Danielle and I first met for an initial discussion about my dog. We went through expectations and outlined what was needed, which i liked a lot to make sure we were both on the same page. She was great to work with. So kind to my Lena during her drop in to take her out when I was away. Thanks for your help!

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.

Jordanne was excellent! This was our first time using Rover and we were a bit nervous since the dogs were only used to our family. We found there was no need for worry because Jordanne was great! She sent photos and gave lots of updates which put us at ease. The dogs loved her. We'll be sure to hire her again!

About: I’ve had animals, mostly dogs and cats since I was A child. Let me know what your fur baby needs! I’m happy to accommodate. I had a beagle with me for 15 years and he was on various medications as he aged so I know how to administer medications if needed. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8-4:30 but am happy to walk your pet before or after those hours! I am happy to provide whatever care they might need while you are away. I see pets as members of the family. I have 2 dogs...a terrier and a mini poodle. I love them to pieces and they run the house! Lol. They are well behaved and allowed on the furniture and the bed. Your fur babies would be too! I want them to be comfortable in my home. If I’m dropping in to take care of your fur baby in their home just let me know what I need to do for them and consider it done! I take my pups out every morning for a short walk, after work, and just before bed time. I feed them twice a day with occasional treats that they love mixed in :) I'm in an apartment so they will be leashed when we go outside. I live close to 3 different parks as well as the Menomonee River Parkway....lots of space to walk with them and let them sniff away!

About: What sets me apart is my hands on experience as a dog foster, which has given me the ability to care for dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable adjusting to new routines quickly and helping pets feel safe and settled in a new environment. I provide calm, attentive, in home care where pets are treated like family. I focus on keeping their routine consistent, whether that includes feeding schedules, potty breaks, crate time, or extra play and attention. I’ve cared for both high energy dogs who need structure and exercise, as well as more anxious or relaxed dogs who need a calm, comforting space. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, loved, and at home while their owners are away and to keep owners updated so they can feel at ease. My schedule is flexible, I work part time and I’m able to provide consistent care throughout the day. I’m typically home most of the day, so pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and supervision. I can adjust my daily routine around the pets in my care and make sure their needs are met on a regular schedule. I provide care in a calm, clean, and pet friendly home where safety and comfort are the top priority. Pets are supervised throughout the day and are never left unattended for long periods. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any specific instructions from the owner. I introduce pets slowly into my home to help them feel comfortable and settled. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and all outdoor breaks are always supervised. Inside, pets have a cozy, relaxed environment where they can rest and feel at home. Pets are welcome on furniture if that is allowed by their owner, so they can stay as comfortable as they are in their own home. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and comfort level, especially during the adjustment period. My goal is to create a safe, low stress, loving environment, and I provide regular updates so owners always know how their pet is doing.

About: I have a diverse experience of taking care of dogs. One of my previous jobs was working in a dog daycare/kennel where I took care of dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have been a dog walker and sitter for many years now, and have been around dogs my whole life! I currently own a mini poodle puppy! I am currently a full time student and can help walk your dog on weekends, holidays, and some odd days throughout the week. My schedule does change, so I can’t provide consistent care, but would love to help out when I can! I take dog walking very seriously, and make sure that the dog’s safety is prioritized. It make sure to be very observant of the dog’s surroundings and temperament, and will be ready to pivot whenever necessary. Communication is very important to me, so I am as prepared as possible for every situation.

I also enjoy simple feedings and light walks with dogs. I am returning to graduate school in the fall, and am looking to supplement my income. I will have quite a bit of flexibility, particularly in mornings and evenings for pet care. I am looking forward to pet care breaks from my studies. About: I have three cats, including a senior cat with urinary health concerns, so I'm familiar with monitoring litter box habits, recognizing changes in routine, and providing extra care when needed. I also have experience managing a multi-cat household where one cat has behavioral challenges, which has taught me patience, observation, and how to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I'm familiar with administering pet medications and caring for animals with anxiety, including following medication schedules and maintaining calm, consistent routines to help them feel safe. I love dogs as well and enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds, whether that means playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply providing companionship. I treat every pet like family, follow routines closely, and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they're away. I’m currently open to a wide range of availability, so I can prioritize pet care and be reliable for both regular and last-minute needs. I make sure every pet gets focused attention and care, just like I would for my own. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow all instructions carefully so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I prioritize sticking to their normal schedule for feeding, walks, medication, and playtime. I’m respectful of the home, keep things clean and organized, and make sure pets feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages for peace of mind.

About: I’ve been a devoted animal lover and pet owner for as long as I can remember. From dogs and cats to caring for pets with unique personalities and needs, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Currently, I share my home with a lovable, mischievous hound mix who keeps me on my toes and a cat who completely stole my heart. A few years ago, I lost my soul dog, Jersey, and that experience deepened my understanding of the special bond we share with our pets. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave them behind and trust someone else with their care. That’s why I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, affection, attention, and plenty of love. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in visit, playtime, cuddles, a walk, or simply a friendly face while you’re away, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents, so you can expect regular updates, photos, and communication throughout my visits. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that often allows me to accommodate drop-in visits and pet care needs throughout the day. I’m committed to providing dependable, compassionate care and building a trusting relationship with both you and your pets. I look forward to meeting your furry family members and becoming someone you can count on whenever you need a helping hand! 🐾❤️ I work from home and have a decently flexible schedule. I have a young son and pets of my own but thankfully I share these responsibilities with my rockstar husband so I will be able to care for your fur babies. I understand that having a stranger in your home can be a little uncomfortable. I will 💯 respect your space and keep things clean in order for your while you are gone. Please let me know your preferences for my stay.

About: Hi, I’m Ashling! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, spent my teenage years as the go-to neighborhood babysitter and pet sitter, and today, I’m a proud pet parent to two wonderful Wheatens of my own. Because of my personal experience with dogs of all backgrounds, I understand that every animal is unique. My philosophy is to always meet animals where they are at—building trust at their pace while providing a safe, confident, and structured environment. I'm currently accepting weekday appointments for now and will accept some overnights and weekends. I have a flexible schedule at this point and will be able to care for pets multiple times throughout the day and night. I will treat your home and your pets with the utmost respect and try to follow the schedule and routine to make sure your pet is comfortable in their home while you're away. Their safety and comfort is my highest priority.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a West Allis stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Allis choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in West Allis with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Allis. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
