maker for anybody and he knew he was in good hands! Also, we liked that Dawn has a fenced in backyard! Big plus! Thanks again! Mike and Liz”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
