“Joanne was absolutely wonderful with our dog, she was very responsive to our request, accommodating to our time windows, and kept in communication with us the entire time we were gone. She was so loving and welcoming to our dog that he didn’t even want to come home! Highly recommended!”

About: I have had dog from puppy to senior over the last 20yrs. I have watched friends dogs as well. Always enjoy being around the energy. I will have time starting after Thanksgiving to board dogs. My routine changes weekly, but can work around what is needed. It might be easiest to have dogs at my house. I have a nice sized backyard with room to run, fetch or just be outside. It is not fenced in, but we have an invisible fence.

“We have a very active puppy (Loki) and wanted to bring him to the beach with us. Kim was very loving toward our dog and we were able to pick him up and take him to the beach and drop him off after so we could go back to our hotel. I loved that Loki was always happy to see Kim when we dropped him off. That meant a lot to me. We will use Kim again. Loki can’t wait to come back and play with her own wonderful pack.”
“My dog absolutely loves Kandice. She was amazing. She’s had my dog for boarding for 3 weeks and I’ve been able to pick my dog up and play with her and drop her back off after. Very accommodating and loves and cares for my dog like her own!”

“Riley had such a great experience, and I truly can’t say enough good things. Communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was so flexible when our flights changed, which took a huge weight off my shoulders. She even sent pictures without us asking which we absolutely loved and really appreciated. Her kids and mother were incredibly kind and Riley also got along so well with their dog, Annalise. Riley isn’t around other dogs very often, so I was a little nervous, but they did great together and it made me so happy to hear how well she adjusted. Honestly, the whole experience felt so comfortable… like I’ve known them for a long time. That says a lot when you’re trusting someone with your dog. I would absolutely use them again without hesitation. I think Riley may have even found herself a new best friend 🐾”

“Andrew helped watch my dog, Lucy, during a recent trip I had. He was very flexible and communicative throughout the process with drop off and pickup, and sent great photos throughout the stay to keep me comfortable regarding how Lucy was doing. Would absolutely book with him again.”

“Sherry was amazing watching my dog Mel! She was super communicative and sent lots of updates and photos about what they were up to. This was the first time I used Rover to find someone to watch my dog because it's hard for me to trust someone to care for Mel that way I do, but I would definitely trust Sherry with Mel again.”

“I recently adopted my dog Bruno and he still can be a little skittish at times. When I went on vacation I didn't want to have to board him at a kennel where there might be a little too much simulation for him. Nikki and her family were perfect for him. He stayed with them for a week and I'm confident he was well taken care of because when it came time to pick him up he almost seemed hesitant to leave with me lol. Could tell he was comfortable in the house which says a lot. Will definitely be using Nikki again. Thank you!”

“I am thankful Rhonda was able to watch my Boston Terrier on short notice. I was very comfortable leaving him with her and will definitely have her watch him in the future.”

“Thanks for taking care of Raider while we were out of town. I am glad that he was able to find a friend to teach him the ropes. The daily pictures were a blessing which we hope will continue in the future.”

“Laura was great! Our dog Dolly seemed well taken care of. Dolly got along really good with her labrador Diesel. He is a sweet boy. Highly recommend her and have scheduled for future plans. Theresa W.”

About: I've had a dog for most of my entire life and had the knowledge to train them on my own. While dogs seem to naturally gravitate toward me, I've felt that good discipline and reward at a young age is the most important thing for a healthy long-term friendship with an animal. I do work full-time, but I am able to make stops in the mornings and again after work as needed. My wife works at home full-time and can assist as needed also. I can be flexible depending on what you want. Right now, however, I prefer to do drop-in visits and walks while not taking your pet full-time.

“Mathaus was great! He responded quickly, took Ruby for plenty of walks, & sent lots of pictures! He even made a recommendation when we picked Ruby up (she's a very messy with water!) Ruby will definitely be staying with him again.”

“My dog was apparently incredibly bad with Lauren (NOT HER WORDS. She was very sweet about telling me about his behaviors). Not because of her, but because of it being his first time being away from us and not knowing what to expect. She was patient and communicative with us. She sent a ton of pictures and videos and talked through any problems that's arose. I would definitely work with Lauren in the future.”

“Ashlee did wonderful taking care of my 11yo Shih tzu and 2yo Goldendoodle. She took them on walks, and sent me updates while I was on my trip!! She was flexible with the time changes in my travel and made it easy for me to pick them up!! I know my pups were in great care with Ashlee!! Thanks again ☺️”

“Angie was great. This was our first time using her for boarding our dog and we would definitely recommend her to others. She was SO responsive to messages and made us feel comfortable while out of the state.”

“Ann and Arman are the absolute best! They're so kind and caring with our dog and she loves staying with them. I'm fairly certain our dog prefers them over us at this point :)”

“Lisa was so great with my nervous dog. You can tell, and my dog could tell, that’s she’s a pet lover. My dog latched on to her and Lisa was very reassuring sending pictures and updates letting me know my dog was in good hands. I was able to relax more on my vacation knowing ZeZe was being well cared for!”

Hartland pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jenifer took great care of my anxious little girl, Coda. Jenifer gave Coda the patience and gentleness she needed to feel at home at Jenifer’s place, and for that I am super appreciative. Jenifer would absolutely be my top choice to watch Coda again in the future.

Scott was a fantastic pet sitter! Our Pet Kaju stayed with him for two weeks, and he took such great care of him. Kaju was happy, healthy, and full of energy when we picked him up. Scott also regularly shared pictures and updates, and always responded to our messages promptly. We felt completely at ease knowing Kaju was in such good hands. Highly recommend!

Megan and her family were great hosts for our girl Finn during our wedding weekend! They took such good care of her and we can tell she was so happy with them. We loved the random updates and photos just to keep us in the loop on how she was doing and would definitely book them again next time we are in town. Thank you!
