“Ambria did a great job taking care of our cat while we were away. She kept us updated with pictures and went above and beyond bringing in our mail and taking care of the garbage. We felt completely confident that our cat was in good hands. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

“Joey did an excellent job with our girls and was so communicative. We’re so happy that she was available and loved the girls as much as we do. Definitely will be booking her again!”

About: Hi, I'm Catilyn! 👋🐾 I've been caring for pets for several years professionally, and nothing makes me happier than helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know them and provide care that's tailored to their individual needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm and reassuring companion, I'm happy to provide the care that helps them feel at ease. I have experience caring for puppies, adult pets, senior pets, and multi-pet households, and I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications when needed, and keeping up with feeding schedules and daily routines. Communication is important to me, so you'll receive regular updates, photos, and messages throughout my visits. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving dependable, compassionate care while you're away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members. I look forward to providing a safe, fun, and loving experience for your pets! I currently work full time in the evenings Thursday through Sunday, so my availability is a little different on those days. I’m still available for drop-in visits and house sitting, but I’m not able to care for dogs who need to be let outside or checked on during the time I’m at work. I’m happy to work with pets whose routines fit around my schedule, and I’m available more flexibly on my other days. My goal is always to make sure I can give each pet the attention and care they need! I keep my availability up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. Providing reliable, consistent care is important to me, and I always make sure each pet receives the time, attention, and love they deserve. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I take the time to follow your care instructions closely—from feeding schedules and walks to playtime, medications, litter box cleaning, or any special requests. I also treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. I'll keep things clean and tidy, make sure your pet has fresh food and water, and give them plenty of love and attention based on their personality and comfort level. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and independent, I let them set the pace while making sure they feel safe and cared for. You'll receive regular photo and video updates after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, healthy, and in good hands while you're away.
About: Hi, I'm Max! I've been a pet lover ever since I was a kid. Currently, I take care of my childhood dog, Jordy, who's about 19 years old and has several health issues. He's a sweet loving rescue dog, and I wouldn't trade him for the world. I am experienced with giving dogs medications, both liquid and solid, and cleaning them as needed. I understand that every dog has their own needs, and I am willing and able to give every dog the love they need, want, and deserve. PLEASE NOTE: Starting September through December of 2026, I will be booked every Tuesday afternoon & evening, as well as all day every Wednesday. I just graduated from Carthage College, so I have the entire summer to care for your pet! Whether that means staying overnight or walking them a few times a day, I'm ready to give them the care they need. I will make sure your pet is safe and secure in your home, making sure physical boundaries are maintained and secure. A safe pet is a happy pet!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
