This is the first time we have used this type of service and we were very hesitant to try it. But after meeting with Patricia we were convinced it was a good choice. Our dogs took to her right away and eased any concerns we had. The pictures and report cards were great!! Next time we need someone to help out with our furry kids we will be contacting Patricia again.

About: I’ve taken care of animals longer than I’ve even been working. Animals have been a big part of my life and I know it’s a big part of everyone’s. My experience with dogs are more close to big dogs, hunting dogs, and pittbulls. However I’ve also puppy-sat and dog sat small dogs before. And while I don’t want to puppy sit again, I’d love to dog sit! I love giving dogs enrichment activities on walks and at home. So they will never be bored with me! Currently my day life is a bit messy. So I won’t divulge too much. But my mornings I like to keep to myself since this is the first time in years I’ve had slow mornings. But I’m such a night owl that anything after 3pm works!! My house doesn’t have a fence, which is why I currently don’t offer at my house services. But I did however train one of my dogs to be off leash with a good recall! The other won’t be allowed to do so. He chases squirrels wayyyy too much!

Kelsey was fantastic with my nervous pup. She gave him the space he needed, but got him to eat dinner, and he even relaxed on the couch while I was gone, which is rare for him. She kept me updated all night and was very communicative. I'm looking forward to using Kelsey's services in the future!

About: I have 16+ years pet care experience with Dogs, and 20+ years experience with dogs. I treat my pet companions like family, always. My dog Marley gets walked, bathed and has daily playtime. My cat Katara has daily playtime and even plays with me and my pup. They are two peas in a pod and love each others time. I have experience administering pets meds as well as bathing cats and dogs. Pet care falls into my daily routine naturally. My pet babies know when I get home they get 1 treat, Marley knows he goes out to use the bathroom and goes for his daily walk. When Marley and I get back from our walk its playtime for all three of us. I have a very nice pet friendly apartment complex, as well as many safe areas for us to explore! I can provide animal care services on an as needed basis, I will just need to be notified ahead of time of meds, allergies, pet specific foods etc.

About: I love animals. I've taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout my life. My two cats, Prim and Khaleesi, are my world! I have experience with large and small dogs, as well as volunteer experience at the Oakland County Animal Shelter in Michigan. I've cared for energetic pups all the way to senior dogs that can't use the steps anymore. Being a stay-at-home cat mom, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to visit at consistent, predictable times. I use a car as transportation, so I can get there reliably. I treat every booking as a commitment, not just a task, so you can count on me to show up on time and follow the care routine exactly as you've set it out. My own pets are fed twice a day, and have their water bowl cleaned and refilled once a day. I can co-exist with your pet, or play with them for 30 minutes, whatever they need!

About: As fur momma and a human momma , I have so much love to give ! I grew up with animals of all kinds from hamsters, iguanas, cats and dogs . My grandparents black lab even put me in the box with her puppies when I was a kid. That's a whole lot of trust! I currently live in a dog friendly home with 2 dogs of my own. I have experience with puppies, kittens, adult dogs, senior dogs and everyone in between. I am available any evening after 530 pm until 10 pm. I am available most Tuesdays any time between 9 am and 2:30 pm. I am free every weekend! I live in an extremely dog friendly apartment complex. All of my niehbors have pets so they don't mind fur babies. I have lots of walking trails. We have a dog park and a nature center where my pups love to socialize and excercise. There are lots of did friends to meet but there are alot of areas to walk in nature if your dog prefers to be in a more calm setting. My dogs love friends! My doggos love a good routine after breakfast we go for a walk , they enjoy their crates as comfort. They enjoy calming treats and deer antlers and of course . When I'm home I take them on a mid day walk or we play on the obstacle course in our on site fenced in dog park open 24/7. We take our evening walk around before bed time and they cozy in for the night.

Jessi always does such a wonderful job taking care of my girls. When I have to go away I know they are going to recieve excellent love and care. She always provides updates and pictures so I know how they are doing. And she goes above and beyond: she replaced the batteries in our scale, repaired a cat toy that got stuck in our vacuum and brought in some unexpected packages. I highly recommend Jessi if you need someone to care for your fur baby!

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I learned early how to read animals, stay calm under pressure, and give every creature - from livestock to lap dogs - the care and patience they deserve. I competed in dog obedience and showed dogs at county fairs, and I’ve navigated everything from house training puppies to managing the quirks of both indoor and outdoor dogs. Today I share my home with an Aussie doodle and two Devon Rex cats, which means I understand firsthand what it takes to keep animals happy, healthy, and on a good routine. Because I work from home, I offer something most sitters can’t: genuine, flexible presence throughout the day. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, a bathroom break, or simply a calm human nearby, I’m here. That flexibility also makes me a great fit for anxious pets who are used to having people around - I specialize in drop-ins, walks, and house sitting in your home so your animals never have to leave their comfort zone. I show up the same way every time - dependable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure your animals feel safe and settled while you’re away. I’m new to the Greenfield neighborhood and can’t wait to meet the animals who live here. Pet care fits seamlessly into my day. I work from home full time, so I’m already home and on a routine with my own animals - my Aussie doodle gets morning attention, midday breaks, and evening walks, and my cats get playtime and check-ins woven throughout the day. Adding care for a client’s pet fits naturally into that rhythm. I’m not someone who squeezes pet care in around a busy away-from-home schedule - it’s already central to how my days are structured. When I’m caring for pets in their own home, my first priority is keeping their routine as normal as possible - same feeding times, same spaces, same sense of security. I pay close attention to any instructions left by the owner and don’t hesitate to ask clarifying questions before a stay so nothing gets missed. I treat every home with respect, leaving things exactly as I found them. Because I grew up on a farm, I’m calm and steady around animals - including in unexpected situations. I know how to stay level-headed if a pet is anxious, unwell, or acting out of character, and I know when something warrants a call to the owner or a vet. For drop-ins and walks, I always make sure pets are secure before opening any doors, double-check latches and gates, and never leave a pet unattended in an unsafe situation. Your home and your animals are a responsibility I take seriously.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Greenfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Greenfield with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
