“This was my first time using Rover. I couldn’t have picked a better family to look after my 2 girls while I was out of town. Scott sent picks and videos every day while yo was gone showing how much fun they were having.”

“Maria and Nayibe took wonderful care of our boys. The dogs had a wonderful time. We received hilarious and adorable updates throughout our trip. They played so much and were so happy when we picked them up! We look forward to working with Maria and Nayibe in the future because we know our boys will have a wonderful time and that relieves so much anxiety for us and our boys.”

“We had our family dog stay with Monique recently. Monique was great to work with and Chewy seemed to really enjoy his time with her and her personal pets. Monique provided feedback during his time with her including fun messages and photos. We have already booked our next stay with Monique.”

“They are the BEST sitters ever! Penny Bean is excited to arrive at their house (confirmation of how caring they are!). We get photos throughout our trips and they are very accommodating if you want more or less information (based on your style as a pet parent!). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!”

“Gianina was a great host to Kona! She sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend! She had a great yard for him to explore, and she took him on nice walks. We will definitely book with her again if we travel!”

“We utilized Angela for a second time. I’m so happy to have found her. I would highly recommend her to any family or friends. Thank you for another great stay, Angela (and your daughter, too)!!”

“This was Akuma’s second time with a sitter and I could tell from the pictures that he was very comfortable with Yolanda. She gave him lots of attention (which he needs) and outdoor time. She treated him like family.”

“Marie took wonderful care of our dog for over 7 days. We really appreciated the daily updates and pictures; it was apparent that our dog got a lot of special attention and love! It allowed us to enjoy our vacation and not worry about how he was doing. Thanks so much, Marie! We would love to book with you again in the future!”

“Josh and Cheryl were absolutely incredible with our dog, Tuck. He’s a high-energy, challenging pup who needs a lot of stimulation, and they went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for, engaged, and happy. They were attentive, active, and cared for him like their own. When his collar broke, they even bought him a new one without hesitation—such a thoughtful gesture that speaks to how much they truly care. We also loved receiving regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t recommend them more highly—if we could give more than 5 stars, we would!”

“Sherry was so amazing in accommodating my senior pup within her home. Tedi was very comfortable and was able to enjoy all of her favorite things with Sherry from naps on the couch to car rides. I appreciated the photos and updates I received and could not have felt more comfortable being away from Tedi for an extended period of time. Definitely will be asking for a repeat stay should her schedule allow!”

“Scott and his dog Lucy were a great match for Roo! I received multiple picture updates and he was great at communicating. We met up beforehand to ensure a good match, and it was clear Scott has a natural way with dogs. Would gladly rebook!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and in our home, pets are truly family. I’m a mom to one little boy and also a proud dog mom to my fur babies. My family and I are all animal lovers, and we understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. We have rescued two of our family pets, one who has since passed and our current dog, Ollie. Because of Ollie, we know firsthand how important a safe and secure yard is. We live on an acre in Sussex with a fully fenced-in yard, which gives dogs plenty of space to safely run, play, sniff, and enjoy being outside. My husband and mom both work from home, so there is almost always someone here. This allows pets to have frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, attention, and company throughout the day. We love making dogs feel like part of our family while they are with us. I care for every pet the way I would want someone to care for my own, with patience, love, attention, and lots of updates. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, cuddle, or explore the yard, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved during their stay. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule. I am available for pet sitting at a clients home. I am also available for early morning walks or after work, and even drop in visits during the day. I care for other’s pets as I would want anyone to treat my own pets. I believe our pets are part of the family and I would want anyone to treat my pet to the best of their abilities.
“This was our first time using Rover. We had last minute work done in our house where the cats had to be gone. Aidan and Dani were amazingly patient with our four cats who have quite unique personalities.”

“Again, Jenifer did a wonderful job taking care of our cavapoo Toby so we could go on our Alaskan cruise. It makes it so much easier to travel knowing he is taken so well care of!!!! Thank you so much Jenifer. We really appreciate you!!!”

“Ashlee is absolutely amazing! She provided us with adorable pictures and updates during Boscos stay; we will definitely be requesting future sittings and sending friends her way!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
