About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for friends and neighbors for almost 10 years. I have helped raise puppies while nannying, and have dog sat overnight for years! I have an energetic lovable 9 month old lab of my own who would love to have a friend to play with! I’ve cared for sick pets, puppies, and adult dogs. About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: As of recent, I no longer have any pets of my own full-time and will enjoy getting to spend time with yours! I have had pets almost all of my life, and always more than one at a time. I have experience caring for cats, dogs, small indoor pets, and birds. I also provide care for chickens, and feeding care for horses, goats, and sheep. For the past 8 years I have done overnight, extended stay pet sitting, drop in care, and boarding in my home for dogs or small animals who come with their home (for example guinea pigs). About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. I adopted my first dog, Ziggy in 2009. Unfortunately, Zig had special needs that cut his already short life even shorter. I made sure his days were filled with love, fun and all of the special care he needed. Ziggy inspired me to go on to adopt a kitty, eventually another dog and volunteer with a rescue.
