“This is the second time we use Matt and he’s great with the girls. He checked on them and gave them their food and took them for a walk. He’s good with the girls and they enjoy their time with him”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve cared for cats since childhood, regularly looked after a spirited but lovable German Shepherd, and spent time around various animals including livestock. Currently, I work at a premium dog kennel and daycare, where I’ve gained valuable experience managing dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. What truly sets me apart is my deep rooted love and comfort around animals. I connect with them easily and genuinely enjoy their company more than anything else. Their well-being is always my first priority. My work schedule can vary between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., but pet care still fits naturally into my routine. I work at a dog kennel/daycare, which gives me the unique ability to bring dogs with me if I have a long shift or if they need all-day supervision. Dogs are evaluated for daycare, and if they’re not comfortable around others, they’ll go into private play—where they get one-on-one outdoor time every few hours. The accommodations include beds, water bowls, and even free dog food if needed. I cover the cost myself, so your pet’s comfort and care are always a priority. We also offer baths at my work, which could come in handy for some dog owners. Since I’m unable to bring pets into my home, I offer in-home sitting and care. I believe the best care comes from following the pet owner’s instructions closely—no one knows their pet better than they do. I’m here to provide exactly what they feel is best for their pet’s comfort and routine. Through my work at a professional dog kennel, I’ve gained valuable experience recognizing signs of stress or discomfort in animals. If a pet seems uneasy with me or their environment, I adjust immediately to ensure they feel safe and secure. Additionally, if you're a beginner pet parent with any questions or concerns about caring for your pet, I’m happy to offer guidance and advice to help you feel confident in your role as a pet owner.
“Tara is a wonderful, engaged, and considerate sitter. I have never seen my nervous dog relax with anyone the way he did with Tara. She kept me updated with notes and photos while I was gone and I came home to a happy puppy. I would definitely recommend Tara to anyone with a skittish dog!”

“Jessica was amazing!! Our crew loved hanging out with her! She sent pics with every drop in and was very attentive to the group! Would 10/10 recommend her to anyone and we will be booking with her again!”

About: We have lived with multiple animals over the years and had experience taking care of all of them. From dogs, to cats, Chickens and even snakes! I work full time, M-F 5:00am-4:00 pm. My wife works from home every other week, so depending on the week we can host with attention through the day. Otherwise after one of us gets home. We have a fenced yard great for bigger animals. Our home is very animal friendly and we have lots of room for them to explore. We also only ever watch one family friend at a time. Unless they are siblings. This is for our safety and the safety of your family.
“Allison was great in the care of our senior cat. We appreciated the updates, pictures and the fact that she was accommodating with bringing in packages from the porch into the house while we were away.”

About: Hi! My name is Marinda and I chose to be apart of Rover because I have always loved animals. I serve as a manager at a local veterinary hospital and have years of experience when it comes to dog watching. I’m hoping this is an opportunity I’ll be able to take care of others dogs! I have always enjoyed all types of dogs and seem to get along with them all as well. Hope to be able to be apart of your pets life! I am a full time employee who would love to have a second job but doesn’t have the time for it, so, I fill in my easy days with Rover! It’s easy to manage with my own hours! First and foremost I read about the pet and what the owners have to say about them. This will give me a good idea for what I am getting into when I enter the owners house. I will already know how the dogs are going to act and I will be prepared. I never leave the doors unlocked/open unless advised by the owner. I will do exactly what the owner has said to do. I will always double check a dog is secured with their leash when going outside, I will also be aware of the weather and how that might switch the dogs needs when going outside.
About: I’ve taken care of friends and family's pets since I was young. Recently I have been pet sitting as many dogs and kitties as I can. I’m very adaptable and adore animals. I dance part time, on Monday’s 3-9, Tuesdays 7-9, and Thursdays 3-7. Other than that my time is completely flexible for pet sitting. I’m very tidy and will always leave the house better than I found it! I’m also good with cleaning up puppy/kitty accidents.
About: There is no substitute for the love of a pet owner, however, when you are unable to be home and need care for your pet, what I provide in services of drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting is the next best thing. I have owned various types of pets throughout my life. These pets ranged from a bearded dragon, cats, dogs - of varying sizes, and a few other species in-between. I do not shy away from large or muscular breeds of dogs, and if relevant, the same standard applies to cats as well. I love to stay active in my personal life and will bring that quality to the engagement with your beloved pet(s). I look forward to engaging in their needs and provide speciality care if needed. I cannot wait to meet them!

About: We recently moved back to our roots to a spot right off South St. In Oconomowoc. We had our dog sitting business in San Diego, CA and will miss our furry friends so much! My husband and I both love animals very much and have the perfect set-up to host. We enjoy morning and evening cuddles and allow dogs on the couch and bed :) We will take care of your pup just the same as we care for our own. We have a 4 year old mutt that we adopted 3 years ago who has brought so much joy to our life! She loves to play and enjoys the dog park/hanging around other dogs as much as she can. She loves walks around the lake as I am sure your pup will too! We both have experience taking care of other dogs and have dog sit for many of our friends and family members for extended periods of time when they are out of town. We can provide pictures as little or as often as you would like. Excited to meet your furry friend soon! I currently work 4 days of the week and have every Thursday off. My husband works remotely from home so he is able to tend to your pups needs all day. This schedule works great for our pups that need frequent potty breaks and attention. We have long leashes attached to our back deck so the dogs can enjoy the sun and being outdoors as much or as little as they would like without having to worry about them wandering off! Moxie loves basking in the sun and shade out there as I am sure yours would too! Water bowls always provided and refreshed as needed.
“Mary is amazing! I can’t recommend her enough! She looked after my dog for a week and her service exceeded my expectations. It was so comforting knowing Mary was caring for my dog while I was away. She is reliable, professional, and provides excellent pet care!”
