About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.
About: Hello! My name is Avery and I have been an avid dog lover my whole life! Growing up my family had a goofy golden doodle and a loving golden retriever that were staples to my childhood memories. Currently, my family has two Aussies (a black tri and red merle, incase you were curious!) both under the age of 2. These past two years I have been my family's personal dog sitter for when they go on vacations, weekend getaways, and casual late-night dinners. For those of you who may know, Aussies are an incredibly energetic breed, fortunately, I am young, strong, and ALWAYS looking for an excuse to be outside.
