Maddie took amazing care of my two cats, Isabella and Coco. Coco is notoriously shy and has always hidden from previous sitters, but Maddie worked her magic and managed to coax her out—something no one else has been able to do! She made sure both cats ate well, stayed happy, and received plenty of attention. Maddie also kept me updated with daily videos and photos, which gave me such peace of mind during a stressful time. About: We lost our sweet Blue (11 year old labradoodle) 3 years ago of bone cancer, and have recently become empty nesters. We LOVE dogs, and our cat has missed his canine companion. Our yard is over an acre, and includes a wooded area. We are also located near beautiful trails that we can walk to. Both of us work from home the majority of the time, and we will only open our home up to furry house guests if we are sure that at least one of us is available to be home the majority of the day. Your dog will love the extra love and attention that they will receive, and we tend to be a bit lenient with letting dogs on furniture/beds. Most of our neighbors own dogs, and there are young children next door. That being said, a dog that is friendly with other dogs and not wary of children would LOVE a vacation with us. I am working part time, and my husband works at least 1/2 of the time from home. We are flexible with dog schedules, and have experience with "elderly" dogs with special needs. We have a large yard (over an acre), which is not fenced in. Our neighborhood connects to walking trails and parks, so your dog will have ample exercise opportunities. We are extremely flexible with our schedules, and can adapt to meet your dog's current routines.

About: Hello! My family and I love animals. We've been on Rover since January 2024! We currently have 2 indor cats and have backyard chickens (in coop) that are pets and lay eggs for us. We live in a quiet Hartland neighborhood in a cul-de-sac that is very low traffic. Part of our yard is fenced for play and potty breaks, and I love taking walks around our neighborhood. The majority of the week, my husband is working from home or I am home. The longest your pet may be left is 6 hours if staying with us during the work week. So usually someone is there to spend time with your pet! We are available any day of the week for boarding. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac. I always practice sit-stay when opening the door to prevent bolting out. Part of our yard is fenced and outside the fence your pet will always be leashed. If I am away for a short period and it's needed for safety or per your preference, we do have a large crate and an enclosed pet gate.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I love to walk and play with them and also have snuggle time if they like that. My schedule is flexible to accommodate their needs! I have not done injections but am willing to do if trained I’m retired so I have plenty of time to care for your pet in my home or come to your home for check-ins and walks. I have a fenced yard and am close to a local state park for long walks. I also live in a very walkable subdivision. I don’t mind a well behaved pet on furniture.

About: I have always had a dog growing up, so I learned from a very young age how to care for a pet. Friends and family have trusted me to take care of their dogs since I was around 12 years old. This includes stopping in the house to take them to the bathroom and feeding them, as well as giving medication if needed. Lots of snuggles and playtime too of course! I have taken care of dogs in the client's home for up to a week and cared for them at my home as well. No need to worry about any complex feeding schedules. I can manage it all. I am very comfortable with any age, breed, and sized dog! I have a one-year-old pup, so I am very familiar with training and puppy classes. I have volunteered at the humane society and when I was in high school, I job shadowed at a veterinary clinic. I currently work as a substitute teacher so my schedule is extremely flexible! During the summer months I am completely open. Weekdays and weekends any time of day. I make my own schedule so there will be no conflicts. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for some off leash playtime! My dog loves to run around playing fetch with a ball or stick. I have a walking path across the street from my home and am walking distance to nature hill for some extra exercise. I always have water, waste bags and small treats with me when going on walks. (My dogs personal favorites are cheerios). I am comfortable walking with any leash, collar or harness. I have two kennels in my living room if your dog needs to be crated. At least one crate is big enough to fit a large or XL dog. I have a baby gate in front of my stairs, and the basement door is always shut. I personally love going to the pet store or drive thru to get my pet a pup cup! I would be more than happy to take your dog for an adventure and for some extra love and enrichment!

About: I've lived with animals my entire life. Growing up, we had five dogs, four cats, bunnies and guinea pigs, snakes and lizards, fish, and chickens. Currently, while living at home in the summers, we have snakes, lizards, spiders, a cat, and three dogs, one of which is mine. My dog Winston is a service dog in training that my mom and I are owner-training. While I'm in no way a professional trainer, I can help with teaching or maintaining the basics with any dog.
