About: I haven't been without a dog since age nine, when my parents gave us our first opportunity to develop a bond with a pet, Abby, our beloved English setter. She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.

About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. About: I’ve had a cat my whole love except for when I was around 17. I’m confident giving most of them medication and clipping (my cats) nails. Cleaning litter box’s once a day is a must. Play time and cuddles are equally important if they want them. Ive bathed my own cat but obviously all cats are different. If it’s a drop in for a back rub and some food, or a stay at your place for a kitty to not be alone, I’m so in!

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

I have not done injections but am willing to do if trained I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. I have a fenced yard and am close to a local state park for long walks. I also live in a very walkable subdivision. I don’t mind a well behaved pet on furniture.

About: I have had dog from puppy to senior over the last 20yrs. I have watched friends dogs as well. Always enjoy being around the energy. I will have time starting after Thanksgiving to board dogs. My routine changes weekly, but can work around what is needed. It might be easiest to have dogs at my house. I have a nice sized backyard with room to run, fetch or just be outside. It is not fenced in, but we have an invisible fence.
About: As of recent, I no longer have any pets of my own full-time and will enjoy getting to spend time with yours! I have had pets almost all of my life, and always more than one at a time. Because all animals are different, my first priority is to provide the type of care and services specific to their individual needs. I do have a large yard, but it is not fenced in. I love to go on walks / hikes with dogs.

She died the year I graduated from college, and since then I have had two of my own dogs: Gretta, a chocolate lab whom I owned from age 6 weeks until her death at age 13, and Lillie, a springer spaniel who was basically a life-long puppy exploding with energy and a fervor for running, jumping, and all things adventure-related. Sadly, Lillie died in June (at age 13), and we miss her so much. My husband and I like to travel, so I am not quite ready to adopt another dog yet, but in the meantime, I would love to pet-sit for other dogs so as to be around furry friends who bring so much joy to my life. I'm a teacher, so I'm mainly interested in walking and caring for pets on the weekends and during the summer months, but I can be available other times as well depending on my schedule. My job is to provide love, attention, and a safe and enriching learning environment to any pet in my care. I accommodate as needed depending on the needs of the individual animal.
