It was difficult to leave her with a new dog sitter (our usual sitter got a new job) but after meeting Paul and seeing that Rheyah was immediately comfortable with him, we felt confident that he would take good care of her. Paul made sure that Rheyah took her medicine multiple times per day, fed her a special diet and even gave her a partial bath every other night to treat her chronic skin condition. About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life. I grew up showing dogs, both my family dogs and others. My family back home currently has three dogs, each a different size, from small to large, so I have experience with all sizes. I live in a great area for casual walks, with a dog park and a small lake nearby for the pups that are allowed to swim! I work full-time, in-office Monday through Thursday and from home on Fridays. I take daily walks around my neighborhood in the evening. On weekends, I love exploring a new coffee shop and walking trail or just a longer walk in the areas near me. I’d love to bring your pet along with me on walks and for downtime on the couch afterwards! I don’t have a fenced yard, but there is a dog park where your pup can run freely. Outside of that, we have open grass areas where we can walk. All pups are welcome on furniture at my place and are welcome to enjoy the space as their own. I do have a patio that they’re more than welcome to sit outside and enjoy with me.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and love them so much that I decided to work at a Dog and Cat daycare and boarding facility. I’ve been working there for 3 years and have worked with all breeds and ages varying from puppies to seniors and love comforting them and making them happy while also making sure their parents know they are in good hands! I’m currently working part-time and my availability is flexible. I’m willing to make adjustments as long as I am notified at least 2-3 weeks in advance. Depending on the typical routine of the pet, I will follow it as close as possible to make them feel as comfortable as I can. I will keep them busy by going on walks or by playing with them, or if they have lower energy I’ll just make sure to give them extra attention.
