About: Ever since I can remember I loved taking care of pets. When I was in high school I created my own petsitting/dog walking business Happy Paws. I built up a client base in my neighborhood and surrounding areas. I have experience petsitting dogs and cats, as well as caring for animals with medical needs. I can provide daily care as well as overnight care for your pet. For one year I also worked as a kennel assistant at a vets office. As a kennel assistant, I cared for max 12 dogs in the boarding center. While dogs were in boarding I provided daily care, cleaned kennels, and gave baths as needed. I used to have a dog and grew up with 4 cats in my house. I love taking care of all pets and animals (including chickens)! I am currently a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University. I am able to provide care for your pet during the day and overnight. During the weekday I am available dependent on my work schedule. I work split shifts so mid day care may be arranged. About: I've had cats my entire life and have volunteered at an animal shelter. While I only have cats now, I've cared in-depth for dogs, reptiles, rabbits, and other small mammals. I've helped care for a senior pet that needed regular meds and frequent reprieves for bladder control. I have a full time job, so I am able to care for your pets first thing in the mornings before I go to work and then after I am finished with my workday, so if your pet is used to the normal 8-5 hours of being alone, I’m a perfect fit for your family! I am familiar with socialization, crate training, daily activity, and all-around love that is required for dogs and cats. I am no stranger to the more hands-off needs of a small mammal or scaled friend, and am comfortable handling all sorts of pets. I am respectful of a client's home and will treat it as if it were my own. I do ask that I can adjust the temperature and that I will be comfortable staying in your home.
