About: I've lived with animals my entire life. Growing up, we had five dogs, four cats, bunnies and guinea pigs, snakes and lizards, fish, and chickens. Currently, while living at home in the summers, we have snakes, lizards, spiders, a cat, and three dogs, one of which is mine. My dog Winston is a service dog in training that my mom and I are owner-training. While I'm in no way a professional trainer, I can help with teaching or maintaining the basics with any dog. I'm currently home for the summer from school and waiting on an application for a part-time job. I am free most of the day right now, as I haven't started working yet. So, I can come over and take care of any pet's needs most any time. I can take care of your animals' needs any time, whether it's taking them on a walk, letting them outside, feeding, cleaning up, or playing with them. My dogs at home are crate trained, so if your dog also stays in a crate at certain points of the day or night, I can easily crate them.

Am also comfortable and capable of working with puppies or dogs of very high energy breeds. My goal is to make sure your pet is safe and well cared for while you are away. I currently work full time as a vet tech but can be available to feed, walk, exercise, potty, and spend time outside your pet before and after work and during my lunch break. I am available most afternoons after 2:30pm and all day Thursdays and Weekends. I will care for your pets in your home, reducing any stress of being in an unfamiliar environment. About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.
