About: I have always had cats and dogs my whole life. Friends and family ask me to watch their pets frequently when they are out of town. I also have a soft spot for the senior pets who need that extra love and care. I currently work part-time from home so I have plenty of flexibility and time to spend with your pet(s) and fit in any additional care they may need. When I visit your home, just let me know your routine and I will continue your usual care to provide stability and predictability with your pet(s).
About: I am a dedicated pet caregiver committed to keeping your furry friend happy, healthy, and safe. I will strictly follow your pet's specific daily feeding and medication schedules to maintain their comforting routine. As an experienced and enthusiastic walker, I ensure they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and fun outdoor adventures. Your pet will receive attentive, loving care and the absolute highest quality companionship every single day. In July I will have open availability. Please refer to my calendar or feel welcome to send me a message. I am also very accommodating. I will always follow the instructions that the pet owner gives me. Hiring me your pet will always be fed on schedule, enjoy play time, and treats. Every home I visit will be respected and well taken care of.

“Jessie did a great job taking care of our two cats. We felt very comfortable knowing Jessie would be stopping by to check on them. She always sent pictures, updates, and was very communicative. We would definitely book with Jessie again!”

“Miranda is amazing. She is very patient with my old men doggies and takes time to ensure they’re taken care of with love. It’s not easy leaving your pets but Miranda makes it easier. Highly recommend”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs ever since I was young. I volunteered at the humane society in Waukesha WI for 6 months and spent time with mostly dogs but all animals. I have watched my family and friends dogs many times as well. I am a college student and it is hard being away from my fur baby so I am looking to spend time with some animals and help out where people need it! I am a full time college student with 3 in person classes and 2 online classes so my schedule is super flexible to stop in last minute or help wherever is needed. I unfortunately am not able to host any pets in my home because I am living in the dorms. But taking care of a pet in a clients home sounds great and I will be respectful of the space and clean up after myself.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life whether it be my own pets or other people’s pets. I love cats and dogs and have experience in caring for pets with health problems and pets who are a little bit older. I do well with all different sizes and breeds of cats and dogs. I am an athletic person so taking pets on walks is a great workout for both me and your pet! I work off my own schedule so anytime outside of 10pm-6am I can be there to take care or walk your pet. I am free any day of the week. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. Any instructions will be followed to completely. For walks I know of many parks and for longer walks trails.

“Kaitlyn did an amazing job taking care of our cats while we were away for a few days! We have three cats with different needs, so we provided detailed instructions—and she followed them all perfectly. She was prompt, reliable, and gave us updates after each visit, which we really appreciated. We’re so grateful for her help and the peace of mind she gave us while we were away. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their fur babies!”

“Sydney connected with Leo very well on our meet and greet, which is hard to do because of his age and anxiety. From the photos she shared they had a good first visit.”

Im currently working part time during the week, and every other weekend, but I could definitely hang out with your cats, dogs, or small animals when u need me too. Its me and my boyfriend at the apartment so there will always be someone home to take care of the pets. I have 2 cats and I live in a pet friendly apartment I also have lots of parks and trails to take your pet too.
“Justine was booked for daily drop ins for my two cats. She responded to messages quickly and followed my drop in requests perfectly. I would rebook and highly recommend her services.”

About: Hi, my name is Abby! I am looking for a flexible summer job before I start full-time as an auditor in the fall, and I thought animal care would be a good match! I have had many pets throughout my life. There was always at least one dog and one cat at a time, usually many more. I have a deep, genuine care for all animals, and love to give them the love and attention they deserve! This summer I am studying for my CPA license! I have some vacations sprinkled in for the summer as well, but beside those and studying for a few hours a day, I will have plenty of time to take care of and play with your pets! I am available Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, weekends and hourly exceptions available upon request! My complex unfortunately does not allow pets, so the caretaking would be happening in your home or neighborhood. I will be respectful of your house rules and rules for your pet. I will only be in your home when necessary. I will only use your pet's toys and harnesses as to not cross-contaminate with other pets. I will do my best to accommodate any other request as well.

About: I have had a number of cats and small dogs over night or a few nights. I’ve also gone to different family members homes to care for a dog and bunny on various occasions. I’m flexible and intuitive. I work part time, am in school, and have 2 kids. No two weeks look the same and I love it that way. I am able to piece things together to make it all work. I am a calm body and my environment is the same. I will be respectful of what doesn’t belong to me and make sure I clean up any messes left behind, if any.
About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, and own 2 of my own dogs now. I am also a licensed foster parent through the WHS, as well as seasoned pet sitter. Both myself & my fur babies love other pets in our home, or I can stay at yours, if you’d prefer. I’m currently a grad student studying pediatric counseling. I am available most weekdays & on the weekends. I have a relatively flexible schedule & will adapt as last minute as I can to accommodate your beloved fur friend! I have a fenced in yard with two friendly pups who LOVE play dates! We are ready to welcome you into our home (and yard!) as an extension of our family! To us, animals are everything!
About: My husband and I loved our dog for 10 years. We can’t get another one anytime soon but will love yours like our own. We both had dogs as pets growing up and have cared for a pet for 40+ years. I am an elementary school principal. I am available for full-time care or walking June-August. Outside of that, I’m available full-time on the weekends and evenings during the week. We are available to accommodate personal requests, a safe environment and safe neighborhood. We are looking to provide care for your beloved pet and to help you out when needed.

About: I’m the designated dog walker for family and friends because I love going on walks, and dogs love coming with me! I grew up with a dog but only have two cats of my own— so I miss having that four-legged friend to go with me! I’d love to take your dog out for a walk/run, or just let them stretch their legs. Cat owners, I’m happy to give your kitties as much or as little space as they need while making sure they feel the love :) I don’t work Fridays or Saturdays, so I am free to help anytime then! Definitely looking to fill my Fridays up with some time outside, and I’d love to take your dog with me - or check in on your cat! I usually walk my parent’s and brother’s dogs (about 80 lbs each) so I know how to handle bigger dogs on leashes who tend to stray from the sidewalk. I can clean up after them, feed them, and give them all the pets! For my cats at home, I love to play with strings or catnip - and can cater to their personality as need be.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
